Ww2 takes the dub here. I have sympathetic love for Cod WW2 and I don't care if many don't like that game. It really gives a smooth feeling and a Taste of war and is somewhat realistic. It has one of the most beautiful campaigns in any ww2 and everything else is good.
Vanguard is like an appeasing cake then once you taste the sweet flavor you realised it's the most shittest absolute non-masterpiece bullshit that you've every tasted, meanwhile WW2 is like that but at the same time when you taste WW2 it's a bit unhistorical but it's absolute worth to play.
it’s really not. don’t let nostalgia tinted glasses hide the fact that WW2 had absolutely zero immersion, the weapon sounds were horrible, magazine fed m1 garands, no russians or japanese, mg-42 fire rate was horrible on top of millions of other inaccuracies with the weapons that could be solved with a google search. I will say the overall gameplay was pretty smooth but it just looked so tacky. the maps were awful too. vanguard was somehow even worse which will never cease to amaze me. WaW is king

all the players animations like reloads and such from MW2019, coldwar and vanguard feel super uncanny and un human like, as if there character is always rushing and trying to reload inhumanly. but games like ww2, the animations are smooth and satisfying, even if they dont look spec opsy or hyper fast.
Honestly I’m ok without spec ops or tactical (or tacticool) reloads, plus I feel like in a setting such as ww2 the soldiers shouldn’t be doing tactical reloads and stuff because then it doesn’t feel like ww2
The one thing that absolutely made me hate Vanguard was when I realized the Stuka model was the same from WWII (Sledgehammer modelled it with all the attachments from every Stuka variation) and realized that Vanguard is more or less just a port of WWII's assets to the Modern Warfare 2019 engine.
i love ww2 so darn much but i think the ultimate move would to update ww2 with vanguard’s mechanics and graphics, even tho ww2s graphics are still great on the ps5. also it seems to prove me wrong in this video but i swear when i played vanguard i could barely hear the ping noise on the m1 garand and in ww2 it was so loud and wonderful

Everything about Vanguard just screams MW. The guns sound way too modern for 1940s weapons, where as WWIIs guns sound rustic and realistic. Vanguards maps look too modern and out of place for a WW game, unlike WWIIs. Also, Vanguard has no factions. How tf can you make a serious WW2 game without any factions? That alone is enough for someone like me to be instantly put off the game.
Vanguard does have an improvement than ww2, but id say ww2 is better bro, when i got vanguard just after completing the campaign i just already stopped but ww2 here, when the campaign finished, dayum i played it everyday cuz the missions are too good and zussman my fav ngl, wish they remake ww2
There's nothing that is better in Vanguard than in WW2. Cod WW2 should have made a comeback instead of piece of crap Vanguard. Maps, realistic WW2 atmosphere, lobby, DLC's, no awkward guns, COD WW2 was truly a masterpiece.
Both sound like trash, i regret buying both expecting WaW or COD1 quality levels, never another cod from SHG, including mwIII(although they'll reuse IW assets, instead of their horrendous sounds theyve been using since AW)
