Colorado 4x4 Rescue and Recovery - Larimer County Mud Bog

- Thursday evening a team from Colorado 4x4 Rescue and Recovery went up trail 407 in the upper part of the buckhorn canyon to recover a Nissan Xterra out of the stream crossing that is flowing very well right now due to lots of abnormal rain for this time of year.
The recovery itself was very quick which is always nice, but some times you never know if the ground has a good suction on the bottom of the vehicle or not. Other recoveries we've done like this have been in excess of 20,000 pounds of pulling force required to break that suction.
A simple fun recovery! See ya on the next one! - Фільми й анімація
Them street times are worthless for anything but the pavement. Give me mud tires or give me death. 🤣
Nice recoveries. One winch, one kinetic rope! It is so hard to believe how dry that area was and now water is running everywhere. It is really dry here in Michigan. At least the smoke in the air isn't from Colorado!!
You don’t need to brake the xterra to send power to the other wheel. The traction control system is still active in 4 low. Just let it spin and it’ll figure out traction.
certainly wasn't working on this one lol.
These people you keep rescuing don't understand that street tires are not for offroading...
What is your fee for that recovery?
Great video! Love the recoveries
Ew a Bronco. Kidding, nice video.
We went from an 86 day February straight to summer monsoon season in Utah. It's been a crazy weird year so far.
Where is this?
Driver power wagon,- need learning drive..
Great job
Very nice 👍
All the rain we've been getting here I kind of quit bothering washing the Dodge for a while seems like every other day I'm in the mountains getting mud all over it. Lmao
Lol yep! Daily battle for sure.
That Cameron Peak Burn Scar is something else man. Went over to our old usual camping area off of Pingree after running Kelly Flats and it was heartbreaking to see that whole valley side across from our spot just absolutely wiped out. That landscape is forever changed for our lifetime. Just looking at how long the High Park Fire Burn Scar has been around and how little it has changed in a decade, makes you wonder how many generations will go by before that is all dense pine forest again.
Yep it's horrible.
What's the cost difference between the Jeep and the Bronco?
Depends on how loaded up make it. In my case the bronco was about $3500 more than the wrangler.
@@JustinKingOffroad Wow, much closer than I would have thought.
Another great video. Definitely with the weather, trail conditions are gonna be gooey.
Meanwhile back on Vancouver Island, our lack of rain is causing issues. Several fires already, a couple of bad ones and it is only June.
My neighbor just bought a new Bronco. Pretty nice little unit.
It's not going to be a pavement princess but he will never see anything like what you do Justin.
I told him about your channel.
Thanks for the mention!! I'd like to double the subs.
Nice and easy always a plus
good to see the Bronco in some mud action
The amount of time to clean it wasn't fun lol
