The child snatcher reminds me of a case at my school where a man in a red van would try to get the kids to leave the playground by playing with dolls and calling over. Spooky
There was a weird one in the 1990s where 3 toddlers were playing in a back garden and a woman tried to pull one of them over the fence, the other two toddlers clung on to her legs. Surreal.
@@ajs41 Yes I think so Andrew! Inless you include Still Unsolved and Solved it the September 2001 episode only aired on the 27th although BBC Gnome list it twice that month! It was usually just once a month! November 2001 being the execption of two.
@@ryanohara476 They certainly made life more difficult for people like us when they started to do it! Before that you could just assume that if you had May 1996, for example, you wouldn't have to check for another one from the same month.
@@ajs41 Agreed Andrew! At least we now know that June 1989 was a phantom episode that was never produced recorded made or transmitted! I am actually surprised that every episode with no gaps from the inception of June 1984 all the way thriugh until December 1991. The little BBC jingle at the beginning with the hot air balloon, Takes me back to much simpler happier times. Thanks for another unseen CW episode 😀
I'm the same, seems odd to feel nostalgia about a crime program but I do
Well 23 years ago was a long time ago and maybe they were simpler times.
Heart beat Sunday 9pm 😂
Pre Eastern European Britain.

Cheers for uploading these. Great to see lots of classic Crimewatch appear on here just recently. Thank you 👍👍👍
Absolutely heartbreaking seeing Marion Crofts parents - thankfully the police got the bastard

Diana rigg also received letters
Complete weirdo, apparently a 72 year old man from Wigan was arrested as per the update in next month’s episode
Doesn’t look like they ever caught who it was. The man arrested following this CW appeal was cleared when his dna didn’t match saliva on the stamps.
20:07 Filmed in a very 'old school' 1980s Crimewatch style that bit!

There were two episodes of Crimewatch UK that were aired in November 2001. Thu 8 November 2001 and Wed 28 November 2001 (the second is already here)
I've got the 8th November 2001.
Was that month the first month where they aired more than one episode?
