After Dan reviewed two Tori vids, Karen shorts and Magic by Olivia, she saw the Karen vid and replied and he offered her some music suggestions, and somehow they went on to connect accross the pond, and they did a duet of Impossible sung by Karen as a tribute to Perry Como. Karen did one verse, and Dan and Tori reimagined the whole song, and a collaboration was born
Hi Tazzz, Nice reaction is always with great comments. Dan is a very talented producer and musician. And I thought his vocals harmonized perfectly with those of Tori. In a production like this, everyone has their role. Tori of course has a timeless voice which I think is up there with the greats like Karen, Olivia, Linda Ronstadt, and others of the same caliber. I know I'm looking forward to more from her.

i have a couple of Cliff Richards records from england. he is a tough listen as he sings just a little flat to me. Dan sings this spot on. i follow both Tori and Dan
Actually, if you listen to the original, Olivia stole the show, while singing with Cliff Richard. Thing about Dan is he's a brilliant musician and producer, playing all those instruments, but first transcribing the sounds into the correct chord progressions, modulations, etc. This is not a normal verse-chorus creation, as John Farrar (the composer) doesn't seem to want to keep anything in a certain key, which I think makes the song listenable repeatedly. About Tori, she could sing with no backing instruments; she's a captivating, beautiful singer.
Hi Tazzz, Thanks for your honest reaction, I’ll brace Dan for him coming in second to Tori. BTW he’s in England, so maybe one of his Dans musicians moved to Canada? You didn’t mention but that was Tori on the acoustic guitar. This is her first full length video on an instrument, lots of short videos have her playing guitars and piano. She does a little drums, too. But not on video yet. Dans were all the other musicians. He also produced this. This was there second colab, I chose this first as it’s very new. I wanted to give you a non-Carpenters cover. You be good and I’ll be back… Joe
Hi, Joe. You are very welcome. Always honest here. I honestly didnt recall that I never saw Tori play an instrument...so, it went right over my head. I was just so encapsulated in her timeless voice, yet again. What a joy.
