- Evan Minton was denied a hysterectomy by the Mercy San Juan Medical Center due to their ethical and religious obligations. He sued and is celebrating the results.
If the surgery didn’t fit within the services they offered they shouldn’t have scheduled it.
Having had a hysterectomy that would help my condition, though wasn’t medically necessary, I know even at secular hospitals, you have to go through the whole process of something one could call counseling, where they try to talk you out of it, and make sure you understand the ramifications and potential consequences of the decision.
For them to cancel a surgery the day before means it was set, the OR was reserved, and the entire staff had coordinated and discussed their plan for the procedure.
The hospital for sure was in the wrong here. If the surgery was against policy, they should have told the patient when the surgery was requested.
His surgeon should have known the hospital's requirements.
It's called infiltration. They hate everything and everyone who doesn't think like them and they'll violate whatever they can just to feel like they have some power or control to change things to what they want or punish who they view as against them. The hospital caught it before it could happen.
So he gets the hysterectomy and that makes him a man? My wife had the same procedure, am I gay?
yes …yes you are

@MHS-ql7ee you spelt he wrong

I mean it’s a catholic hospital go to another one.
I understand your point, but I question wether an institution providing public medical care should be allowed to ignore the law because of religious beliefs. If that were the case, the timely removal of a fetus who will never become a viable baby, to save the life of a mother, could be denied or delayed on religious grounds. And then the mother (and fetus) die while under hospital care when the woman could have been saved. Oh wait, that's already happening.
@@janinawaz4596 There are thousands of hospitals in the United States.
@@FirstLast-qf1df The US is 3.797 mlion square miles (9.629 million sq km) with 334 million people. I should hope there are thousands of hospitals.
Meanwhile for decades War Veterans have been abused in the Vet Hospitals, that news should have been covered and continue to be. If he needs it that's fine it shouldn't make the news.
B.s. this is insane. And it's news why?
Religion should be kept entirely out of healthcare. Medicine is about quality of life, not just preventing death, right?
No matter how hard you try...you just won't ever be what your pretending to be. I'll be laughing the entire time though cause you can't expect people to take this stuff serious
She's so creepy lookin
Keep crying about it.
Baloney ! He set up the catholic health system. Find out if he had consulted any legal services prior to his choice to challenge the catholic hospital.
It’s NOT a setup.
The individual simply wanted a very common procedure.
Women get hysterectomies everywhere.
What makes this case an exception?!
To all those religious hospitals out there, stop meddling in people’s choices and JUST PROVIDE MEDICAL CARE LIKE ANY OTHER MEDICAL INSTITUTION!
Otherwise, go back to doing ONLY religion!
And STOP DISCRIMINATING AGAINST LGBTQI in CALIFORNIA!
@@LadyinStilettos Any "elective" procedure that causes sterilization is not done at catholic facilities. If the she part of he had pathology that was life threatening the procedure would have been done. If you are serious take it up with the state. The legislators in California have consistently supported the LGBTQI agenda.
@@LadyinStilettos I wasn't aware removing body parts for no reason was a "very common" procedure.
You will always be a woman. Stop suing and trying to get money.
Nah, AMERICA means RIGHTS.
That includes the right to sue.
Duh?! Where have you been?!
She will never be a man no matter what she does she will always remain a woman in the eyes the Lord

@@LadyinStilettos They're a private company, they can have their own rules. See where this is going?
Let’s go Brandon
Based hospital
No man needs a hysterectomy ever. She wanted the hospital to continue her game of pretend, but they weren't having it. How indulgent she is.
