I am so glad that you have a group of friends together eating at the end of your videos. It is pleasant to see people sharing a meal together and enjoying one another. Also, seeing the sides/accompaniments with your pies makes us understand the whole meal. Thank you!
Liverpudlian here. My Mum always made scouse on a Monday, then any leftovers were turned into a pie, with a shortcrust pastry on top on a Tuesday. If you didn't have enough money you would make something called blind Scouse, which would be scouse without the meat.
always lovely recipe's from Paul I love home baked food and can spend hours watching Paul, I love baking bread and Paul is a master at that, trouble is, by the time I watch all his lovely videos I don't have time to bake
Wow What a variety of those potatoes, I love King's in any way prepared, especially fried, how delicious those pies, how do you enjoy each of those fantastic videos 🎉👏🏻✌️😃🤩

We are in the last quarter of the year and as much as I will like to remain optimistic that things will get better soonest, the facts state otherwise The govt are more preoccupied about the coming elections. And truth be told, they never really care about the citizens that much. Take care of your finances the best you can esp ahead of the early part of next year. Things get worse before they get better. We just have to try and remain afloat before this saga passes through
I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for
If you do not have a balanced portfolio or planned for this, it’s gonna hit you harder. Mary Elizabeth Huxley warned about this. Said it will take about 5 years before things get back to normal since the pandemic. And it’s not far from the truth of what’s happening.
She's easily one of the top manage'rs in the US right now. If financial genius was a person, she's the one. I know first hand because I use her services too
Paul do you make a suet bacon and onion roll. I think it’s a Northern dish I remember having it as a child. I would love a recipe for if. And also how long to cook it thank you.
i've never heard of any of the top potatoes surveyed. i wonder if they're the same species as the popular ones here but with different names (appearance-wise they looked like what we'd call russet/baking, red, maybe...yukon gold?), or did a different set of potatoes win their way to the top of consumers over there? the contest winner with the white and purple looked like a radish to me 🙂
I've bought your book to use the croissant recipe, please please can you do a video on it, as my butter keeps breaking between folds, I'm using 82% fat butter and 12.5% protein flour please do a video 🙏
Hey y'all. I'm from Texas and am enamored with these pies and puds I have been watching (possibly because my ancestry is British). I am kicking around the idea of making this meat and two potato pie for my spud loving kids with my last venison shoulder, but I am assuming I would need to add something with a little more fat to it? Love the show, love Bake Off, please keep it coming :)
Why does everyone keep saying there are loads of varieties in UK supermarkets? There literally isn’t. I wish there was somewhere I could try the different ones - including nearby countries’ versions like ratte. Anyone know somewhere online that has a real selection?
Scouse is not a Baltic dish .Nor did sailors bring it in to port. It is an Irish dish from Connimara area and brought to Liverpool by thousands of Irish peasants who are today considered old stock Liverpudlians
I can't stand maris piper potatoes as I find it's like eating dried flour. I like the yellow flesh ones never found a name on them just in a Welsh bag.

Wowwww!! Thank you Paul; I enjoy seeing happy people enjoying home cooked meals. Your friendships warm my heart deeply. Shalom, Moses.
With Paul's inspiration I just made a meat and potato pie! I wish there were someplace I could post photos. 💚
The cream looks just like what we used to get from a local dairy when I was a child…. Ahhhh the taste….
I love mash , boiled , roast. In any shape or form ! Delicious!

I’m in the U.S. and the only potatoes I know of off the top of my head are russets, red and yukon. Russets are the most popular.
always lovely recipe's from Paul I love home baked food and can spend hours watching Paul, I love baking bread and Paul is a master at that, trouble is, by the time I watch all his lovely videos I don't have time to bake
That cream and milk was so silky and luxurious pouring about from the farm to being the ingredients for the panna cotta.
You are the king of Pies for sure !
Wow What a variety of those potatoes, I love King's in any way prepared, especially fried, how delicious those pies, how do you enjoy each of those fantastic videos 🎉👏🏻✌️😃🤩
A Jersey Benne for me love the taste.
I could listen to PH speak forever……… ☺️💕
Black peas or parched peas was always a fairground food when I was a kid, served in a plastic cup😋
I was brought up on Jersey cow milk . It is healthy and kept me fit and strong even after 75 years
That pie looks amazing ❤
How about with chicken potatoes and carrots...like a chicken pot pie 🥧 😊
Looks delicious love the ingredients and explanation I love meat pie the crust is simple I will prepare one you always gives us the best thanks for sharing Chef I am watching from Amelia's Ward linden town Guyana south America ❤🎉

Why is everyone recommending her recently? Is she like the next Cathy Wood or Warren Buffet? Is she that good?
She's easily one of the top manage'rs in the US right now. If financial genius was a person, she's the one. I know first hand because I use her services too
What makes her different from other advisors. I have worked with some and didn’t like the results I got

Yukon gold are great ... and red potatoes
❤
Great show! However, you website's looks to have been hacked. It refuses to load.

Question: Why didn't you remove the bay leaves and the herb bouquet before you added the pastry cover to the scouse???
Yum!
Now I have to make some, oh yummy! 👩🍳 👌
I love a Yukon Gold! But they might not have them in the UK I live in British Columbia Canada!🇨🇦
We’re spoilt for choice with potatoes… perhaps you’re not in Canada. 🤷♀️🇬🇧
Be nice if he gave quantities but looks fantastic
The best place to get scouse in Liverpool is The Welsford Bistro in the Church of England Cathedral.
Paul. You. Can bake
I've bought your book to use the croissant recipe, please please can you do a video on it, as my butter keeps breaking between folds, I'm using 82% fat butter and 12.5% protein flour please do a video 🙏
Is the taste of the suet crust/dough after baking, gamy or bitter tasting ?
No, why do you think it would?

When does the intro end? 1:53
I would have the stew on it's own with crusty bread ...no need for pie.
Wold someone please tell me what suet is thank you
Isn't buttermilk sour?

Nice strong Masonic handshake from the Northern colleague:)
Not a pie! It's a casserole with a pastry lid!!
If you are from a different culture yes but in his that’s what it is, not the mention his culture is one of those that influenced many other cultures.
I can't stand maris piper potatoes as I find it's like eating dried flour. I like the yellow flesh ones never found a name on them just in a Welsh bag.
😂Bingo wings
Paul seems to have toned his "attitude" down significantly and makes for far better viewing.
not a pie if its not lined with pastry
I think he is good at his job and baking is love but that accent is too much for me
Keep politics off this channel… 🙄🇬🇧
As usual, it looks a bit sloppy and unappealing. I wish Paul would work on his presentation skills.
Just brilliant you troll
Просто можем да се състезаваме
These are comfort foods. Not 5 ☆😅
