Hey Justin! Small victories add up... after a while! That tiller will make life a whole lot easier when it comes to preparing the garden plots! "From the Ashes Of Disaster Grow The Roses Of Success!".
Yep i been knocking stuff out one at a time last few weeks but i got some folks wanting knives so i gotta get on them and a beaver job i put off
@@SpiritoftheOutdoors Keep plugging away at it!
Heard your comment about cleaning parts with starter fluid. Years ago I found out it also chills down snakes (I was told it’s because it contains ether) when a copperhead took up residence under the hood of the car I was riding in. A security guard sprayed it, it fell under the car and he used a dog catcher’s pole to drag it out. Glad someone knew what to do!
I kept a case of it in my service truck when i was doing diesel mechanicwork
Very well done........Common sense goes a long way.......Thumbs Up
Thank you sir
If you turn the gas off on the carb and let it run the gas out when you're done tilling it will eliminate the carb cleaning. Those tillers take 140 gear lube, the hard part to replacing the wheel axle seals is getting the wheels off. I've been working on those for 35 years. Great tillers. The easy way to fill the trans is to take the handlebars off with the t handle and pour it down the hole until it comes out the hole in the side where you were putting the oil in.
That ethanol will turn to tooth paste. This one had sit up for 2 years . And you exactly right we couldnt get the wheels off. Im gonna mount the tires by laying the tiller in the side lol
Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching
Ol tiller running pretty good now. I think it was the lecture you gave it that helped.
Yea it definitely helped lol
Will Justin I see you got it up and going good for you I have a problem not looking when these videos were made thinking that they just come out and of course they haven't but very glad to see you got the girl up and going I think Troy-Bilt was one of the best tiller ever made
well snap thats the way to do it i had one for years and sold it now i wish i still had it good job
I hate to get rid of anything because at some point i always want it .
@@SpiritoftheOutdoors ye i know them old tillers are good tools justin
I had a tiller just like that that jumped into gear and snagged my pants and just about drug me down hill through the woods
I forgot about that till you said you didn't want to get run over
That reminds me of that Ray Stevens song Power Tools
Good video for those that may need some help. Wish I had a quarter for all the carbs I have cleaned over the years .
Nice video thanks.
Dude. You are awesome
Thank you
Take the t handle sticking up out it screws out and that's where you fill it up at till it comes out where you are filling it up at in the video hope it helps and it's a lot easier then are good tillers I own 3
How did i never know that
Love your new intro with Brodie. What do you think, another year maybe and he'll have his own channel ha ha.
Wont be long
I KNOW WHEEL BEARINGS YOU HAVE TO PACK WITH WHEEL BEARING GREASE.
Thats right . Except big trucks run on oil. I say that cause i dont know how much of my life was spent pumping a handle on a bucket lol
Mmhm…. Got any French fried taters? Great video
How did you get the gear back in there? I cant get mine to get past and mesh with the worm gear.
Do you have it in neutral. I really can’t remember right now but ive got to take it back apart because now i have a bearing out up by the engine
I'm working on a 1970 horse and can't get the tine assembly out without loosining the drive shaft. I see you got yours off and on no problem.
How have the replacement parts worked out?
It has been working fine
I see that ol boy complaining about your accent done got your attention and now you goin multi culture with your videos 😅
I was just trying to relate to the only folks that work anymore 😂
