Tracy McGrady is one of the greatest basketball players in the history of the NBA. His skill set is one of a kind, and during his prime, he had it all. Sure he earned millions of dollars from the Nba, has a family and an overall respectable life, but I still feel bad for him going through serious injuries during his career, and losing in the 1st round too much.
At his peak, he was KD before KD, maybe a slightly less talented shooter, but insanely athletic
KD never got tmac's explosiveness and talent it's not even close.
@@ryosukeyagami6334 talent?
@@ryosukeyagami6334 i kneel
KD admitted to watching a lot of Tmac highlights in hs. But TMac said yeah but I’m not a 7ft that shoots like you loll
@@ryosukeyagami6334 talent? You smoking crack KD is way better than tmac even before injury stop it. Y’all love to hate KD
My favorite NBA player of all time and the player I grew up watching when I was a Rockets fan and most memorable playing with Yao Ming.
imo he would have been a top 5 sg if he never got hurt so much
Definitely.
he would be a top 5 sg if he won a chip or at least made the finals a couple times. His numbers are there, but nothing to show for it.
Great breakdown !!
I feel like Dame Lilliard carrying the TrailBlazers reminds me of a prime T-Mac carrying the Magic on his back and not getting to the NBA finals until the end of his career as a role player on the Spurs. But I hope Dame can get a ring before he retires but don't see Dame winning a chip in Portland 🤔🏆
dame gon be the definition of wasted talent if he don't leave portland

Yo channel be helping me win hella debates😂
I subbed bro keep it up🙏🏾
Video Idea: How good was Ben Wallace actually?
Tmac and DWade were my favorite players and I wasn't even watching NBA in those years because of school and lack of cable TV.
I just love using them in NBA Live and watching their highlights from the game and internet 😄
I was wishing he came to Miami instead of Spurs.
I would put Mcgrady over Lillard in 75 greatest players of all time
I remember reading a SLAM magazine article saying how tmac was just on another level above everyone else at that time. People forget how good he really was. If I had one player to start a franchise around, it's prime TMac
Tmac is literally plays like Kobe but taller
I went to that game 5 2003 1st round game T-Mac @ Detroit. The palace was sold out and insane that nite. The pistons used their best impressions of the jordan rules to shut McGradys water off and it worked bigtime. Chauncey Billups scored 79 combined points in game 6 and 7 combined and the pistons blew the magic out 3 straight games.
He was literally Kd before Kd
With better handles, dunks, steals and hops for blocks and rebounding I believe. Dude could oop it to himself in games
T-mac is player with GOAT potential. One of my favorite players of all time
Prime T-Mac was better than prime Lebron. Grand Hill was the reason why he didn’t get into finals in his Magic’s years.
Take note as a lone superstar he did carry the magic to the playoffs that alone is huge achievement already
@@edmondsantos8293 totally agree
Um no he definitely wasn’t better than prime bron. Imagine thinking this🤣🤣🤣
@@jasonmoukala8909 check your brain. Only retarded human will think Lebron is better than Mcgrady
@@drevil2675 he is. More rings, fmvp, mvp, more efficient, better playmaker etc
Great content
McGrady was a beast but just got unlucky with trash teammates and injuries
i remember when i was in i think elementary school and i had a really long phase of loving basketball and dont get me wrong i still do love the game but man i always loved T-Mac dude was an absolute beast and was definitely in my top ten favorite players, also for some reason really liked his name, very iconic probably one of the coolest sounding names in the game i think...anyways yeah T-Mac was awesome loved him - kinda wish he had a chance to get traded to either the Heat or the Lakers that woulda been game over back then I think...
That 13 spurs playoff season was all about getting tmac ring the whole city was rooting for him to get one and they were one rebound and one free throw away from happening
T-Mac was a rare breed
One of the most explosive and athletic wing players of all-time.
Teams and teammates win championships… this man should be proud he did good 🔥
The slight mention of the HAT VC was wearing on draft night would have gotten a bit more love…from me.
McGrady has always been one of my favorite players... wish he would've won a ring
T Mac was my favorite player broooooo
T Mac fav of all time
He did everything Kobe could do, and skill wise, while being taller. That says enough
Tracy McGrady is one of the greatest basketball players in the history of the NBA. His skill set is one of a kind, and during his prime, he had it all. But it wasn’t his creativity around the rim, ability to finish or silky smooth jump shots that made him great. He was on his way to become an all-time great, but the injuries got the best of him. He was truly one of those once in a lifetime players that everyone was paying top dollar to see. His biggest weakness was his inability to reach his full potential.
Tracy deserves his flowers. He really should of made that NBA 75 list
TMAC in my opinion was one of the greatest of all-time. Definitely a fan favorite in my generation. I remember at one point NBA Elite Players were Kobe Bryant, Shaq, Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, Vince Carter, Tracy Mcgrady, Allen Iverson, Jason Kidd.
Man Carter and McGrady could've been one of the best duos of all time..
Tracy most underrated player of all time and that’s facts
I remember being a kid & watching the game where he alley ooped it to himself off the backboard . I had never seen that b4 nd i was sold. He was a monster
He’s one of my favorite shooting guards of all time But he could play power forward small and point guard as well. He’s one of my favorite players for that reason that he’s a slasher a good shooter and has good handles and can post you up and back you the hell down
Tmac definitely couldn't and never played PF, respectfully.
Bro was cooking when he put all the pieces together....when he was on he was on....range was impeccable...
McGrady was easily my favorite player in that era.
R.I.P. Kobe and all the others who lost their life in the helicopter incident🕊💜💛🕊
Tmac n and penny were still my favs with iverson
