I always came to the conclusion that Horizons takes place post Scarlet and Violet, DLC and all as there are many indicators of results that would happen after you finish the story. Such as Nemona Penny and Arven still close friends which only happen cause you the player brought them together, Geeta mentioning the "Incident" in Area Zero which implies when you and the gang went down there to stop the time machine, Perrin with only one Growlithe cause she gave the player her second one, and Carmine without Kieran by her side cause she's traveling with Briar to do research while Kieran's at Blueberry, where the player probably is at now. Now with all the in mind, that would imply that's where Koraidon is at as well
I'm sure Miraidon will also appear in Horizons, one way or another. The Sun & Moon anime turned Nebby into Solgoleo but they did NOT forsake Lunala. My theory is that following Sada's passing, Area Zero is filled with past paradox pokemon (including Koraidon) but Sada's former partner, Turo returns to Paldea to "inherit" her work. He reactivates the time machine and the first paradox mon he summons is none other than Miraidon!
I think Roy will get Koraidon and Dot will get Miraidon, those two Pokémon are just too perfect for those two characters, I’m pretty sure they even have the same colors lol

i thought during the fight with bombadier we could see arven like the gamesand trying to cure his dog or just twist the story to show arven heading to rea zero with the violet book ( scarlet book is with dot ) and in the games we see encounter the doppelgangeer of our chosen legend maybe the gang will team up with arvena and find befriend miriadon and encounte koraidon ( of course things can go other way around completing eliminating miraidon arc and introduce at the end maybe give a big xyz end )
