I've used laser cutters in the past, and I can definitely say that the ability to see the piece on the camera and move the graphics based on the actual piece of wood is pretty revolutionary and seems it would save a ton of time and reduce f***ups.
Those drawings look amazing! You sneaky fellow, we thought you’d been showing off your talents these UA-cam years but you’ve still got secrets, haven’t you? That collection of tools looks amazing. I just got hold of my wife’s grandfathers No. 6 Stanley, been binging restoration videos to learn how to bring it back to life. Good luck and thanks for the vid!
Thanks mate, the drawing where an old hobby ro pass time while I was away from home. I am looking forward to the toolbox job. Nice score on the number 6, something special about the really old tools
Dude I really like you! I always have such a great time watching your videos and you inspire me to buy and learn new tools or starting in the first place.
I see a Dainer video. I watch a Dainer video 🧡 Bring on the nostalgia box & bench-volution ! 🙌 The little lunchbox laser looks like it does everything it says it does on the box too
Hey hey, It is a good size for me and I will be able to find a home without taking up floor real estate. Sucking away fumes is a big part of it for me. And I dont have to check square, just tell it to make a square
My Grandfather was a carpenter, he passed when I was only 3yo, I reckon he would have had something similar, looking forward to seeing the restoration 😊😊
I really do admire your craftsmanship and of course your Gold Medal glue-up slide-step, so I mean no disrespect, but you do put me in mind of the great Canadian handyman from the 90's, Mr. Red Green. You could be a hoser mate!
Cheers mate, I will be slowly working through the toolbox, I am a little light on time unfortunately. But it is a good project for just for me to chip away at and enjoy the time out there.
Daines, the trick with big boxes with tight internal packing material is to flip it upside down, open the bottom, flip it back rightside up, then slip the box up and off.
Dainer, love yr work and that’s a great compact device. As a woman my brain for a Laser product for sale….SHOE and handbag board modules and brackets stained black.😍
So after wasting a heap of time looking into these units, I find out you can’t buy one in Australia. That seems like something an Aussie promoting this product might have thought was worth mentioning!
Used you link for the Wecreat laser and it says Amazon does not ship this item to Australia. Wecreat website also states only ships within Continental USA??
G'day Dainsey, I hope you're well mate. Great video. Airborne rapelling... the most fun you can have with your clothes on. I did mine out of a UH 1H though. I don't think the UH60 was even a dirty thought at the time. I just picked up a new laser from one of the competitors and to be blunt, their service has been sh1t. I might make a video on mt experience with it. Add to that, that I haven't got the damn thing working yet and the whole experience has been nothing short of rubbish. Anyway mate, take care and all the best.
Oh crickey, and who are you referring. It is always hard with all these things coming out of Asia, this one is not even available in Oz that I am aware of. As for the rappelling, I will happily stay on board haha
@@dainermade I bought an xtool d1 pro with the rotary accessory, air assist, enclosure etc. I had to wait more than a month for them to send it and it arrived in dribs and drabs. The enclosure still hasn't arrived. It's getting c,ose to two months now. I'm a bit annoyed.
Great add to your shop and it looks a lot of fun to play around with plus your drawings are quite impressive I think you might need to cut your ear off and change your name to Vincent van Gogh
Well well well looks whos just become even more of my inspiration/idol 😮 he can draw aswell. My wife can draw beautifully to and am not envious 😬😬 seriously though dude looks amazing if you get sick this one or can't find space for it can i have it. 😊 Also am about email ya but what would be the chances of a business growing video re social media etc etc need some help. Thanks mate 🏴👍
I’m not an artist like you think mate 🤣 More a redrawer. I don’t have any plans on a social media video at this stage mate. Social media is a game, show people things, make them stop scrolling… that’s it 🫡
@@dainermade no worries mate I've bought a tripod so go back start filming some snips see how it goes that way maybe it'll work 🤷 mate your more of an artist than I'll ever be in my life time. Woodworker aswell 👍❤️🏴
Nah mate, I would not call my self an artist. I grab a photo and then graph it up and away I go. I wish I had the brain that can just see and draw. But! Thank you
I'm all in for the nostalgia! The laser looks like the sleeping pod I used when I time-travelled across the universe to settle down on Earth.
I am choosing to believe that this is true. For, you know, nostalgia.
🤣 Have you been smoking a little nostalgia big man hahaha!
It’s gotta be true hey
wow that explains ALOT 😂
You are quite the artist! What a great way to give new life to your drawings.
Haha, not really. I draw them from a photo, I wish I had the artist brain to draw from there 🧠
Nice one! Gotta say having a laser in the shop has totally changed how I organise myself now and that auto height adjusting looks schmmmiiick!
Yeah man, watching what you do. Made me want one again
I've used laser cutters in the past, and I can definitely say that the ability to see the piece on the camera and move the graphics based on the actual piece of wood is pretty revolutionary and seems it would save a ton of time and reduce f***ups.
For sure mate. It is really handy, way quicker than trying to “frame” a graphic etc
Thanks for reminding me to just get started.
Too easy. Your name is pretty good reminder 😃

What a set up. And can’t wait for the next video with all the nostalgia
me too mate, slowly chipping away at all the bits and pieces
Every time I watch a laser video I find ANOTHER thing they can do!
They are pretty handy for all sorts of things
Dude I really like you! I always have such a great time watching your videos and you inspire me to buy and learn new tools or starting in the first place.
Awesome! Thank you! That bis really cool to hear mate

Thanks mate. More woodwork on the next video 🤣
My Grandfather was a carpenter, he passed when I was only 3yo, I reckon he would have had something similar, looking forward to seeing the restoration 😊😊
Can you get your hands on it? that is the question haha. I think it will be a slow restoration, more a project for my own fun

That is a top bit of both new and old inheritance! The pew pew pew is cool... but I can't wait to see you get started on the tool chest!

super rad!!! you are now the Laser Master Blaster ⚡⚡⚡
Top drawings mate !
Thanks for shining a light on the laser goodness 😄
Look forward to the future projects.
Thanks Damo, like the CNC, I think it will get a run on many projects where possible.
Another banger Dainsey.
Can’t wait to see what you do with this thing.

Except when there is big This Way Up stickers 🤣

Like the art work 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Are we going to talk about this North Qlder wearing a hoodie 😂 Anyone would think it actually gets cold in the tropics. Nice video mate
Literally the first day I’ve ever worn a jumper in the shed. But that’s it winter over again 🤣
@@dainermade Hahaha, indeed
"Nostalgia, not what it used to be." How have I never heard that one before?! 🤣
I am pretty sure it is in the Dad joke handbook haha
great video mate! I'm looking forward to see here your crazy brain takes us!!!!!🤣
So after wasting a heap of time looking into these units, I find out you can’t buy one in Australia. That seems like something an Aussie promoting this product might have thought was worth mentioning!
Well it was supposed to available soon. Fucks me when 🤷♂️
I am searching for a way to make or get a sign that says "Just get started". Can't wait to see how things turn out here
Random thought, can these sort of laser be used to clean up old tools? Like blast the surface rust and paint off them etc?
Unsure mate. Worth a test, surface rust would probably be fine
Used you link for the Wecreat laser and it says Amazon does not ship this item to Australia.
Wecreat website also states only ships within Continental USA??
Yeah seems they are dragging the chain
Could you stipulate what countries its available in, as i live in the UK.
At the moment, USA and Canada. I’ve no idea on their release dates sorry
Toolbox on side. Expect you know this but braced for next video remaking and it still being on its back.

@briansbuildsandoutdoors4936 that is disappointing to hear. How hard can it be? Ans to top it off, don’t Timbecon now stock xtool?
