I urge to rewatch the starting history lesson video when you launch the game and start calling out Techland on their bullshit and lore confusion. The fate of Kyle Crane is still unknown or just abandoned all togeather, he didn't start the "The Fall", it was a new strain of Harran virus secretly developed by the GRE, all the DL1 endings, the sentient volatiles, the mist all abandoned in the development hell or just rewrited by the new writers to fit a new game, where they came up with chemical bombing plot to create more special infected for us to fight.
I mean if Crane is the night hunter, it would make sense that the GRE would want to keep him alive. Having most of the Harran mutations rolled into one subject would make him a prime research avenue for studying the virus.

Im definitely down for Crane to be back in the game.. especially after just finding the Crane memorial in DL2. They def should of kept this about Crane alive in DL2.. I dont get why they cut it out.. but all of this is def exciting 😀👍

@@BestGamerAli As we both know it all depends on how him being legit back in the game is pulled off. I definitely DO NOT want Crane to make a return in DL3 as some kinda super huge bad guy. As far as Crane returning sometime during a DL2 dlc that would be cool. Especially if DL2 ever has a huge dlc like the original DL had the Following which essentially was a huge expand of the game. Almost another game all together. But like you explained in your video.. if we at least got some info in the game on what Crane has been up to or what has been happening to him after the ending of DL would be cool. Anything else after that would be a bonus. I'm super emotionally invested in DL and the games have been my favorite gaming experiences everrrrr. I remember how I kinda got emotional seeing the Crane memorial and it further reminded me how much these games mean to me. Anyways thanks Ganer Ali.. I been a fan of your page for about two years. There's actually a container hanging in DL2 in one of Bandit Outposts and if you enter that there's a drawing of Gazi and Crane together and also some tape that has Gazi's and Crane's dialogue. After listening that all you get a blueprint

We all knew Kyle Crane would come back in the main game or DLC.
I bet he will make a appearance in the last DLC for the game, and maybe be the antagonist or ally for Dying Light 3.
Kind of like how we see Spike in the opening of Dying Light 2, we could play as Aiden who is being mentored on his mutations by Crane in the beginning of Dying Light 3.

It’s not that hard lmao they just changed the dlc story so they could definitely do it for the main story like destiny has done several times
The mist in the Following was basically a prototype to the mist in the comics that caused the mutations. Originally, turning them into monsters basically perhaps Sentient Volatiles but after the experiments on Kyle Crane that it was unpredictable considering how Crane has been exposed to multiple strains and his very DNA and who knows what else they did to him perhaps even more mutations. This is just what I think but I have other theories too.

Counting that Night Hunter is technically a mutated Volatile, and that GRE was most likely using Crane as a test subject, it is very possible that he may've evolved from Sentient Volatile into Night Hunter as a result of experiments.

@@dapperdamon9315 Keep in mind that GRE could've learned how zombies work in DL's universe, so they could've easily used UV lights to bring Crane back into sentience, making him loose his abilities and heavily weaken him.

I would like to see Crane and Aiden work with one another. But I also kinda want to see a fight between the two of them. Aiden's Volatile mode vs Volatile [or Night Hunter] Crane.
Maybe they fight first not knowing who their enemy is and then work together later.
I don't know about the fight between the two of them, Prototype 2 did it already tho so It would be seen as a cliche plot
@@klbaryo09 hardly considered cliche just because Prototype 2 did it lol, those were largely unrecognized games albeit pretty fun. That trope is more attributed to 90s-early 2000s franchises when villains stopped becoming such one-note characters, and a byproduct of that was turning some good guys into villains because they already had compelling narratives
I personally feel Kyle Crane will return in the future but sadly I can’t control if he does. I just think it would be so cool if we could play both Aiden and Kyle in a mission or Kyle could be playable in a segment. Sadly this won’t happen but it would be cool

Either something like everyone is talking about a new pilgrim coming to the city which is Crane coming for something to do with the GRE or everyone is talking about some new volatile that's been lurking about, which is the night hunter, and they asked Aiden to hunt it down, only for him to discover Crane, then the two maybe team up for something.
Technically Kyle Crane *is* playable if you did the event that Techland put out, as well as Reis and Rahim. But I know what you mean.

The only issue I think I have with this is that it wouldn't have been just Crane spreading the virus at the end of the Following; Spike also clearly made it out, along with at least some survivors from Harran, at least some of which were infected, as did the politician who was bitten and had his leg cut off.
It's also all but a guarantee that some infected managed to get out before the wall was completed, because the walls we saw in The Following would've taken weeks to build, and there's even zombies on the opposite end of the blown-up bridge leading out of Harran. Add all this together with the antizen being phased out in-game, and probably impossible to get outside of Harran, and the virus being spread by more than just Crane is all but a guarantee.
Does this mean you're wrong about him spreading it too? Of course not, if he survived he definitely would have. I'm just pointing out that Crane probably wasn't the only one doing so, and certainly wouldn't have been the first. It just would have been a slower spread, given what we saw of the area surrounding Harran (very rural farmland with only small villas and towns)
Yup there are others who spread the virus too but Crane was the first one to do that.
this is what the devs said.
Either the 2nd dlc will be the unflooding of the Newfoundland lands( those buildings are too parkour detailed underwater) or the elypsum that is far away to the right of old Villedor but north east of the central loop. The Elypsum I’m talking about is basically most of the city that was shown in the e3 trailer!
Nah, the flooded Newfoundland can be drained if you decide to turn on the pumps at the end of the game, and Elyseum was just a demo Techland cobbled together using mostly altered assets from DL1, with maybe a handful of new ones.
Plus, they've already revealed that the 2nd DLC will be set outside Villedor in a small town that's half flooded

I know the sentient volitile and hunter are different but I like the idea that crane is a hunter as he was so strong and agile which makes sense for his mutation also that loses control at night and is sentient hidden away in somewhere dark would be cool to find his cave or lair where his surviving

Be nice to see Crane again, but I'm almost certain that he'd be the villain for whatever they were doing. Doubt the years have been kind to him in terms of dealing with a Jekyll/Hyde split like that - human outlook during the day (possibly even more empathetic and such than he was before, if the Mother was any indication) and pure virus-driven murder machine by night. Might even be fighting against himself. His night persona setting up hives of Volatiles and such, and his day persona burning them out.
What i think could happen is Aiden might see Crane as a bad guy because of what he turns into during night.
but then later finds out Crane is a good guy and then they both fight the real villain.
maybe a Crazy GRE leader or scientist that uses a serum to make something more scary than crane.
It would be so cool if the dlc focuses on how both crane and aiden feel trap because of their new nature

hello ali, I hope for a return of Crane, but I think that if it ever happens it's only because they want to try to revive DL2 in every sense, bringing back the protagonist of DL1. I expect many good things on Thursday, obviously I will be happy if crane returns, but the way they behaved were not very consistent with the history of the two games
I mean they originally had this planned but changed thier mind.

I definitely don't want him as a bad guy either, his will was strong and he full wanted to do good, if anything and he is part sentient volatile or such I want him to beat the monster within.
This is one of my favourite theory, Kyle Crane being a sentient volatiles leads a faction of sentient beings.

I have a good theory that in the DLC that might come out... in the DLC, After Aiden discovers Walts file and hearing about Kyle Crane he remembers Spike mentioning his name and goes to find him ask about how he knows his name and how he was connected to him in the past leading Aiden to be more curious about what happened to him and looking for leads to find him and learn his story before and after the following DLC like I said this is my thoughts that got to me. and to Best Gamer Ali thank you for showing us what could potentially happen in the future of a possible DLC keep up the good work and thanks for reading my thoughts about what could potentially lead to become our new DLC

Hey brother, the voices are 100% Ai made & i even mentioned it at 1:00
I think you missed it because like i said in the video the only think dataminers found was dialogues which are simple plain text & i didnt want to show just plane text on screen because that would be boring, So for the immersion i used an Ai voice.

I said the audio you are gonna hear is made using an ai for immersion.
The cut content were dialogues which are simple texts that were datamined.
so i instead of only showing plain texts on screen, used an ai to voice it.

That video clip is LAWAN when she is searching the orphanage database near the end of the game with Waltz reskinned over it. as for the voice clip it is probably just AI generated

It would be interesting if Aiden and Kyle Crane met in subsequent DLC or Dying Light 3. Crane is the leader of Senteint Volatiles and he is Night Hunter, who lives with his own Faction to avoid harming humans. Aiden is not a Volatile right now, but his last as an infected person will also be dangerous. The two main characters of the game meet at some point, and they work together to find a way to save this world.
I wouldn't be suprised if they cut this out to put it in the 2nd dlc

i mean we only see cranes hands at the end of the following i forgot if that ending is canon but should be and the hands look similar to volatile hands BUT kyle was still thinking on his own so he either became a sentient volatile or the night hunter and face of night hunter looks lil similar to crane

they made a poll saying for the dying light 3 saying who do you want to play as: A GRE agent (turned good), a pilgrim, or a regular citizen so maybe the GRE gent it Kyle and the pilgrim could be Aiden.

One thing I dont think a lot of people think about is that kyle maybe just infected the uninfected side of harran cuz the City was Split in 2 and maybe kill only got that other side and they got another Wall up I mean thats not unlikely
