- There's an Herb for That: 9 Uses for Chrysanthemum
In this video, I identify signs and symptoms that can be alleviated by the flower, Chrysanthemum. This herb is otherwise known as Ju Hua in Chinese Medicine.
"There's an Herb for That" is an ongoing series that identifies common signs and symptoms that can be alleviated by herbal medicine. Within each post, I will identify a single herb that you can use for those specific signs and symptoms. Pretty cool, hu?

My 14 year old a month ago got acne break out. I have the Chrysmori tea for myself can she drink it ? Thank you for a well explained video.
Sure! She can also apply topically as a toner or mix with a natural toner like thayers. Brew tea then apply brewed tea to face with cotton ball. Hope that makes sense.
@@MalerieGiaimo I appreciate your prompt response ♥️
Great for skin issues as they often originate internally. So even drinking it is good for the skin!
Yes! and applied topically for skin issues is even better!
I am updating on this Chrysmori Tea. I gave it to my daughter for acne it did mild down!!!! She's been taking it for about 2 weeks. The family got sick with the flu and amazing she has not!! I would like to know how long can she keep drinking it? Tia
Thank you for your video! Have you drank it as a tea for inflammation in body? I have a hunch it may work for pain?
Yes, I have! I like to enjoy a cup after meals to aid with digestion, which will also help with inflammation. You can add more herb or an additional teabag to increase the effects as well!
Unfortunately I was prescribed antibiotics. Do you know if it's okay to have the tea also? Thanks a lot!
Yes, you can. Hope you're feeling better!

Absolutely! Those are great combos. Thank you for your comment and apologies for the lengthy delay!

Hey! What botanical name is the plant? I’d love to grow medicinal chrysanthemum.
Yes! It's such a beautiful plant to be grown and harvested. It is known at Flos Chrysanthemi Morifolii.

@@MalerieGiaimo sorry i didn't understand your reply. Thanks
will it help with menopause hoy flashes?
It may a little. I'd suggest finding a Chinese medicine herbalist in your area. Chinese medicine formulas are fantastic for menopause hot flashes. We can also do a virtual consult.
@@MalerieGiaimo ok. Thanks for the reply. Was just curious cause it mentioned helping with cooling of heat. Lol. I was going to someone near me then the covid started; gonna try to reconnect. Thank you!
How do you get this
It's available in most health foods stores, nurseries and online.
