@@JuniorBoiiGameZ Techland hasn't confirmed GUI-Script-Texture-Animation modding will be supported. So the only thing that's guaranteed is the map and the story, for now.

Techland should use the Tencent money to recruit those modders. Excellent work. 👍🏻 I wish Techland had cut out Old Villedor and not Elysium. 😕 whoever has designed multifaceted Elysium is a top guy

Old Villedor is the smaller version of Elysium. From where I standing it would be expand the central loop and Elysium map to make things right.
I feel I am not the only one about Old Villedor being so flat and boring ?

Man this map has so much variety and different obstacles. I miss it from the main game.

@@Dar1usz But the way they are put makes it feel much better. Same as DL1, everything was the same, but they made the map in such a way that it always felt different.
In DL2 after 700 hours I still can't tell where I am without looking at the map, everything looks and feels the exact same, no variety.
@@Dar1usz Nothing wrong with me on this one, many people have the same problem. Show me a random building or interior in DL2 and I won't have a single clue which one of them it is. For example Carriers side missons makes you visit the same exact interior and knock on the same exact door so many times it's funny. Every coffee shop is the same, every dark zone is the same and repetitive. It only shows that the whole map is copy and paste with some exceptions. DL1 had much more specific looking places, and you cannot convince me otherwise.
@@jerzyk7724Dying Light 2 does sometimes have different interiors, they where on a time crunch because people where upset at the game not releasing and Chris Avellone was framed and has to be removed because of social media and it being a pain.
@@joshuabarger1215 I know, but sometimes it's not enough. DL1 had all 8 quarantine zones with each having different interior, meanwhile DL2's GRE places look almost all the same.
This already looks miles better than anything in the main game. The level of complexity, variation in models, building, tone, and design is already superior. Old Villedor is just 5 different buildings with the same height put next to one another and that's it. Shame it will never get to the main game. Even if Techland would just put the Elysium models and swap them with some of the buildings in old Villedor for more variety.

The return of this iconic map from E3 is great. In fact, now I see that it was suitable for an aiden without super jumps.

I too was surprised to see this.
It is insane to see what are some people capable of. Shows how much a game could really look if the right people worked on it. The Elysium looks so good I can not wait to play it, hope there will be quests too.

i feel like we might eventually see some sort of dl2 "redux" whether that would be an official partnership with techland and the modders or a standalone fanmade experience, considering how polished this map looks already.

Armor system sucked. They shouldve gone with dl1 outfit system like Pilgrim outfit, E3 2018 outfit, 2019 outfit etc.

I gotta admit, this had me thinking this was the actual E3 2018 gameplay they showed us as this looks so good!
Yup its super detailed.
I loved the look of the public hanging they recreated. What killed this game for me is the lifeless feeling of the city, any non scripted npc interaction is painfully awful. Even the scripted ones. For example when you stop that lady’s husband from drinking the poisoned water, you just walk into their house and she doesn’t acknowledge that some stranger just barged in and has a casual conversation with you. I don’t need it to be read dead 2 quality but god damn that’s the opposite of immersion.

Seriously this is better than anything TECHLAND gave us with the retail dying light 2, also I wonder if they’ll attempt to recreate the background city no one talks about. I wish someone would try to recreate the e3 sunken city, I love the concept of a sinking or underwater city in general

The background city is called downtown. Currently not much is known about it but it's buildings found in files are crazy. It's like the Dubai of Europe.
But currently we are only focusing on restoring Elyseum since downtown will be a whole other region.

Man If Techland decides to just make 3rd dlc with Elyseum, all the good cut content, a good lenght and an actual good story in it they would sell so many copies of it, they would make more money with that than the bundles they're trying to sell and they would get more good reputation, but i honestly dont think that is going to happen

I wish the peacekeepers would stay the same in the 2018 E3 with the light blue armour instead of the dark black armour they used
This look insane! Those far jumps on 3:33 also look waaaaay better than they are in the game right now. Looks so much more natural. I really hope they will bring Elysium back in a future DLC. And that they make some more parkour changes to make it feel more natural.
The players are more competent then the devs

Honestly, i would spend 30 dollars for an elysium map and story that is separate, like bloody ties, just not as bad
Since these guys are also making a story for this map, you can expect it to be better than retail game or DLC1.
Honestly, this makes me want to cry. This is the DL2 we could’ve/should’ve gotten. As someone who first played Dying Light back in 2015, I can honestly say it’s my favorite game of all time & it has a place in my heart. Then when we saw the trailers for DL2 in 2018, & the story sounded promising & the map looked amazing. As a fan or better yet lover of Dying Light, I felt on top of the world. If only we had known what we were in for when DL2 launched. If only I had known…

If you have survivors controlling the water tower settlement at Lower Dam Ayre, at the top of the tower two survivors have a conversation about needing to go to Elyseum to find some spare parts that they need for the pump, because the PK blacksmith would not agree to help make the parts, and they mention how dangerous it would be to do. That would be a really cool mission.

If you take the pulley down in daylight, and walk to the craftmaster you'll also hear a couple of women (sitting on crates) complaining: one complains that her residence is flooded, and another says that it would be fixed if either of the two people working on the pump knew what they were doing. Sometimes they talk about fountains or boyfriends etc instead. But the pump dialogue about Elyseum repeats whether it's day or night. (Thank you for all the amazing videos!) @@BestGamerAli

Watch when ever consoles and others get community everyone has to spend 20$ for the community maps to be accessible but you have to buy tokens for 6$ just to unlock a map and techland has just been waiting for a opportunity like this

Yeah that was good but it only worked in some locations.
@@BestGamerAli still it was nice i liked the faster kick and i don't like that slow animation kick when you do it from the monkey bar i mean its good its not bad sometimes its surely satsifying but its not as good as the e3 2018 or e3 2019 kick that was so good for that same moment and it was also much faster and with no slow motion i think

One question what happened to the peacekeepers shields? in the trailer in 2019 they had shields right now today they don’t have shields, and the only shield item we have is the one from the bloody ties dlc

My question is, why in the world would they cut the content? What was at E3 and what was released look like 2 completely different games. This is why pre-ordering games doesn't make sense.
No idea why they would remove something this beautiful
I wished not just Elysium stayed in the final game, but also the old "modern dark ages" tehem (All that stuff with humanity downgrading into a neo-feudal lifestyle, with little-to-no hopes for a brighter future becasue of how much the THV destroyed civilization)
But i suppose all of this got affected becasue of the amount of Techland employees that quit or were fired.

They made it from scratch.
I still hope elysium and the castle will become a thing eventually, with the latest updates and fixes my hopes rise a little for a DLC.

Buddy just wanted to know if U know why some blueprints don't appear but the count keeps on going up 2 50 because I only found 50 out of 70 blueprints can U explain why are they not appearing in the Craftmasters.

I find the best way to enjoy dying light 2 is to get the Overwhelming chased mod, High density zombies mod, Parkour flow mod, Just ragdoll mod, and better dismember and gore mod. It basically improves everything currently wrong with the game at this moment that should be in the regular game

I’m really struggling with trying to like DL2 after playing DL1 it’s difficult to prefer one over the other due to them having different things that are unique. However I don’t know if I should keep playing DL2 but I also want to play it. My brain is weird.

It means techland wasn't lying when they said the graphics were not really downgraded. The overall lighting and colours in the world are jusr alot brighter
