    I was in WholeFoods and got a bag of goji berries about a month ago. Keep saying I'd find a recipe, I wanted to make an ice cream or sorbet, but time got past me. I also got Trader Joe's toasted coconut, dried dark sweet cherries, and berry medley (strawberries, blue berries, and cherries), we top our oatmeal or yogurt or custard with these. Well, after seeing this video, this morning I'm enjoying a cup of berry cherry tea ... yup, goji, strawberries and blue berries with some sweet dark cherries that I poured water over and added some honey too brew in my pot on my tea warmer. I was going to add a tea bag, but the berries made the liquid dark after brewing for 10 minutes. I don't have chrysanthemum flowers and I didn't want to use my jasmine flower buds. Delicious! Thank you for another great tea recipe!

    Love this! We've bought a tea like this in a packet, but it's so nice to be able to make your own!

    Jujube would be another great sweetener. Make sure to crush them open if they're the really dried hard ones or soak and brew for a long time, or buy the softer snacking type of jujube :)

    Love the Fruit Fusion Super Fruit mix!!! I buy them at Costco, they're perfect for snacks or whenever you need to add super fruits to food. I like mixing them in my oatmeal. :)

    I love this! I use chrysanthemum to cool and calm the liver and goji Berries to nourish blood. BUT can I add red dates? Jujube?to build blood of course.

      Angel Wong's Kitchen thank you! So, I made the goji berry and chrysanthemum yea and I added two dates. I had a panic attack when I added the red dates after! My body temp also dropped and I got cold. Why would this happen? I’m a healthy 35yr old male.

    What are your thoughts on organic versus just regular chrysantheum tea? Is there a difference between purchasing the whole flower versus the buds of the flower?

    I am wanting to make the chrysantheum tea for medicinal purposes - which should I use the dried chrysanthemum flower or the dried flower bud?

    If I add rock sugar, would I mix it with a spoon in the teapot?

    • @angelwongskitchen
      @angelwongskitchen  7 років тому

      +Francescadbg yes you'll need to mix the rock sugar to help it dissolve. Best to maybe boil it over the stove with water first.
