You have a spontaneity and openness that makes it fun to watch you listen and react. You get amused, you imitate things in the video, you INTERACT with it. These are the "garnishes" that differentiate you from other reactors, some of whom just sit there nodding until the song is done, or worse---talk and mug all the way through it, thereby missing key moments (the worst is when they spend 40 seconds going "where have I heard this before? This sounds familiar .It could have been a cover....but I know I've heard it....was it in Shrek?") Finally, in your wrap up at the end, you take everything into account--songwriting, vocals, instrumentation, the performers & the film-makers, and the backstories behind these songs/images. You also have a positive upbeat energy which functions as a natural mood elevator, so definitely keep going!

I like this as one of the best ABBA Videos, because for once, they are catering also for us women, in that they show close ups of the guys too, who are really also VERY handsome! We don’t usually get to see much of them in their Videos, as it’s usually all about the girls catering for the guys to watch! The Song is about those men who we are invisible to; there are guys out there that we like and we can sometimes literally THROW ourselves at their feet - but they still don’t see us... Men seem to forget that we have to be attracted to them too - otherwise the sexual act would be pretty gruesome for us... (not sure they ever think about that...) LOL Great Review of this great Song. EAGLE(that majestic prog gem) has a fantastic fan made video for the glorious ultimate album version (5 plus min)that do justice as opposed to the official but brutally chopped one in which ABBA were kinda 'forced' to do it in order to be more radio friendly etc/etc/etc...The video can be found in Weisskatzen channel(whitecat) and has a fantastic editing also featuring bits from 'Abba The Movie"(the elevator scene). It starts with the airplane scene from 'The Movie" when Abba took off for their '77 electric tour Downunder.

Oh okay. I'm sure everyone would still like to see your comments and reaction to the video anyway though, if you wanted to do it - or maybe even the live Wembley concert performance.
Great song. Love me some ABBA. But Agnetha and Frida are both lead singers. Try Fernando Money Money Money, Our Last Summer, Adante Adante, Name Of The Game
This comes from ABBA The Album. Bjorn and Benny were approaching the height of their powers. This is so beautifully and cleverly constructed. The whole thing, melody wise is built from the rhythm of the line: "If you change your mind." But then, ABBA were always a very sophisticated outfit. Worth checking out the Erasure version of this song, which is a great homage! 😉😉
Came to the comments expecting you to be crucified for calling Agnetha the lead singer. There are plenty of Frida-led songs by the way. Try Money Money Money, or from their recent album I Still Have Faith in You.
Don't confuse us with the Agnetha fanatics. There are comment sections that have been closed because of them and their disgusting behaviour towards Frida... We Frida fans don't crucify anyone. We are just clarifying the truth. And by the way he didn't call Agnetha the lead singer as if she is the only one. He said 'The lead singer who is blonde', so it's clear that there is another lead singer otherwise he wouldn't have had to mention the hair colour.
I've looked into Lasse's work, and he made one of the saddest movies I've ever seen as a kid called "Hachi". I didn't realize it would be as sad as it was...
Once you've covered a few more of their amazing hits, you have to see "Mamma Mia" with Meryl Streep. Benny and Bjorn helped shoehorn every major ABBA hit into a coherent movie. Cher (who appears in "Mamma Mia 2") subsequently recorded an ABBA tribute album. And just for laughs, do YOURSELF a favor and watch this video by the pop duo Erasure (who also have a lot of cool hits). This is from their 1992 "ABBA-esque" album and I think you'll love this cover/video of this very song. Be sure to let me know what you think! ua-cam.com/video/L-d4J3YUQmU/v-deo.html
That's a reaction idea, the movie Mamma Mia would probably fit nicely here on the channel with all the ABBA viewers. And I'll check that out when I get the time thanks!
@@SWLinPHX OMG, I was really caught off guard cause I thought he got the lead singers THEMSELVES to join in for the music video, but it was just two men dressed as them 😂 It's not something I'd personally listen to, but I can really appreciate Andy's sense of humor and the fun he had with that cover.
@@DanCanReact Yes, they play themselves and their female counterparts. Their ABBA-esque album helped revive interest in ABBA in the 1990s, much as Mamma Mia! (musical & movie) did in the 2010s. Otherwise I don't think as many Gen Z'ers would be into or aware of them.
AHAHA someone did in the comments, but then someone else sent me a video of Agnetha pronouncing her own name in an interview (don't remember which commenter now) before a show in Japan, so that's how I got it down

"Take a chance on me" (1978)
is one of their best ABBA hits in all the world,
the most selling song of ABBA in U.S. (more than Dancing Queen),
#3 in Billboard U.S.
one of their four Top10 in US :
#6 Waterloo (1974)
#1 Dancing Queen (1977)
#3 Take a chance on me (1978)
#8 The winner takes it all (1981)
This is one of few song than the vocals are more extensive than the music
(They begin 'a capela' and singing at the end)
the blonde singer Agnetha is the lead vocal in the solo verses, her voice is so powerful,
in perfect armonies and chorus with the brunette Anni Frid in co-leads vocal
(and the boys in back voices singing repetitive the frase 'take a chance, chance')
Agnetha & Anni Frid have fantastic voices and harmonies together
Agnetha is soprano
Anni Frid 'Frida' is mezzo soprano
and together made a 'third voice'
the guitarist Björn got the idea while jogging,
by the sound of the footsteps he interpreted t-k-t t-kt
and adapted it to
"take a chance, chance, take a chance",
so the song was born
Although it is a disco europop, it's like a constant and happy march, captivating, cloying, addictive

I still say that Boy George stole his dance moves from Frida.
lol!He once diod a cover with Culture Club to Abba's 'Voulez Vous".Pretty peculiar but very good, the CC way.
also grab some Olivia Newton-John songs. too
Great song. Love me some ABBA. But Agnetha and Frida are both lead singers. Try Fernando Money Money Money, Our Last Summer, Adante Adante, Name Of The Game
I've heard Fernando but the rest I haven't, thanks for recommending me them!
Have to agree it s a BIT unusual,we re used to see Benny & Bjorn playing their instruments.
True that!
Why is Agnetha popping up from off screen?
Because you know you want it.
Ahahah 😁
@@DanCanReact ha!ha!Well She's a charmer and knows how to seduce you.Frida is more of a straight shooter,lol!

Listen to ABBA - SOS (Official Music Video).
That's the next ABBA song I plan to listen to😁
Agnetha uses her Tongue when singing - "TongueNetha"= Agnetha.
Björn does Earn Money - "BjEarn" = Björn
Ok? Easy right?
Trust Me - I'm Swedish! 😅
Ay, love having Sweeds watching my ABBA reactions, thanks for watching and for explaining!!
react to The Visitors also by ABBA
Thanks for the recommendation brother!
Genuinely a great song, glad I reacted to it.
Psalm 35:19 Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: neither let them WINK with the eye that hate me without a cause.
😉
Came to the comments expecting you to be crucified for calling Agnetha the lead singer. There are plenty of Frida-led songs by the way. Try Money Money Money, or from their recent album I Still Have Faith in You.
I meant to say one of the lead singers, but yeah, thanks for the correction regardless! Appreciate you watching and thanks for the recommendations 😁
This is a little embarrassing to say for me but I am using this on my gym workout playlist
Take a Chance On Me? Don't be embarrassed. I use songs that are not typically for the gym, at the gym. It's all about what pumps you up!
@ you’re right Dan the Man, I listen to the Carpeters also at gym works for me
It's spelled Agnetha but pronouced Angneta.
It's not, It's Agneta.
Thanks!
@@VidarLund-k5q No, zpitzer is right, Agnetha herself pronounces it that way. Watch the video where she tells us the correct pronunciation.
Alle Videos und der Spielfilm ABBA the Movie wurden von Lasse Hallström produziert. Schau mal nach wer das heute ist.
@@DanCanReact Okay, just check out the link I sent above even for 10 seconds and you'll understand what I mean. 👍🏻
The reggae/rap breakdown at the end of the song is a cool modern touch I thought.
You pronounced it right Dan. It's almost like *someone* spelled it out for you phonetically or something.
AHAHA someone did in the comments, but then someone else sent me a video of Agnetha pronouncing her own name in an interview (don't remember which commenter now) before a show in Japan, so that's how I got it down
That pronunciation is correct. ahg-NYET-ah. The g is so soft, it's barely heard.
I'm glad I got it right, thanks!
