no the worst part was when the guy was doing 22 in an 30mph zone ,that where they lost the race ,there and that "oh so funny " hand over wasted at least 15/20 seconds there , not much of a victor for the horse

I've always asked why we can't just uses horses or make a special lane for horse riders. They should turn bike lanes into horse lanes since bike riders always ride on sidewalks anyways. As long as me and my horse have food we never have to worry about running out of breath, bring a small spray bottle to keep your horse's body temperature from getting too hot, or use those horse blankets to keep them warm during winter riding etc. Horses are the best, and even most city police use. They're also way safer than a car. Horses have survival instincts like humans do so of they feel like they're going to get hurt they swerve out of the way. I've seen a lady demonstrate this by heading the horse towards a tree, he just swerved around it. Same for cliffs, other horses. It's also way easier to see behind you and around you being that you're not boxed in by a bunch of tin and windows.

A horses best trsit is it goes at a slow speed for a long time and is able to carry a lot of stuff. A csr can do all that stuff but at a much faster speed

That wasn't top speed.. A horse can go much faster but this breed in particular is better suited to the terrain. A tb can run upto 55mph, on grass or sand

Think about you driving your car in highway you are heading to another state if you car can get mechnical problem than stop in middle nowhere than what will u do? but the horse is nature u can ride them they can take you other state by taking short road the only things is give them rest they will eat grass after while they will become full energize.

Quarter horses are really tough and well adapted for rough terrain like that. Thoroughbred wouldn't do too good in that Rocky cliff Type Enviorment.

It's because of the speed limits and the route, it would've beat the horse easily. And I know, horses are obviously important as they're actually living organisms but for transport cars are 10000000 times better for many reasons 😊😊

I understand why most people don't like Top Gear USA. They're not as precise or as sophisticated as UK but, I still love both the same way, nonetheless.
they should use arabian horses rather than the quarter horses. arabian horses are built for endurance and agility and can go even faster. 1 horsepower yay!
Yeah it would probably give the horses a larger lead. But since they were copying the pony express they used quarter horses since that is what was used then (also finding Arabians in Utah are harder to find... well that would be good for this and people would agree to let them borrow). It would have been interesting to see it with Arabians though.

I hate how some people are getting salty in comments that the horse's won, yes, cars are good and horses are good, and these are a list of flaws you may have with both.
Cars:
You cannot have a bond with an car
Cars can breakdown (depending on the type or brand or car you have)
Not all cars are fast
Some overheat
Horses:
Spooking/ Bolting, Bucking
Rocks can get stuck in hooves
Cannot go as fast
Taking a break after running, as they can get tired, but they are also known to go far.
So nobody is really a real winner if you think about it :>
Also drivers, if you read this, please be nice to an horse rider if their riding on your road, usually riders will respect you, and you should respect them, and sometimes riders will get off of the road if a car is coming (I'm sorry if their rude)
