@John Gilmore When I was a lot younger...like in elementary school, my sister and I "discovered" Krispie Kreme and spent a lot of our spare change there. Then, a few years later, I discovered Dunkin Donuts. Krispie Kreme ironically does NOT sell anything remotely crispy, never did, and that's why I liked them. These doughnuts are awesome! Especially chocolate caramel
Hate to tell you, Paul, but cheesecake brownies are nothing new. We make them every time we go camping.
Yeah but not with Juniors cheesecake mix! :)
Love this loaf..simple to make..
Wow! I bet Paul had to walk miles after all that cheesecake! Loved the video!
I love Paul Hollywood ❤he always inspired me in my baking like graham Kerr but this was one of my favorite episodes because he looked reinspired
I miss my NY. Hell’s Kitchen by the by is on the Westside. Love this show.
hah, i couldnt wait to leave NYC! there is no green space and it gets too hot and extremely humid. i need my land, my garden, my free range chickens, and most importantly, my fresh air and no more 24/7 noise. my kids have room to play and grow and understand the earth and self sustainability.

I think there may actually be a green space in Manhattan.
Good ol' Betty Crocker been making a brownie cheesecake marble for years. Pretty darn good, too!
Love Paul Hollywood! I also like his openness to change. Go Paul!🎉🍰💜🥮👍🏽
Dough has been opened for years (Brooklyn location) although this particular location is pretty new (but I think even it has been opened for a few years). Anyway, best doughnuts I’ve ever eaten and one of the first places I stop anytime I’m back in NYC. 🍩
This is an old video, was a tv series in the UK. I watched it on tv and I got rid of my tv nearly four years ago.
solatiumz makes sense! I was like what’s going on?! 😂
I've done this many times. It does come out good but mine was never that fluffy and didn't have the big holes. Mine was more dense. But it does have a good crust and tastes good.
I love, this show...I first watched it around 2 years ago and couldn't find it since, it just shows up randomly on the tv and i don't really watch the tv anymore so i could never find it. Its definitely a runner up for one of the best food shows. Sadly Bourdain is no longer around but there's still lots of great shows, hopefully we'll see the Bake Off back and running again with the new host Matt Lucas, and Action Bronsons always comes out with some new food shows -- Gino Da Campo he's had some good ones.
still processing Bourdains death. Just cant imagine that's the end he came to. His death and my husbands the most shocking.
@@taroman7100 Just don't cling to your emotions, my mother is dead, to me death is a whole new adventure, we have a very morbid way of looking at death in our culture.
Absolutely enjoy watching Paul; even his criticism is elegant and gentle (watched him in “Star Baker”(?). This was a very enjoyable show!
Now I have to agree on the Bagels. I don't know if it's the yeast in the air, the water they use. I have no idea but New York bagels are it.
West Coast Bagels are terrible compared to anything on the East Coast.
I also have to agree that New York is a melting pot and makes for unique and interesting food and there isn't anything better than a New York Cheese cake in New York.
It’s the water.
It’s the water. Google NYC water supply and you’ll learn why it’s better than any other water.
Lol lol cheesecake coma..lol I remembered this show.
So pleased it's you...Paul!
Eat for the world...
No blueberry cheesecake 😕it's my favorite cheesecake ever😋
Paul has a great smile and those eyes!
I was struggling with you there Paul with those cheesecakes
Beautiful thank you for this
CLASSIC NEW YORK!!!...."I hear you're a big deal, back in the UK..." HA!
New Yorkers r the most arrogant man on earth fam
Bob Smith no I meant New Yorkers u man think it’s a personality type to be from New York ur not special frr
Bob Smith i don’t care
It's not a personality trait, it's just cultural.
Londoners are more arrogant
Those are big doughnuts. And that bagel theatre place looks fun.
I love cheesecake. Oh and doughnuts, when made fresh. Best thing in the world.
Great program! Are there more of these???
Dough donuts are by far the best donuts I've ever had! The Brooklyn location is wayyyyy better though!
Good to know! I only had them at the Manhattan location.
Love this episode....poppy and lemon doughnuts for me...love the bagel afternoon tea spin....strawberry cheesecake for me and as to the bread I'm gonna have to watch this again source the ingredients and make as it looked amazing and texture of how proper bread should be which sadly in this world of still plastic bagged preservative bread s still sometimes lacking yukkk......thanxx Paul not generally a fan of yours before but hey you may have swung it with this..tke care and Happy Baking...☺☺☺
Sorry to burst the bubble, but I've eaten and made a brownie cheese cake many times...
Obsessed with your show!
Common Sense: Pretty much every place in the USA makes cheesecake brownies. I taught my seven year old granddaughter to make it last week.
Paul Hollywood: OMG, I just invented cheesecake brownies!!! 🤗🤗🤗
That was adorable!!! 🤣😂🤣😂💖
See Jenny Can Cook, her shag dough is the same shaggy dough. I've been baking it in a Dutch oven that way for years, so I doubt that Baker created that style.
I know this show is 5 years old but nobody told Paul that Hell's Kitchen is actually on the WEST side of Manhattan?
And when you call it Hell's Kitchen, some people will give you dirty looks and say, "It's Clinton!"
My favourite thing is that the bakery isn't even in Hell's Kitchen, it's in Chelsea
@John Gilmore
When I was a lot younger...like in elementary school, my sister and I "discovered" Krispie Kreme and spent a lot of our spare change there. Then, a few years later, I discovered Dunkin Donuts.
Krispie Kreme ironically does NOT sell anything remotely crispy, never did, and that's why I liked them. Dunkin, at one time, made crispy doughnuts...now they taste like cupcakes with a hole in the center.
My current favorite is a small chain called Daylight Donuts, they have a few variations Dunkin (as far as I know) does not have. I love the Red Velvet donuts.
@John Gilmore Me, too.
@@howardkerr8174 man, if those are the only donuts you've had then you are in for a great surprise later in life. go to any local bakery, dunkin is basically plastic compared to a good donut.
Great episode - thank you!
With just a little imagination, you too can have doughnuts like Fanny's! :-)
i like it when he explains that things look smaller when they're further away.
Good looking and a foodie! Mmmm
Juniors cheesecake 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 yum! I will have a slice of the Hollywood brownie cheesecake. 😀
