OMG LMAO I immediately bought the game after watching Day9 play for like 10 minutes and then didn't watch any gameplay of it until I was done. This is exactly why the no backseating unless explicitly asked is so great, we wouldn't get this amazing payoff otherwise.

I also never understood what the fish was telling me, I didn't find the warp room until after I had delivered the disk. But I did figure out that frisbee trick with the switch!
Probably should have edited the wife solution after the day9 solution. I didn't understand the first part of the video until after watching the second part and rewatching the first part.
I took the same path as you, and it took me literally until the very end of the game to learn the teleport song, I was only missing like 8 eggs at that point T_T

To be fair, your path was already more clever than most people's. From what I can tell, not a lot of people even think of using warps at all. The the frisbee move is very hard to think of in the heat of the moment while chased by the dog.
I didn't think of warping, but at least I had the remote for the last bit.

It's ok Day9 I did the EXACT same thing lmao. Minus the running in circles at the end, I did the frisbee trick. But I didn't know anything about warping yet.

Don't feel bad Sean I didn't even know that music trick existed until I saw this video and I have no idea how you're supposed to figure that one out 😅. I too ran around panicking like an idiot for about 4 trials

I saw the Amnesia playthrough. Day 9 and spooky pressure don't mix.
Every time the fish was doing its song I was like "Surely Day9 will understand the fish song in the flute area" I was mistaken. The insane route workaround was worth it all.
This was incredible to watch and I want to make fun of this but I died like 5 times after the teleport and had to keep doing the timed jumping part with ghost chasing me.

I did it the hard way too. I didn't realize the dpad is the way to go for the flute because I kept trying to do the pattern and it didn't seem to do anything. it was because I wasn't actually playing each note twice
That was the best speed run I've ever seen.

I think - since I too watched all of the streams- that he recorded the beginning bit solo to make the point after he saw his wife do it.

this game has grate discover, throw the world and secrets hidden in it, but is not just that that you can discovery, what you can do is also a discovery when making a tool with multiple use with in the world. don't where day9 my mind was also dumbfounded when i discovered it way to long into the games. xD

That cat is literally the reason why I don't even want to play this game, it's the very opposite of encouraging exploration in the game.
You don't have to do it this way. There's a way without having to run from it at all.
