Brecken really seems like the type of guy to survive, he was a leader in the first game and clearly has strong abilities. I'm hoping we see him again.

@@AS-ym2bp counting that he was 52 during the first game(2015, his age is confirmed by one of the npcs that randomly appear near the tower entrance) and that dying light 2 happens atleast 15 years after the first game, he would be really close to 70, if not older.
@@AS-ym2bp you can meet an npc at the tower that mentions spike being 50 years old and since the 1st game takes place during 2014 and the second takes place in 2036 that would make spike 72
Its weird that the second we get to Old Town he's just written off the story. He's not even mentioned later. Would like to see him back.

@@padmeamidala5649ezgi probably turned to a volatile taking into consideration she was exposed to the same chemicals Kyle was but in a more slow phase or maybe she is just fine smashing with other girls
if breckens alive, he'd either be a nightrunner or another pilgrim. I think it'd make sense for him to come back as a pilgrim since the DLC starts with aiden wandering the world again, and it'd be really interesting to see him on the same level as you. I think maybe you meet him early on in the DLC and he teaches you about crane, and then you both find crane later on as a sentient volatile. also another thing I was thinking, I think they definitely brought crane back especially since he's a sentient volatile they're probably not really gonna need roger craig smith as the voice actor... lol
Both ideas are sooo good. He's capable enough to be a Nightrunner cuz with so much strength and stamina he's probably strong enough to survive the first injection. And otherwise he can be a pilgrim like Spike but i'd be cool if Spike atleast mentioned him. I'd like to think he becomes a Nightrunner and helping as a way to cope with abandoning The Tower.
I have never forgotten brecken or other dying light characters and never will. They are too memorable and lovable to me for them to be forgotten

Tolga and Fatin are confirmed alive at the very least. I would love for Brecken and Lena to be alive and together, but it's unlikely that both of them would've made it out, though Spike's in his 70s and still kicking as a Pilgrim so who knows...
Yes tolga and fatin are confirmed alive because we had a conversation with them on radio plus they have wanted posters of them.
Also they did escape harran unlike the other survivors.
Brecken was definitely alive, atleast during the first game after Ferry station.
In old town, after saving the kid of the dude that we gave gun to in the Tower(don't really remember his name) in that safezone where a guy with traumatized child sits(that guy was museum's curator or smth) you may find a woman, who will mention Crane saving the child and that Brecken(!) sent a messanger for him. That means he's definitely alive during the main campaign.

It would be cool if the brothers Tolga and Fatin also return, where Aiden could help them assemble some kind of cool car that would travel long distances and destroy all the infected in its path.
Tolga and Fatin are alive, so I wouldn't be surprised if we saw them again, it'd be cool to work with them like we did as Crane

Unfortunately, it is very likely that Lena is dead. On the last mission on the Following DLC, we can get a rare call from Lena saying "We're going to lose another floor soon". It is possible that she was killed by the infected

Well he`s almost as tough as Kyle Crane and most importantly a parkour instructor so yeah the chances of HIM being alive is pretty high
i wonder what does harran looks like after the fall or will we ever come back to it again in future DL content
He's not even half as tough as Crane, he couldn't even recover from one wound the whole game where Crane saved everyone while being infected

Like he was really the most forgettable character in DL1, in fact he was so forgettable that even Techland forgot about him halfway through the game!

If brecken does return in the next dlc it would make sense if he was hunting down Kyle crane because of the letter saying he gave everyone false hope

I find it interesting that in dying light 2 have posters of the people in dying light 1.and to see if brekon is still alive,it would be soooooooo surprising to atleast see one of are best characters from dying light 1.im not sure if we gonna see crane in dlc2 meaning that if us being aiden now gonna be crane ,it would epic and i guess i can see them teaming up since they both infected.but crane would probably look a little old
I'd love for DLC 2 to involve Spike getting notice that a group of survivors near Villedore need help, and he sends Aiden. When you get there, it's a group of survivors lead by Brecken which involves all the people who have photos up in the Bazaar, and then you bring them back to Villedore. That'd be awesome

that would be few bugs fixes i guess, what exactly do u wanna see ?
Tolga and Fatin die, if you do the side missions in the DLC the following you will eventually help them gather materials for a rocket train in exchange for a military decoder to open military grade caches. After you finish helping them for the last time they fire up the rocket train and smash into the barricade in the train tunnel at the bottom of "the following" map. They both die as you see scrap metal and other train parts sticking out from the wreckage. Crane pays his respects immediately, and he mentions their deaths to Jasir.
In my opinion, Lena and Alfie had to manage the survival of the Tower alone, they desperately waited for Kyle to return. Brecken, for his part, certainly managed to leave Harran, but the city was put in total quarantine and he never knew how to return there to save them. As the GRE stopped all Antizin landings and food rations decreased, they all died of starvation.
Hear me out. What if Crane put up those posters? All of those guys were friends of Crane. Assuming he didn't turn into a night hunter he could still have a humanoid form, allowing him to sneak into the bazaar

Crane couldn't. He was kept in a GRE lab(assuming the one from which virus broke out - Geneva, Switzerland) for a while which is confirmed by cut Waltz's line, which proves that he's most likely the sentient night hunter, or atleast is a sentient infected.
He's not in Villedor and he's not a nighthunter. Nighthunters aren't sentient. He turned into a Sentient Volatile, have you played the following?

Man DL 1 was so much better then the sequel , the DL2 is fine but the whole atmosphere of the first one captivated me , Brecken was one of the things that made me love DL1

i have a theory that berecken has scytsophrania from the blow since lena does say that hese injured more than he shows and we can see his mental health decrese thru the game and rapid mood swings and we see after on the ferry that he was nicer than before but after that in the following the letter was more depresing like he knew that his life is coming to an end i have little proof of him having scytso but he couldeve had depression or multy personalety syndrome from that injury

I just got dying light for pc after beating it on console and I was actually wondering what happened to Brecken lol. After he came in injured I was like "oh yeahhhh, whatever happened to this guy?" 😂
The twins are actually currently alive. But we see them in the following so thats a given. And if they somehow made it out. I dont see why the others wouldnt.
imagine if brecken appear in dlc story in DL2. he might probably far older than now (probably in his 60s) if he still alive. broken inside, waited to be rescued by our main character aiden. :D
I assumed that they were setting it up that he left in desperation and was killed for trying to escape the border because the game made it clear that people couldn’t escape
The twin brothers are here now. There’s a chance they’re hinting at Brecken and the others showing up in later updates. Just as Tolga and Fatin showed up after being hinted at by those posters.

I like to think that Brecken and Crane are still alive, because one of them was a parkour instructor and the other one a natural born survivalist. I also like to think that everything that happened in The Following is only in Crane's mind, and that is in some laboratory somewhere with someone experimenting on him.

Though Damien sent 8 missing people to their deaths. There's a possibility that Ezgi, the twins, Brecken, Alfie and Lena could've been part of the group Damien got killed.
On how the story was implied in dying light 2, it sounded like the entire area was bombed or smthn, just assumed everyone insjde died
The twins are alive in DL 1. They have an entire quest in the game and even established a safe zone in the game.

I see you didn't brought up the map "Old Town" , which could also have something related to it. In Old town there is that doctor , Dr.Zere , that has a pretty solid base. Maybe Brecken got Zere out and are somewhere in Old Town. Knowing the fact that the map is full of building that means they could be anywhere. So we guess that maybe they are still alive , which I do not think what's so ever. Because that place is full of zombies, not mentioning the volatiles. So that is what I could think of.
Wasn't Zere dead when Rais stab him when Crane got thrown into some kind of Arena filled with horde of zombies?
I don't know, I don't remember that. Maybe but what I remember is when you get to zere he's fine.

I wanna point out the Ferry getting bombed, Spike was on said ferry, who appears to be in the very first part of dying light 2. So just dismissing the boat being a dead end isn't a really good point.
Spike was on the ferry but leaves afterwards.
In fact spike after the death of Rais, left Harran with many survivors and found their to way to the city of villedor.

I think it's time Dying Light had a proper sequel with Crane and Brecken. Forget the Following, forget DL2, I want more Crane and Dying Light!

@@BestGamerAli It's just so obvious at this point, that DL2 is never going to live up to the atmosphere, ambiance, of the original game. People talk cannon like this is a soap opera. It's a video game, and fans should get what they ask for (in my opinion), and not be misled or outright lied to about what they are spending what amounts to millions of dollars on some half baked unfinished over hyped crap. The film and T.V. industries are no better. Big media and big tech think they know what's best for us, but if true, why do they keep failing? Every franchise I can think of has been systematically destroyed right in front of it's fan base by these people who 'know better'. They suck, and so do we for letting them get away with it.

First ..Spike an Brecken are about the same age.. and Spike taught Aiden so.. its not that far fetched..second.. There is a Picture of Brecken on the side of the church under missing...I think that's a hint to him still being alive.. or atleast someone's still looking for him..
I think brecken must be find a way out I dont have much hope from dying light 2 but maybe everything will be solved in 3rd game

fun fact (maybe fact) (SPOILERS FOR THE FOLLOWING DL1 DLC) so the twins Fatin and Tolga, they are presumed dead. Because there is one mission where you help Tolga and Fatin make their "secret" project, which was a big rocket train/battering ram, and their mission was to crash through the train tunnel to i guess get out, but they crash and crane never gets to see them again. Either they did crash through and survived, or crashed and died.
Honestly, I searched for this. Just completed dying light. Returned to tower just to feel the total loneliness, no rahim, no jade, no zere, no Lena.. Tower was EMPTY!,
"But hey! At least we still have Bracken!"
went to check up on bracken in main room but he's not there in the whole tower. THen i came here just to end up heartbroken.
Bracken went from a responsible person full of hopes and courage to a hopeless, depressed person counting his last days...

Well Ali I personally think brecken is still alive because spike didn’t arrive in viledor until Aiden left also if they were to hold out roughly a year after crane broke out they would see antizin being released again to the public as the virus spreads out of harran also the survivors left via a hole in the wall with spike so maybe brecken did leave through there and possibly being taken in by the gre for test but in the end it’s a personal theory and we won’t know until more news is out
