  • Assembly and Review of the Suito T Trainer. Since I'm laid up with a injury, I bought this trainer to keep in shape. I picked it over the Garmin due to it being more portable, simulates higher slopes and handles more watts for about the same price. See what I think of it!

    Had my Suito t for over a year now, never had a problem with the front wheel block. Superb unit. Well worth the money

    Good Day from Australia. Thank you for your review of this trainer. I am waiting for delivery of mine, which I have also just purchased. Very much appreciate you putting this video together.

      I think you'll like it. Now that I've had mine a few more weeks, I continue to be really impressed on how well it works. It is a little tricky on zwift. It adjusts the power so quickly based on your cadence, you have to really maintain a steady pace. Which is good training.

    Hi there thanks for the review. Do you change gears while riding at all? Or does the trainer do it all for you ?

    • @itdcycling
      @itdcycling  Рік тому

      Both .... depending on what you are doing in the app. I use Zwift, and if I'm doing a "free ride" or race I have to shift gears. The trainer will increase the resistance when you get to hill and you have to shift to get up it, realistically.
      In a "workout" you just put it in a middle gear and leave it. The trainer adjusts the resistance based on the program you're doing

    thanks for the review my friend, bought myself one today and will be my first smart trainer:) Would you recomend swift for a newbie?

      Yes. It's a lot a fun and you can get some really good workouts. It can take a little to get used to, sometimes there's a 1-2 second lag in the workouts for the resistance to kick up. Just be patient and let it do its thing instead of chasing it.

    My MTB is a 7 speed... do I have to switch out to a 7 speed cassette, or can I just ride the cassette it has. My derailleur won't be able to use all 11 speeds, but I'm only going to need about 4 max.

      It may work, the problem will be that the indexing is different. One click on the on the shifter may not move the derailleur the same distance as one gear. You also won't know which seven gears you get, the top, the bottom or the middle. If you're going to spend that much money on a trainer, you can buy it cheap cassette off Amazon to make it work.
