I love it! Got a random box of 10 guardsmen sitting sad and unpainted for close to two years now because I didn't know what to do them with, but this desert scheme got my attention. Definitely gonna paint them like this now :)
Desert camouflage on uniforms and vehicles has always been my favorite color scheme. The model looks great and the chocolate chip camouflage looks very realistic. Just an excellent job of painting! Thanks for sharing this.
Mine too! The trouble with a lot of these desert-styled 'far future' miniatures is always trying to find an armour colour that'll fit with the aesthetic without adding too much and overpowering the look, but Morghast Bone/Iraqi Sand and similar are easy choices for the most part. This was a lot of fun!
This tutorial is great - desert camo doesn't seem as daunting! And "Blodging On Squigglies: The Sonic Sledghammer Story" could definitely be the title your autobiography.
There wouldn't be much point; I wouldn't paint them any differently to how I've already demonstrated. There's been no huge paint updates or new releases - until they actually release camo paints!
i love the spacenam stuff you've done, might you maybe consider making a spacenam tutorial for something that could be simple where someone would paint 50-60 models? all the ones you have made have camo and other stuff that is a bit time consuming for large quantities. maybe a vietnam style marine OD or something?
You might get a kick out of the latest video just following this one! ;D It's not specific to Spacenam, but I feel like it'll help answer this one in style.
Looks awesome. I'm curious how would marine juice do over some more contrast/speedpaints. Would it unify or darken it down too much? (I might need to experiment)
'It works' is the short answer! The Marine Juice specific video has a couple examples of it over Contrast, along with the Imperial Fist guides I've done recently.
This looks very good. It has a Universal Soldier feel to it.

I like this camo a classic here in the states, another good video Sonic. Btw his eye thing is a bionic eye.

These minis are well done, also if a little too "muscular"
The camo is very effective, except for the silver skull on armour 's center mass (!).😜
Yeah that guy is more of a steroid golem than a human

He's from Reptilian Overlords. Links in the description!
@@SonicSledgehammerStudio thank you.
