As an outsider looking in, I'm starting to understand why America has these race issues. You have quite literally made a guessing game show that mocks ethnicity. By asking the audience to judge people before they answer is EXACTLY what causes these issues to begin with; the irony of it all!

@Guess Who For the longest time, black people, and maybe some minorites, have been treated poorly in US. You are white so you probably have not experienced harsher things than they have. Racism is still very much alive in America. Many black people have gotten killed by white police. You can't ignore what happened to Breanna Taylor and George Floyd. You say it's a generation thing, but racism was still alive back then. Read about Emmett Till. He's a 14-year-old black boy who got killed all because a white woman lied about him passing advances towards her. A similar occurance happened somewhere this year where a white woman called the cops on a black man for telling her to put her dog on a leash (they were at a park and it was part of the rules) saying he's "threatening" her. She obviously wanted him to get killed.
Even if where you come from doesn't throw hate against black people you cannot ignore events that have taken place in this world. In a way, yes, if you're a good person then that's what matters, but if you're a good person who happens to be black then you will be heavily racial profiled and stereotyped. You can literally google any UA-cam video about a black man being stopped by cops for no reason. It's happened too many times already.
I know you mean well but this is what black people go through and it may as well get worse until something changes. So going back to my statement, it's not that black people are sensitive about their skin color, it's how they get treated.

@@princessbeexxxx The worst part is that at some places actually tell the audience when to applaud or "boo".. such as on Got Talent and other similar shows. So even if something is live, all we (the TV audience) can see are sheep, and we respond accordingly to the bystander effect. It's good for ratings but not good for "good television!"

Now I do not know Australia very well but from what I found, there do not seem to be very many African immigrants. Even a lot of people in Australia who are originally from Africa seem to not be Black African but white South Africans, white Zimbabweans or Northern Africans which are not Black either.
In the US on the other hand 13% of inhabitants are considered Black (even though as a European I find that old racist rule totally strange that even one distant ancestor is enough to make you "fully Black" in the US).
Interestingly, I could not find any hard numbers on Australia which I take as a positive sign because to me it suggests that Australians might be less obsessed with race than the US seems to be sometimes.
As I said though, I do not know the demographics of Australia and only did some quick googling so please correct me if I am wrong on anything.

I'm live a few hours from Sydney and when I was six years old I went to America for a few weeks. One thing that I can actually remember as a six year old visiting New York was noticing that there were many more black people in the US than from where I'm from. At that stage the only people with dark skin I actually knew were our Indian neighbors. I used to enjoy playing with the son who was about my age (and still is), but as a child he was the only darker skinned person I knew - I don't think I met a person of African decent until I was in high school.
That being said, things have changed a lot in the last 20 years - it's a lot more multicultural here now :)
