This show is the cure for depression.
Seriously, his smile is contagious. Whenever I'm feeling down I just watch Yan Can Cook, cheers me up and I also learn something!
    Bless this man.

@Cristian Zahir Wow super sick! I pay for HBO Max and rent whatever is unavailable through GoogleTV myself! Spending a little of my hard earned money to help support film makers through the pandemic and doing so by going to work as to get out of the house has done WONDERS for me during the "lockdown" :D

I watched him in the 80s. I’ve been using my cleaver for everything every since. Love his show. Glad I’m able to watch it again. Thanks for posting these.

The last recipe is Tex-Mex fajitas for two as served in Tex-Mex restaurants in Texas. Except... Yan uses a Chinese style marinade. It might be better.

Substitute for any meat you'd like! Or even mushroom.

Yan l think you are unfair about dumplings you did mention African fufu, or the Caribbean dumplings which is a big part of our cuisine. Try to remember Africa and the Caribbean exist. We also have flour dumplings wish is made with plain flour only
