I was intrigued with the virus' name because "Hubad", when translated to English means "naked". Also the place of origin where the virus was created "Eastern Samar" (seen at around 5:09 in the video), is a specific region in the Philippines.

ASCII naked woman has invaded your print
The thought of someone using that printed out, misaligned version of the already questionable ascii art for "personal" purposes in the 90's is hilarious to me. The old days of waiting for a single jpg to peel down the screen is not forgotten.
This is older than the 90s, I saw this image once in a collection of classic BASIC games and entertainment programs for the TRS-80. People were printing this out from their Tandy.

You did use a printer with the Magold worm, took me a while to remember which worm it was.
Is your printer an Oki ML-186 by any chance? I have one of those, and it does work with the ML-184 driver, but it's by no means from 1986 -- mine has a USB port.
To be extra dan super-nerd about it, he did say a *physical* old computer, whereas I believe Magold was run off a VM and attached to a printer through the host machine. Unless there's one much farther back I don't remember, I don't think Magold counts

Unfortunately the people who are making the actual polymorphic viruses that directly change how they do things with each infection are probably doing it for state actors or organized crime rather than silly Win9x viruses... not good material for a danooct1 video but still interesting.
if he could get his hands on the Simile (MetaPHOR) virus. the first truly metamorphic virus (even the payload text changes capitalization). or Winux, the first Windows-Linux virus. it would be good.
Hey Dan, I just want to say thank you for taking the time to caption all of your videos in great detail. It's very rare you find a channel with quality content each and every time, but it's another thing to find a channel with considerate and attentive content. Oras, Eastern Samar is actually a lovely little town, although rather poor. Actually, of all people living in small Filipino towns, you'd never think that a virus writer could be among them, and computer technology was far less prevalent in the Philippine countryside in the 90s than it is today. The writer could have been from a rather affluent background - I hope he has a high-paying job in software development now :D

I don't know if somebody already mentioned it, but the "Print"-Routine has an error. When the "Woman"-Text is printed, and the original Text of the document is shown, the first Character is missing.
The first Word went from "This" -> "his" -> "is". So if you print this often enough, the document would be empty.

Some of these matrix dot printers refuse to die. My workplace has one of those, the OKI ML3320, bought over two decades ago, regularly used and still working up to this day.
