Hi GG Does your file have a rough surface on the side that you are using to try and make the groove? May sound like a silly question but some files are smooth on the edges! Alternatively you can use a saw with a wider blade. I couldn't find such a saw so that is why I used a file as plan B
This was insanely helpful. We had no other options(we tried everything!) but this saved us a pair of running shoes!
Brilliant; thank you! I'm lazy and used a Dremel with a small cut-off wheel to cut and widen the groove.
Any recommendations if it doesn't work?
I posted a video with this exact same solution 9 years - How To Remove Worn Down Spike In Minutes.
Hello, I have a little problem.
The spike breaks when I turn the screwdriver… can you help me ?
Hi, this is so useful. Is there a link for the tools?
Amazing! I feel like MacGuyver!
I am at the filing part, but it won’t seem to make a dent for a screwdriver
