He absolutely was a better player than Vince. In my opinion he was better than Kobe at their peaks. Nobody could deal with that height and skill. He never had that great teammate by his side, like some of the other greats. As well as he had to deal with deteriorating health.

Ralph Sampson. Injuries stunted his growth and should have been first ballot hof if he had played longer. If his overall career is not first ballot hof fame worthy, then Tmac shouldn’t have been…
GREAT VIDEO. MCGRADY LIVED IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD WHILE AT MOUNT ZION IN DURHAM NC "BULL CITY". MCGRADY IS A HALL OF FAMER. DROP A COURTNEY ALEXANDER VIDEO

Straight facts! I thought the same thing about the last stunt, great video all together salute 🙏🏾
T mac cant be great alongside another all star.
@@grayeighty8974 I think he could’ve
This pains me to see as a raptors fan, in his final season with the raptors 1999-2000 TMAC was just starting to peak before he entered his prime a year later, which sadly was when he landed in Orlando.. so we lost him at the worst possible time:(
99/-00 stats:
15.4PPG
3.3AST
6.3RBD
1.1STL
1.9BLKS (impressive for a SF, also career high)
A year later he jumped from 15.4PPG to 26.8PPG!!! What a beast man, one of the best to ever lace them up, sadly injuries held him back. Still we were blessed to have a young tmac for 3 seasons!! What could of been though man!!
Tracy last year in Tor he avg 15pts 6rebs 2blocks off the bench..
Do one on Alvin Williams. He was nice. #20 the point guard for that 01 raptors team, super under rated
For all these stunts are the reasons why I was not a fan of Tracy McGrady nor do I think he should be in HOF
He is definitely a first time ballot Hall of Famer, Kobe and Jordan are the only two 2-guards that I will take over T-Mac!!!
DWade on line 3. Clyde Drexler on line 4. Ray Allen on line 5. Reggie Miller on line 6.
Dwade
@@africadondada6555 you sound stupid...no one on T Mac level from a talent perspective if not for injuries other than Kobe you said Reggie Miller lmaoooo watch the tape you bruh
My favorite basketball player always thought he was better then Kobe rip Kobe
Your Crazy 😂😂😂😂😂
@@leonardpetion8612 nah Trace was that dude 4r4r. HE HAS UNGUARDABLE.
@@terrenceliburd8655 nothing but a Loser to be honest he was good yes but not a Hall of Famer
@@leonardpetion8612 Come on bro Tracy a Loser? What about Barkley, Ewing, G Hill, Karl Malone? They are ringless and they're in the HOF
@@terrenceliburd8655 they was better than Tmac ! They made out that first round won , MVPs etc
Yes😬....but if he got a ring.. I'd say it with out hesitation.
But overall, a great player and I'm glad I got to see him play.
T Mac does not have a ring!!!!
T-Mac was 🥶 on the court back then 💯
Whoever doesn't think he shouldn't be 1st ballot is trippin... yeah I'm biased. 🤷🏽♂️
Oh yeah... FIRST
Mr. Box-Toe BBall shoes,("They were the least comfortable hoop shoes I've ever owned in ťhe modern era.) Your toe's would've gottem
He isn't.
The bum never won ONE playoff series EVER. HE’s the most overrated player next to Melo of all time
His shoes were trash.
@@carboy101 He is, he's there already. 🤷🏽♂️
Really? TMac is in the HOF? That's messed up
Crazy I forgot Tracy was drafted before Vince if they would’ve blossomed together 😵😢‼️
I believe him and Vince together could've won a ring.
He was his generation's answer to George Gervin. Great scorer whose teams never went too far in the playoffs.
Still, one of the players I would pay to watch because when he was in his prime, McGrady, like Gervin, could put on some show.
A Hall of Famer, but not 1st or 2nd Ballot as he didn't really accomplish much in his career. But we are talking about the NBA, which has Jerry West as the logo...still, when it clearly should be MJ, Magic, Kareem, Bill Russell...I could go
T Mac has scoliosis, he wasn't even suppose to have such a long career and his last season playing with Vince, though Vince may have averaged more points the analyst were saying McGrady was playing better basketball.
How
Was he better than Vince
He absolutely was a better player than Vince. In my opinion he was better than Kobe at their peaks. Nobody could deal with that height and skill. He never had that great teammate by his side, like some of the other greats. As well as he had to deal with deteriorating health.
I tell you he was my favorite players growing up so exciting, sad he didn't get a ring. To this day I rock his Orlando Magic jersey the blue like it came yesterday 😂

Love TMac, definitely one of the greats.

I remember in middle school we use to argue who was better him or Kobe respect TMAC
Yeah for about 1,2 years max ! After that we knew it was Kobe
My all time favorite
Mac is my favorite of all time he made it look so easy
TMac is one of my favorite players. That being said, he wasn’t much more than offense. You need more from your star player to go far in the playoffs. I still remember the Magic blowing a series they were dominating. I need to see who got left out, but I would still lean toward second ballot for my guy

You gotta do one on Harold Minor. He was nasty before his injuries
He did a stunted growth on Minor already ,however alot people never saw his potential, he was a Load of a scorer in college .and should have did more
MICHAEL REDD!!! my favorite player ever... smooth lefty that had a nice short career... do my man MIKE REDD !!

Josh Childress next plss
If not for the injuries could have been one of the best .Tracy McGrady was a problem on the court . u should do one on miles Simon Arizona
As a orlando native I was excited that got tmac &grant but when hill went down they never built around him, and our management as as team has never been great, Tmac said himself that in orlando he needed help those were his best years and he was able to accomplish what he did with no team,so I say he should be in the HOF👍
I must admit I didn’t think he was first ballot but no one can deny he was on his way dude was talented just blew up n no one saw it coming. It was kind of James harden like one year a role player next a star but he was a an offensive weapon pull up jumper with range, dunk or layup, underrated foot work TMac had it all, but he wasn’t very good in the playoffs Orlando I can’t be too critical because he didn’t have grant or much help, but Houston he didn’t play well and also there only a few years from 00-06 of dominance and there others he retired before him who deserved it but dude was special just wasn’t first ballot but HOF yes
I feel you. T mac was my dude and at the same time, he was a little unsure of his first ballot selection. He belongs, but not first ballot although he had first ballot talent.
Wow thnx for this story
he took a garbage magic team to the pkayoffs 3 years in row until they traded his only 2 good players mike miller and darrel armstrong but injuries robbed him no doubt like this episode
How about Grant Hill! You disrespectful bastard!
The only 2 other good players were Mike Miller and Darryl Armstrong... listen to that sentence and you see how much he had to do to make the playoffs. He had absolutely no help. They talk about AI and Lebron in his first stint in Cleveland but completely look over the uphill climb T Mac had.
@@pettymurphy2243 thats what i mean. darrell even came off the bench thats hiw bad that team was. tmac was insane i cant believe how people dont remember
@@jasonreyes5767 Exactly... Grant and Mac absorbed so much cap space that they literally had bums off the corner playing beside him. Who tf remember Jeryl Sasser??? Nobody. Lmfaooo

No. If you have to ask the question, no. I honestly don't think he should be there at all given his shortcomings. It'd be different if, like JC said, he went to college and dominated, in which that body of work is definitely on the table to help make his case for a HOF bid, but he didn't.
My all time favorite player
He is absolutely hall of famer because it's a basketball hall of fame and many international players with nearly no NBA accomplishments make it there (because they meant a lot to their country). T-Mac was crazy popular in his prime and one of the smoothest games ever.
He's the first guy to have a game time signature off the backboard dunk!!!
It doesn't matter how much talent he had, it is what he did with it. It doesn't matter how much potential he had if he didn't achieve it. Kobe's nodge is the achievement people reference and using injuries to excuse choking in the 4th. If we use the criteria he uses on Garden, he is mid
