One of my favorite things about Alexa is her sense of humor and even when she isn't trying to be funny as here, it leaks out here and there. She's brilliant.

Haha, I think the package is cute but not what you expect for an amazing skin-care product, just what you would see for regular hand lotion. Maybe that's what she means.
I think Alexa is the right mixture of beauty and British humour.

Well, the amount of sunscreen that she puts is absolutely irrelevant in order to really prevent sun damage. It should be 5 times more for it to be effective and protective.
Omg, after last episode I invested in some better skin care and I'm really happy. I read her articles and created a bit of a skincare routine. Going to try to keep it up for a few months and see how my skin looks. Very happy. I really like that you introduce new people in to my life and it always inspires me to take better care of myself.

OMG I was OBSESSED with the Animals of Farthing Wood. Watched it on the telly after coming home from school, bought the weekly companion magazine (a big word for what was essentially twenty pages of paper stapled together), read all of the novels to death. Feeling nostalgic now.

Isnt tretinoin used against acne? How can it also work against wrinkles then?
@@xmeinhonigx it is , tretinoin rebuilds collagen in skin. If you use it for antiaging purposes start slowly and gradually adjust your skin to it, in the beginning you experience dry flaking horrible looking skin or breakouts
@@xmeinhonigx Yeah and that´s is why u can only buy it if your doctor ( skin specialist) decide u need it ( I live in Denmark). It has a lot of side effects so u need to be very very careful when using it and u shouldn´t use it as an anti-age treatment- it´s meant ONLY to treat ache.
@@mette1983 or u can switch to retinol, another vit a derivatives which is milder than tretinoin and its over the counter products

You have naturally flawless skin you are very lucky. I struggled with bad skin all my life. I can only use organic mineral products and follow a very healthy diet plus sulphur soap for redness and coconut oil to moisturise

I really like Rio, she does seems great but I get a little bothered that she speaks with such certain only researching things by her self and without a real ''education'' about it.
Victoria Bonatti I agree. But she didn’t say anything super wrong, so I guess it’s not that bad. But it is better to ask help from a dermatologist/professional if people really have severe skin conditions.

Centella Asiatica grows quite a lot in my grandama's house. We usually eat it with soup and now people put it on their face. Nice discovery!

Hey Alexa! I used to have the same thing with spots. Always in my chin and some very atractive ones near my mouth. I started taking evening primrose oil pills and they're gone. Not ONE in 3 years (knocks on wood). I hope that's helpful!

My skin is normal sensitivity I’d say, but my acne makes it so everything hurts soo bad... I had this “soothing spray” and using it gave me intense burning pain cause of all the raw patches, even things made for sensitive skin sting so much.
that sounds like an allergy to an ingredient! It’s worth it to consult with a dermatologist if you’re having extreme reactions.
Check the ingredients! If it has essential oils or fragrance that could be especially irritating!
Says no to essential oils and fragrance but uses a moisturizer with chamomile hmmmm
I caught that too, but could be extract which may be less irritating than essential oil.
It's probably chamomile flower and not the essential oil, which is very differnt.
Yes, the ingredients list includes "chamomile and ginger root essential oils."
