Glad I'm not the only one who sees the packaging and thinks "Most awesome! Free wood!" lol
Same.
I have already used some, and the pallet is the next video lol
@dainermade Seems perfectly normal and right to me!
Hey Mark: 1st: That crate had better turn into a coffee table! 2. UA-camr "The Woodpecker" has his CNC on a fold-up table mounted to wall. 3. Have fun mate!
I have seen a few where the whole thing is mounted on the wall permanently but i guess it depends on the purpose it is used for (light weight materials for letter/sign carving etc)
Well, the next video is that pallet... I can confirm lol
I love how you seemed more excited about the plywood and pallet the CNC came with.
Haha! I will not be wasting that gold
Didn't think I'd see the day. Robots in the Dainer Shed. Good to see another Aussie CNC Company to keep BlueCarve on their toes! Competition is great and usually leads to good things :D
Something has to be precise in my shed Jimbo haha. I am pretty excited for this thing
Jeez, you have way more patience that I do. You need a Tardis!!
It was surprising simple to get going... from here who knows lol
The Riverside man made the trek across the water aye …😂😂. That thing will keep you up at night…look forward to seeing what you can do with it. 👏👏👏👏
Keeping me up during the day to Ned lol
Can't wait to see Palletwood CNC projects
Me too mate 😆
😂 😂😂”There’s something wrong with the door!” I must have a really sophisticated sense of humour…
Haha! That was actually to not raise the door and show my garage in full 😆😆
@@dainermade Haha, such a Hollywood trick!
Loved the 80's montage music!
me too lol
It’s funny that the first thing I thought of when you inboxed the cnc was “look at all that cool plywood” 😂
And it’s go nice tattoos on it! I’ll bring using that in the shed for sure
Attach it to a bench built with legs that fold up. Throw a nylon cover over it to keep dust off. Raise it up into the roof space. Or move house.
Or! Give the mitre saw the arse! Which is what I’ve just done 😆
Ah, the pallet must be the most exciting part of the delivery ;) Enjoy the new workflow!
Cheers mate! I’m enjoying it already
Your a massive instparation for me to make things with recycled wood!! I also live in au!
And I can't wait to see more from this (flattening slabs?)
Hi mate thank you, and good to hear you are getting amount the recycled wood. I am sure flattening will be on the cards
That was some nice plywood!
Well I'll be sorry to see you go mate. My business is UA-cam at the moment and many things tend to come along with that path. CNC3D is far from a corporate with their claws in me. They are a small company that has put in very hard work to get to were they are. In fact I am the first UA-cam person they have taken a punt on.
err, I'm not going anywhere- I have to find out what you did with the pallet! I also want to know how and where you made the cnc fit in your shop (closet)... how you are getting along with the new table saw, and whether or not your toilet water really does run ass-backwards. I am a tiny bit tool- jellie but I know how to fix it @@dainermade
I CNC what you have done here. Good job
and I CNC what you did there... lols
Bitterly disappointed in the lack of glue Dainsey lol. Looking forward to what your imagination brings out of that bad boy
The glue will be back very soon lol I am excited to learn this machine and see what it can do in the shed
Congrats on your new CNC, Love your work and vids. Just ordered the tool to take pallets apart with. Thanks for the tip
Awesome! Thank you! And enjoy the ride
Bloody hell Dainsey. This is going to be one hell of a shed with that beast added in.
Looking forward to seeing some projects.
Cheers mate, well I had to make a few sacrifices today. I like a challenge
Innovation keeps you better.Any cheap Cnc will better worker than human :D
They are handy. That is for sure
Great video Mark, really nice machine! Looking forward to future installments
You and me both! thank you
My name is Dainsey and I have a thing to unbox, my first thought was oh god Marc is going to be arrested 😢. What on earth is Tramming🤔 is this the ozzie version of dogging 🫣😳. Oh brother you had me wondering for a moment there i was beginning to think you were into something a bit weird 😅 but then you go and share your numeracy is all outta cock!!!. I'm definitely going to be watching your progress on this project buddy as I have been toying with the idea of a CNC for around six months, i think i shall wait a bit longer to see how well your able to master this machine before i part with my squirrel skin's, unlike your kangaroo skin's over here in the UK the biggest thing i can get is the old squirrel skin's 😂🤣🤪. As alway's buddy 💯% 👍 🇬🇧.
haha, I love your comments Simon! I think I am in the clear with authorities.. tramming may been all above board here... unsure about it in your country though lol
As always thanks for watching
Congratulations Mark.
Thanks mate
Nice machine that came with all that awesome wood you got. Happy CNCing.
Thanks mate, I think I will enjoy it
Excellent, now you can finally get onto those cnc made dovetails you promised me so long ago 😆
There are no time lines on my promises 🤣 cheers Mario
I enjoyed how you stayed true to your Pallet Punter roots while unboxing this incredible machine. I am looking forward to seeing how you integrate it into your work flow.
Me too Dryer. I suspect it may just add a little precision to a few things or just let me try new ways. I am excited to give it a go. cheers mate
Sorry your Wallabies are out of the World Cup. @@dainermade
Great video as always
Appreciate that. Cheers
"and it comes with a pallet!"
Yes sir it does 😆
Storage and sanity, I like putting CNC under assembly table. It sucks to bend down but it doesn’t take up another table top and the square meters.
Unfortunately I don’t have 1200 under bench. Not with out cutting a hole in the shed. Which I did consider 😆
Awesome mate, can’t wait to see what you come up with.
You’re really carving out a niche 😁
I was waiting for the pun 🤣 cheers
@@dainermade😂😂😂
CNC madness in the shed brought to us by Dainsey?? Absolutely brilliant mate! Thanks for sharing this! I have been considering adding a CNC setup to my little shop, just need to find the right setup. Will definitely check out this brand!!
Awesome mate, hopefully you have the space unlike me 😆
@@dainermade I think I have less space than you do if truth be told. Probably set up a pull out table under my workbench if nothing else!!!
@@zacbrown935 oh right. Under bench was not an option for me as it 1100mm off any wall. And that my walk ways 😆
ehhh funnnnnnn! intro nailed it! haha i'm hooked for sure!
Cheers mate! I did really work on that on that first 30 😆
Welcome to the world of CNC mate
thank you, I don't think I am even in the rabbit hole yet haha
The shed cannot handle the Dainer!
I did tame the shed a little today. I am keen for the new challenge lol
Stepping it up mate! CNC amazing! What do you like better the cnc or the laser?
"Look at all that Pylwood" Lol your greatest line. You got a CNC but can't look past the box without see value. Your the best mate!!!
haha, and I have already turned the pallet in to something. Next video lol
Welcome to the club 🤘🏼
I feel special all ready haha
Coming fully assembled is MASSIVELY APPEALING
I don’t think I emphasised that enough. And tested prior to go in the box. Cheers big man
I'm looking to incorporate the use of CNC in my future woodworking projects. 🤷🏻♂️
Cool mate. I think that will be a good inclusion
@@dainermade Yeah. Thought about CNCing out a repeating pattern onto, say, a piece of crown molding then turning it into a picture frame, for starters. How about you?
So much is happening. First the table saw eviction now the cnc. And the second eviction to the droppy. So much is going on. Can’t wait to see what’s to come
bipolar shed operations lol cheers mate
F*** you Dainsey! You got a laser, so I needed to get a laser. And now this 😮😮. I watched it twice, and now I'm somehow convinced I'll need to get a CNC too 😂😂. It never stops ❤❤. Great video man. Make awesome stuff on that CNC.
Yes, I'm about to hit the replay button myself, and, brlieve me: I'll watch your CNC vids (and all the others) twice, too, Jesper!
And so it will be! I truly believe you need a CNC 🤣
You are the best Tim 🤣 thank you
@dainermade Your generous encouragement is appreciated. Now to just somehow live up to it ...
Hey, thought of you today while using my silicone spatula on some shelf boards I'm gluing up. You WILL be credited in the video one way or another. Cheers again!
@@timstark3312 my claim to fame. A 2 dollar spatula 😆
That looks awesome Dainsey, can't wait to see what you do with it. And if those lovely people fancy sending one over to a guitar building youtube novice like me, send them my way mate... 😂
Too easy mate 😆 and thank you
Well!!!😮😳 Thats not what a expected to stumble across this morning although always nice to see the big hairy spider pop up on my phone in the morning!!😂 Nice video m8 looks mega complicated but man would that make so much difference to my side hustle business. A no they run off g codes but if there's any other files they run off let me no as with the laser files sent you ive them in different formats if theyl work for that m8 just shout! Take it wasy! 🏴👍
Thanks mate, SVG is all good for step one. The G Code is then generated from there to get into the CNC softwares. have a nice day mate
@@dainermade you to m8 take it easy. Well u ken were a am if u need any more format files. 👍🏴
Mentos the fresh maker!
Hash tag not sponsored 😆
if your in EU and buy this from AU expect import taxes added!
Since australia is not in EU, so if the cnc is 2000 euros add 30% + shipping? = 2600 + shipping?
I have nom idea on international shipping
You're gonna need a bigger shed 😁
Indeed, although I made some changes today haha
Time for a new shed...but made out of pallets.😅
CNC pallets. ))
lol, I did make some space today. Sacrifices were made haha
lol, sounds like a bad business idea..im in haha
Look how Woby design he mounted his on the wall to save space
This one does not recommend vertical. I asked 🤣
Hi Dainsy. What specific model did you get please? Bed Size, and work area size? Sorry if you said it someplace and I missed it.
Hi mate, it is the QB2 1000x1000 which is all I could fit lol
Love the content! I have a question, I also live in a place with deadly spiders. How do you keep them at bay? I have family and 3 dogs so I'm scared that whatever I use will hurt them. Any tips?😊
I don’t have a spider problem 😆
Im just here for the Dainer probing
Never go full Dainer probe 😆
@dainermade 😆 oi, just between mates, I really wanted to write combine Dainer with anal probe but couldn't land on a spelling ... Dain-nal probe??? 🤫🤫🤫
Hhmmm… cnc before new table saw? Did I miss something? Nevertheless congrats on your new doodad. Long may it wave.
No, you did not miss something. Ill wait for that video about beast of new table saw.
No 🤣 the saw is still on its way. I hope lol
What kw spindle did you get and did you need to plug into 10a or 15a socket?
It’s a 10a plug, no idea on the kw of the spindle off the top of my head sorry
@@dainermade thanks mate
Ive been itching for a while to get a cnc but really mark is it really this easy or are you alot more cleverer than you pretend to be? Is it their system thats so easy or would it be same with many of the other brands?
I definitely don’t pretend to be less clever 🤣 their software is based on GRBL which seems to be the standard. If you have some basic computer knowledge and find your way around. It all makes sense pretty quickly. I literally just followed their videos step by step. The fact that it was assembled was the big winner for me
@@dainermade ooh nice. I'm gna start looking the possibilities are amazing.
When are you getting your table saw tight freckle
🤣 not long now. Few shipping holdups outside of my control
Welcome to the club Dainsy. I am really curious about what you come up with using your new shiny toy. Mine's been getting a bit of a workout lately, what with Christmas coming. 👍👍🍺
Cheers Chris, I think I’m really going to enjoy this. Had to make a few she’d sacrifices today to make it fit 🤓🤣
Is it Anodised Aluminium?
I don't know lol
Woo hoo. You’re a flash murry now 😂. As someone who is less than comfortable with computery thingamajigs, how was the learning curve ?
Haha! I am indeed
@@dainermade🤦♂️ I edited the comment with a question before I realised you had answered 😂.
The laser didn't stay?
Still here... just on the bench while I figure out the CNC lol
Magenta is that colour mate
I dunno, looks pretty purple to me lol
would have been nice if you stated what the price for cnc was here in oz
It's $5,400 on the website in the description.
They have a huge range now, and I figure people will go and check them out. cheers
Bottom line. What’s the $ for what you have?
He got it sponsored.
Website says from $5,399 so pretty pricey
@@MrNetAble I know it was a freebie but It still has a value.
@@teamvtube Thanks for that. At that price I don’t think I’ll be buying one soon.
There are other companies in Aus making CNCs Blue Carve make a good entry level CNC, the Bluey starting price around $1500.
ANODISED.
I"m four minutes into this and I still don't know.... what the hell's a "CNC"? Computer N-something C-something? Maybe you could have spent 15 seconds explaining up front.
How did you go googling an answer?
The video was hard to watch. The jitter, the overpowering background music, wasn't smooth at all sorry. That is in comparison to your other videos which I enjoy
Ohh, interesting. Sorry to hear that mate
Amazing. Old dog new tricks, Check.🤣
Might have to look at a new shed build. 🏛
I think I solved the space situation today. Said goodbye to another tool haha
no way to spin the fact that all of those C&C are over priced . . .haven't found one yet that's worth the $2K+ they all want for them. . .sad day when you seem to have fallen to the algorithms & 'sponsors' . . .same story every time, a channel gets genuine view base and some corporate turd starts plug'n in all the b.s. they can to squeeze every cent out of the channel . . .cool, if you got this for work or want, but you admitted it was something you weren't in the head space for or about . . . should of been the first red flag. well good luck on the sell out, hope they don't screw you like everyone else they get their claws into . . .pretty sure you'll end up the way others have i used to watch, we'll see. . . only took them three-ish months to turn into something i'd rather not watch. . . here's hoping you dodge that path.
Think you may be over thinking mate. CNC3d is far from a corporate trying to squeeze anything out of me. They’re a small company taking a punt a a person on UA-cam, who is more than happy to help grow their business.
