Walmart sells heavy-duty tarps. I have 2 of the 10 x 10 sheds and I used the 12 x 24 heavy-duty tarps over the shed. One of the sheds, I have had for over a year now so when I bought the second shed, I bought a replacement tarp for the older shed as well.
Also, I got small clamps from Walmart. They kind of look like bigger, plastic clothespins and are sold in the same section as the wooden clothespins to hold the front and back sections down. I folded the end under the shed tarp and then just clamped the outer tarp in place. It looks neater but more importantly, it helps to keep the weather out a bit more.
I just purchased one of these garages . Just curious why you didn’t go with the real heavy duty tarp at HF ? I believe they are black on one side and gray the other ? I also will be using 2x4 but I will be going with a 20 foot straight piece . Thinking of adding wheels under 2x4 to make it mobile . I believe HF sells heavy duty wheels .
at the time they didn't sell the 12 mil black/gray tarps. Also my garages are in the shadow of trees so UV is less of a problem and the 4 mil ones are fine, and super cheap. the 12 mil ones are $ though so wait until 20-25% off sales. Also the 12x20 may not hang quite far enough down the sides for your liking. But yeah, it is certainly worth trying out. The wheels are a good addition, of course. Would probably need at least a couple of them to be locking style. also, careful of trying single 20 footer. the vertical supports at the corners curl in and so they will not align with the 2 interior supports on each side without pulling them in a bit, losing some footprint in the middle. anyways, good luck.
thing is , none of them are actually heavy duty lol .. either way, the uv will eat each one of them up over time .. I guess u can say they're heavy duty depending on weather. the heavy duty just costs more .. blue the cheapest and u can just get away with just replacing it .. maybe some RAIN X SPRAY would help as well I guess .. I just got one of these storages so . .its a learning process. .
I don't know about late model black oxide drill bit index's from Harbor Freight, but the earlier ones are FAR superior to the Titanium Oxide coated ones. They pretty much suck. My black oxide sets are treasures and I snap them up when I see nice used sets. Haven't tried a modern one.
As well as you might think :) not well. I've gotten six inches in a night and it was fine. Just use a push broom to pull the snow off. But more would likely be bad. Cheers
yup harbor freight is the shxt ! lol for small projects .. I bought blue too .. I never seen white tarp besides like for freight that comes in at warehouse stock or something. . @@weekendworrier3513

yep that is an option too. good luck with your sheds.

yeah the harbor freight ones do kinda suck.
Is the boards on both sides and are they full length?
4 boards, not full length. need 4 6 footers or so
How well will it stand up to 4 feet of snow on top?

@@weekendworrier3513 So far 3 feet has fallen. 01-02 over 8 feet.
A white tarp over the portable garage would reflect the sunlight and probably last longer than the blue tarp.
agree. just found the a low cost tarp for 19x19 at harbor freight. could look elsewhere for a white one.
