An analog horror series detailing a third world war/cold war gone hot scenario set somewhere between the late 1970s to early 1990s would frankly be both a refreshing and period appropriate addition to the genre The horror wouldn't be from the supernatural or extraterrestrial but from the raw, brutal reality that nearly came crashing down on us all not too long ago
I think having the audio so fucking loud and oversteered that you can barely hear anything would be more realistic. Since a recording inside a tank is basically just noises. But the camera shake and visual effects are on point. Good job!
Lore I made up: February 12th, 1986, South of the Fulda Gap Brigade Commander Dmitry Ushanka (Tank commander), Lieutenant Sergey Pavlovich (Gunner) and Lieutenant Vladislav Lobayev are the last survivor of the 35th Tank Army. They are in a desperate brawl against superior US forces with M60s and M1s, which have much better night equipment than them. Earlier before the clip, all of their comrades got killed but Dmitry Ushanka and his crew managed to destroy 2 M1s and 1 M60. In the clip, they are seen in a desperate fight, trying to hold off superior NATO forces. They manage to hit one M60, destroying it. Then a bit later in the'yre seen shooting at an M60, which shrugs of the shot and in turn they get hit in the turret and the gunner, Pavlovich gets badly wounded and the one of the sight's of the tank gets destroyed. At the last few moments of the clip, the crew can be seen heavily panicking as their tank starts to slowly fill with smoke. Then just before the camera cuts off, the tank gets hit, violently bursting into flames killing the driver and gunner, while wounding the commander who manages to bail out.

People really underestimate the capabilities of russian mbt canons. A 125mm depleted uranium dart flying at the speed of at least 1.64 km per second (1640m/s) is very lethal. And people still argue the opposite.
No one is saying they’re less lethal. Tbh this is just a depiction of what a surrounded tank crew looks like in modern times more specifically the Cold War era if things went hot. Also the NATO forces own the night they have superior NVG’s especially during this time period when not every T80 was fitted with good NVG’s or Thermals.
I'm pretty sure M1 crew are as equally scared as T80 crew. Soviets aren't using nerf darts like east germans and they still managed to destroy some of their comrades

How is this analogue horror? It’s just analogue.
@@matthewjones39Oh come on, it's cut. It's not just random footage, it's intentionally cut in a way to build suspense.
war is horrifying
@@jlight7346 War is quite hectic and chaotic, it could be cut in that way to portray that.
