I do appreciate the CGI timeline mainly being a slight retelling of the model series, due to both still carrying the Thomas show as it’s presented to us whilst subtly making sure it’s it’s own canon that can be separated, just shares mostly the same events up to that point as confirmed by flashbacks
I don't it's necessary to make CGI a separate timeline because like you said, it shares mostly the same events, and the few retcons and contradictions that it has can be either explained or ignored
I may have only been actively following the series for the Miller Era of this timeline, unfortunately, but after seeing the glory of the Brenner Era after discovering The Unlucky Tug, I can say that this has some of the best locations, characters, and episodes in the entire series, and I admire Tug's efforts to tie it all together.

9:36 this always has pissed me off. *THERE IS A LITERAL 1-IN-A-MILLION CHANCE THAT THE BARGE THOMAS WAS ON ACTUALLY ALIGNED WITH RAILS THAT RANDOMLY SHOW UP*
Thomas and the Magic Railroad also had a lot of these things as well. For example when Mr. Conductor gets caught by Diesel 10 Mr. Conductor cuts the wire and THERE IS A LITERAL 1-IN-A-MILLION CHANGE THAT HE WOULD JUST SO HAPPEN TO LAND ON THE BAGS OF FLOUR AND SURVIVE. Here's another example when Thomas takes Lilly back to her grandfather and Thomas then falls of the mountain and this scene is so annoying because THERE IS LITERALLY 1-IN-A-MILLION CHANGES THAT THOMAS JUST SO HAPPENS TO FALL INTO IT. Here's another example the stone bridge starts crumbling apart and THERE IS A LITERAL 1-IN-A-MILLION CHANGE THAT BOTH LADY AND THOMAS WOULD GET ACROSS THE BRIDGE BEFORE IT COMPLETELY CRUMBS APART. So yeah Thomas and the Magic Railroad did this much worse than Misty Island Rescue.

One of many things I don't like about CGI era is that it didn't utilize character's personal theme song as much as it was in model era where you could tell the characters by just hearing music and it gives them more personality. The other thing I don't like is they hadn't done Emily a justice (but to be fair, she got butchered since series 8).

But sadly it's not going to happen now no thanks to Mattel.
I don't think Thomas the Tank Engine would have had nearly the same impact on me if i was growing up with the CGI stuff, instead of the classic series. The model series is referenced multiple times throughout the story, with some events even be recreated, such as Thomas falling into the mine in Down The Mine, and he even recalls the details. Other references to the model series include Duncan recalling pulling an elephant statue from The Runaway Elephant and Rheneas recalling pulling a dinosaur skeleton from Rheneas and the Dinosaur, both from Emily Saves the World. Emily Saves the World actually references many episodes, the others being Paint Pots and Queens, Thomas and the Jet Engine, and Percy and the Magic Carpet. Calling all engines movie which is part of the model series timeline which is what you’re thinking of
The vicarstown bridge is neither seen or mentioned in the Miller era
Doesn’t automatically mean it didn’t exist before the Brenner era.
the Driver And Firemen in Thomas in BWBA Be like
Driver: Lets just agree to a talking train
Firemen: sounds reasonable
Is edward a legend or no and edward is my favorite
20:43 We’re not going to have a fourth timeline like this because one of Donald Trump’s team is going to make a fourth timeline in the future CGI series very soon
Yea, making the fourth timeline would be a big mess.
15:33 16:14 Edward and Henry will return to Tidmouth Sheds and Nia and Rebecca would move to Vicarstown with Rosie because another engine who was send to the mainland in 1998 to do a lot of work there will return to Sodor and move back to Wellsworth with Philip we’ll have to wait and see
BoCo will be in Wellsworth with Philip if he returns to CGI. Also, if we get back to the Brenner era style and old story telling format.
Just realized at 0:47 The fat cantroller can be seen to the right
1:58 Im sorry, what?
Blue Mountain mystery
Unlucky tug out of context:
I actually like the green Thomas more than the blue.
Misty island is special
15:02 I thought you were going to mention something about the line " you look as splendid as the day I built you" from the same episode,
might not have been the word Splendid
if you look at hiro's wheels at 3:54 they aren't moving
I noticed that goof
Personally, i like to think that the 3 of them are in their own universe
The RWS is it's own canon from the TV's. And seasons 1-24 are in one canon.
@@TheSpongeBobGuy01 actually, tit for tat confirms that the RWS is connected with TVS AND CGI
@@bernarda1247 No, it just shows that the RWS exists as a book series in the show, not that they're canon to each other. And TVS is CGI
@@Kukaakbut Gordon mentions Gordon goes foreign in cgi tho.
@@bernarda1247Which means that that particular story is canon to the TVS, not that all of the RWS is canon
oh yeah the adventure begins gets all of the attention
"Philip races Gordon, and win's"
Me: what?
*edward and henry being my favs*
*bwba happens*
I feel you
It’s been 6 years now, this controversy is old news.
10:22. Thanks Thomas!
I hate YOU 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤❤
Timelines of TTTE:
1. Railway Series (Books 1-42 and the Island of Sodor book) 1945-2005
2. Model Era (Season 1-12) 1984-2008
3. CGI Series (Season 13-24) 2009-2020
4. All Engines Go/Anime Series (Season 25-32) 2021-2026?
5. Jayden The Locomotive/My Timeline (Season 1-13) 2027-2038
Model and CGI are the same timeline
@@Kukaak
I was talking about the years these timelines went through in releases.
When Thomas first went to Misty island, he thought it was strange too but now he just thinks it’s special
I like two think magic railroad is somehow connected to the All engines go timeline. The engines don’t need drivers and there is very few humans
9:23 ''He Goes Via Ship When There's a Railway Drawbridge To The Mainland''
Maybe it's because the Vicarstown Bridge was Broken at the time.
I doubt that was on Sharon Miller’s mind when she wrote this movie, otherwise they would’ve likely mentioned it.
Can you make an all engines go timeline and we’ll see what happens with that one lol
He’d probably make a TATMR timeline video before that ever happens.
I never got why some people think that the cgi series takes place when it was made. Like why? It obviously doesn’t for one they still use old cars they use all the telephones, and and the absence of all this modern day technology.
I’m not sure if I’m correct but why does Thomas always want to go to the mainland even though he’s ACTUALLY from the mainland
He hasn't been there for several decades and he has only seen a small part of it when he was there
All engines go timeline is coming up
I’d rather the TATMR timeline.
