Gray or black market are money nobody can take from you or take taxes 😎 You can be poor or even unemployed officially in Serbia but to spend, travel, live wild life with money flowing out of the regulations. Coming from Australia where I am moving to Serbia, I have to disagree about the sun. The sun in Oz burns whereas the sun is Serbia stings a little bit. In Oz, we have sun, sun, and more sun, compared to Serbia. Serbia has a lot more cloudy days than Australia, yet when it storms, in Serbia, it storms well with lightning etc...never misses a beat lol.....yet I love lightning. Personally, I would not be advertising Serbia as a place to move to. Keep it a secret. Many ppl from 3rd world countries are starting to move there and if we are not careful, it'll become like Australia which is a 4th world country where hearing English, the culture, the food, etc are all gone to a major extent.

Almost all immigrants in Serbia are from western hemisphere and developed world. Americas with latinos also, Russians, ukranians, aussies, chinese, and west european. Most immigrants are other SLAVS.
Serbia is underrated (better said ignored) because the West never cared to look east of Italy, and south of Austria, particularly in the centuries past. Only in World War I and after did the West pay any attention but all that was for a brief period when the name of the country became confederated and the name "Serbia" was relegated to oblivion for 60 years until the breakup of Yugoslavia in the 1990s did Serbia regained its natural place in the polity of nations. Many people don't realize that Serbia's current national flag (tricolours) dates back to early 13th century. No other European country can trace its flag that far, back except Denmark.

Why would anyone with a little sanity move to Serbia? This country is extremely expensive if you need to find a job there or start a business dealing with local community. Rent prices take around 80% of your income, food is more expensive than in Greece, Germany or Spain. Serbia used to be ok choice for digital nomads before but now that prices skyrocketed 200% it’s ridiculous to even consider moving there. Not to mention most expensive fuel prices, highest levels of pollution in the world or dirty streets with tons of garbage…

Aha, everything is great until you have to deal with some needed papers. And than, you will meet with the Shalterusha. This is mostly female but it can be male, which is even worse. She/he works in some gov. institution and constantly fuk you up in everything you need from the gov. and you always need one more paper so you will get your things done, buuuuuuut, when you get this paper you will need another one and so on and so on. Till you get the last one, but 6 months passed away and you need a new ones, so the circle starts again. And thats the real Serbia.
He should settle back home instead of ruining Serbia for Serbs. They have a huge country, their government has stolen 80% of Serbia and not even that is enough. Now they're moving to Serbia to steal the rest from Serbs.
