@Old Channel Honestly like they could've had an animation where a b29 flys into the field and drops the nuke on top of the battlefield. They didn't even have to call it fatman or thinboy. They could've just called it the mk1 or mk3 nuclear bomb.

Yeah even though ww2 is objectively a bad game…compared to vanguard I’d say it’s up there with at least black ops 3 because at least ww2 tried to stay truthful to the time period and such, vanguard threw all of that shit out the window and wanted to make a ww2 setting with everything from MW2019 (and failed miserably)

I disagree, a lot of those seeming hate are criticisms. And people who expect things from WW2 will of course have them, especially people who have played previous iterations in the franchise to know what's changed and what's not. But I am very sure, since Vanguard is pretty much a reskin of MW19, WW2 is way better than it comparatively. Especially with how Vanguard's schtick is this Avengers spec ops team instead of a more believable WW2 setting.

In the ww2 you can shoot the parachutes so the drops can drop faster. Also works with the paratropers. Also you can shoot down strafing runs the bombers and the turrent gunner. And the drops.

Call of duty WW2 has way more destructive and interactive killstreaks, and the firebombing run is just beautiful.
Not gunna lie, didn’t know that WW2 had controllable strafing runs.
Seems like it would be both really good and not so much at time.

Fun fact, WW2 also has different score streak appearance for both factions, things like what airplane shows up to what bomb is dropped change. You should've definitely included them for added bonus.
Some of them don't tho. Notably the ball turret gunner which is still a B-17 with German markings 💀

It's interesting that in Vanguard they got an actual guided bomb for the Gliding Bomb, but the presentation makes it look so much worse than WWII
In ww2 you got a fritz x if you were on the German side and the American one is an Anzon bomb (not sure if I spelled it right) which was a kit put on normal bombs to make them guided
Hard to believe that WWII had more soul than Vanguard imo.
Not to mention the maps had better roleplay value since you had actual teams and not just 'me vs. them'
Honestly, WWII and MW2019 we're my favorite CoDs to have come out in recent memory. Not of Treyarch games got to me.

Always chuckled at how ridiculous the V2 rocket in both games, they made it like it's a nuke. In reality it's just a bomb, strapped to a rocket.
But the idea of putting nuke warhead on V2 is not far fetched from reality, although it failed.

Tbh I just blame Activision, Sledgehammer were working on Cold War I believe but they got pulled off and started working on Vanguard meaning they had less time overall. Activision has just been really fucky with their schedules recently

The only one I can really give credit to vanguard is the emergency airdrop. But it then loses points because of the normal care package being the same. It should be that the one gets a parachute and the emergency has none because it should seem like you NEED those right now. Other than that WW2 just feels better. Bombs make the map shake to tell you just how strong it was. And the sounds make them actually feel like they are dangerous. Plus there is more attention to detail overall
Also the mortar at least has a cool animation to spawn it in.
The screams of pain in ww2 when you set them on fire is very brutal

If you guys are wondering why was the WWII Nuke less nukey than other CoD games, it's becuase it was a V2 Rocket and not a proper nuke. While Vanguard has a proper nuke since the MP takes place post war (now with S4 the 1970s coz Activision had a identity crisis)
