Great job on the build. The bike looks and sounds killer. These RM 250’s are tremendous bikes, I purchased mine brand new in 2002. It’s my all time favorite MX bike. I am going to the grave with it and then my two sons can fight over it’s possession lol👍🏼
Push them, keep building them, talk about them, highlight them, make the manufactures realise that it is time to start produce them again. KTM and Yamaha gets it, why would not someone at the management over at Honda, Kawi, Suzuki change their philosophy.
Cause they reached the developmental peak of the 2 cycle engine for racing and they also wanted to make a bike that costs twice as much for profit reasons. Shame though, the cost of four strokes ruined the whole sport. Chased most of us right out. I havent raced or ridden anything for the last 21 years thanks to prices being twice as much as the best car i can afford.
@@RubbishFPS ktm has proven that they never reached anywhere near the developmental peak of two stroke engines. We have 53hp fuel injected 250s on the showroom floor now. The EPA had a large hand in pressuring manufacturers to abandon two strokes as well as your aforementioned profit margins. That and the fact that the rules being upped to double displacement for four strokes was too much of an advantage not to exploit.
I respect how honest and humble he is about putting it together.
Totally cool that he actually did the work himself instead of have the usual guys do everything.

Suzuki bike builds never get boring! The most beautiful bikes out there. Have 2 Suzuki RMs myself. #Maxima

honda will never make another two stroke. suzuki is foolish for not making one though.
Honda despises 2 strokes. If Suzuki made 2 strokes again, they’d be flying out the dealerships by the thousands.
