Seems like a lovely spot! Decent infrastructure, good food and shopping, lots of history.

Yeah, it had all that and more. No doubt issues as well with homelessness and cost of living, but tli liked that other things like transit and bike lanes were seen as accomplishments, rather than annoyances.

I'm glad you enjoyed my city! And there is so much more. I hope you can return soon and spend more time.

Was probably my favorite city as a whole, of my trip so far! I want to come back to see Mt. Hood, try more donuts and explore the rest of the city! :)

Looks like you had fun in my hometown! If you wanna peek at some of the weird, I gotcha covered. Especially the people. I do a people watching project called Sketchy People. You can go walk around Portland from where ever you're at via my sketches! Safe travels and hope to see ya return! If you return to Voodoo, I recommend the Ring of Fire doughnut.

Thanks, I had a great time and it was such a teaser for things to come. That Sketchy People project sounds neat! I'd love to try them all at Voodoo, if I'm being honest.
Thanks for checking out my video! ✌️

I didn't find it too bad as a visitor, but the entire west coast was more then other place I've been in Canada/US.

Not sure what you mean about "my state"? I'm from Canada. 😊
Portland is still wonderful to me, and I spent a lot of time wandering around the streets. Great food, great people and really laid back. ✌️
This is why I wander, to go see places for myself, and not what you see on the news.

Yes, I spent time in San Francisco, Los Angeles and other places in California, and saw them all with my own eyes. Maybe you should visit, before placing judgements?

seems a bit like saying that America used to be a terrible place but now it's gone to hell... or that AMERICANS used to be nice people but they're all awful now... sure, SOME people in SOME places are awful but that's EVERYWHERE and if you've encountered them of course it will colour your outlook on people and the places you met them but it's never the case that ALL people in a place or ALL parts of a place are awful... there are ALWAYS great people around if you take the time to meet them on their terms
