Great video! came across this by random and have to say you cover all of the basics very wel to get started. I have been playing for a couple months now and still learned a thing or two, wish this was around when i started out. would have safed me lots of time :)
Cool idea but I ended up stopping playing after I guess not understanding the traversal mechanics. After trying to spend 30 mins getting to tycho for the first time I gave up. Transferred instances, vector got locked. Couldn't change direction at all. Gyro and everything worked. Saw a drive cone but it didn't change my heading or slow me down. Got out of the ship and same thing. Still going towards tycho but cant stop. Even my jetpack couldn't stop me so I hangared the ship thinking un-hangaring it would fix it. Nope. Transferred instances again after I hangared it and now I am suddenly going 1000+ and CAN slow down. Unhangar the ship but it was like 60KM away. Quit. Even at my current max speed from the starting rockhopper at the time I stil would have taken 15 more minutes to get to tycho. The closest POI from my spawn. Hope I can figure it out in the future but I was so frustrated I rage quit. I'm a working adult who doesn't have that kind of time lol.

@@redlackbsi5595 my Microsoft Defender SmartScreen is giving me a warning that the launcher.exe is a phishing risk and won't let me use the app. Any recommendations?
You can buy feul canisters and have a extractor on you ship to place them in. Or you need a station with a O2/H2 production, then you connect to the station and put your tanks on stockpile. if you vote on the server, you usually also get feul canisters, if you get the jerry can its only for small grids Lot of these topics are covert in the new player guide, type !npg in the chat on server
