Serbia looks absolutely beautiful, and the culture seems so vibrant. I’d love to visit one day and experience it all firsthand. Petrus Pomerol looks inviting! Hvala for this amazing series, I really enjoyed watching it.
Serbia is welcoming all of good people, no matter race, and religion, if you wana invest come, the infrastructure is booming all over the place, we have culture, education, party, jobs , modern jobs like IT. Belgrade is single handedly most important and central location for investment, jobs , logistics, transport and education in this part of Europe. Welcome.
Lots to love about Belgrade. Strategic location in Europe, lively city, interesting history, lots of opportunity for nomads and it's the hub of the region, as Mr. Henderson says.
Belgrade is great, I'm visiting for a few months and I love it. One warning-- not everyone speaks English. No, not all young people speak English here, despite what you may have read on the internet. I've lived in 4 temporary apartments (2 neighborhoods in the city center, and 2 just outside of it). I've ran into several grocery store employees who don't speak it, but everything has worked out just fine, even with my very limited Serbian!
I was walking there 2 hours ago so 1 hour before on waterfront before your live video and I feel relaxed! any day any time when you walk you do not feel unsafe at any corner of Belgrade!
Wow, this video really captures the beauty and luxury that Belgrade has to offer! The insights into Serbia's high-end living are amazing, and it’s great to see this city showcased in such a vibrant way. Definitely on my list of places to visit!
Wow, this really highlights the beauty of the nomad capitalist lifestyle! Living luxuriously in a place like Belgrade, while enjoying the freedom to explore the world, is what it's all about.
I believe Poland 🇵🇱 is the safest country in Europe, with a crime rate so low that people can enjoy life without worrying about their safety. Additionally, Poland’s economy is growing rapidly and steadily. It might be worth doing an episode about Poland.
My town my country i lived in Italy and England but now in that countrys no freedom taxes sky high. Anyone who wants should come and see for themselves, experience Belgrade and Serbia, I am not saying that we are without flaws, I am not saying that we are the best, but come spend a week and then decide. We like to enjoy life we like to eat quality food without GMO we love to drink and most of all we like to party. Welcome to Belgrade.
Belgrade is by far the best city in which to live, in the world. Not by any standard metrics, but by the sense of freedom, warmness, joy and epicness when you walk the streets.
Plovdiv, Bulgaria was beautiful, spent a year there. But I'd go for Belgrade even just for the English alone. In Plovdiv you quite often get this vibe that you're supposed to know Bulgarian. There's a kind of "This is Bulgaria" feeling there. Sofia is actually way better than Plovdiv in my humble estimation -- I felt more welcome there on the whole, despite what they say about Plovdiv being such a chill place where time doesn't move. But knowing what I know now, I expect Belgrade to easily beat Sofia for people who are not going to be learning the local language. In Bulgaria, the real tax rate isn't really 7.5% for freelancers the way they pitch it to you... It's more like 16% assuming an income of 60k EUR, and only if you make a huge amount like 1 million EUR will you get close to a total tax burden of 7.5%. 15% would be fine if my lawyers didn't charge me like 300 EUR a month just for a virtual address + their services. They probably only needed to spend 10 minutes on my account per month, so were charging me a ludicrous hourly rate. But now, here in Batumi, I'm paying like 60-70 EUR per month, and I'm more than happy to pay that even if they may on average spend 10 min a month due to my currently simple business model. If Bulgaria wants to be awesome, they should match Serbia and Georgia with regards to taxes and reasonably priced accounting. Paying 300 EUR for accounting in Bulgaria is about what you'd pay in Norway.
No matter race or country you coming from you are all welcome, i have a neighbor Black lady and single and beutifull she love Belgrade, come to visit for couple of day i am sure you will come again
If you go off the bigger cities, you might get looks but it is because of curiosity and not because of being judged. I wouldn't be surprised if you were approached by school kids wanting to take photos. When I first saw a black guy I sort of stared but it was because I was curious and wanted to practice my English 😂 Serbs are generally very welcoming and we have that "respect the guest" mentality. We tend to treat guests better than ourselves:D Welcome to Serbia friend :) Belgrade, Novi Sad, Subotica, Sombor, Nis, Viminacium archaeological site, Golubac fortress are some of my recommendations :) A big issue though - smoking in clubs restaurants and coffeeshops 😒🙄
@@milosobilic981 Exactly! Then why did you kill your own citizens in the 90’s? Because of your misconduct, Kosovo is now independent. But no worries, I’ll sit down….while watching a soccer game of Kosovo’s national team ;)
Serbia Pros: Inexpensive Serbia Cons: No offline google translate To get a eSIM you need to be a resident I went to 3 separate phone stores Had to go buy a phone to get a regular sim to share internet to my iPhone Fewest people willing to help a traveler of any place I’ve ever traveled Similarities with Colombia, moderate air pollution, moderate to low IQ, moderate economic freedom. This place hates money. You have to email them if you want a certain service or good and they don’t get back to you and you have to follow up to try to give them money. Helicopter ride got refunded.
I don't think so. Belgrade have Communist architecture, unplanned and unfinished houses, bad infrastructure, garbage... . We have a lot of historic cities from different periods, prehistory, Roman empire, medieval, Ottoman empire... Nature is dissent. Economy is bad, big majority of people working for 600 euros. Institutions are corrupt and chaotic. Because of that emigration in the West is very high. Belgrade is very safe country, their is no dangers. About mentality, it's third world country. You can buy anything in Serbia from college degree to land and people.
What communist architecture you mean Brutalist style that comes from England, you have new builds that are just as any city in western europe, so mix of cultures is bad, Economy is discent, Nature breathtaking, seems my friend you have something against Serbia maybe you are our neighbor a little jelaus.
I miss visiting Belgrade on a regular basis. Really looking forward to this episode! Živeli!
"This is Europe without the part of Europe that sucks" - very well said!
Thank you.
I look forward to this👌. Currently living in Novi Sad...not too far away from Belgrade.

Great work and a very insightful video, continuously opening our eyes to new countries and the benefits of a Nomad Capitalist lifestyle. Thank you!

I love Serbia, but entrepreneur taxes (paushalac) are a steal 😅
go to split croatia on digital nomad visa... 0%
It's ridiculous. Only paušalac downside is that you need two firms to get 100.000 euros , otherwise you'll need bookkeeping.
love belgrade!
Me too!!!!!I feel there soooo free!!!

So true! Love my city! We do have some infrastructural issues that we have to work on, but we'll solve those 😊❤🎉
This should be interesting, my ancestor lost his life taking the city from the Ottoman Empire in the 1600s.
Great video! Really enjoyed an inside look at Belgrade and how incredible it is! Looking forward to more!
