If you have Ford C-Max hybrid or Energi and you need to change your engine oil in this video we will explain how to do an oil change on a Ford C-MAX hybrid. We demonstrated how to do an oil change on 2013 Ford C-Max hybrid but the procedure may apply to the whole generation Ford C-Max hybrid. After you do the oil change you will need to reset your oil change due light. The video will be uploaded soon on our channel.

good video! But anyone who missed it like I did. A normal ratchet WILL NOT FIT the drain plug. That's why he uses a box wrench. frustrating if you don't have this
For a 2016 C-Max Energi oil is 0-20 Synth-Blend. As per manual.
look carefully at the oil filler cap - it says 5w-20! in this video
2017 uses full synthetic. I just let the ford dealer do the job with manufacturer recommended parts and fluids.
Where are you jacking up the car with the floor jack and where are you placing the jack stand?

You emptied the oil while the was on the jack causing some of the oil remain in the crank case. You whould have lowered the car and empty the rest of the oil and remove the filter. Then jack the car up, Thanks

I can't believe you are using a fram filter. Then you say that it is a great filter. You are crazy , fram is the worst filter on the market. It used to be ok back 20-30 yrs ago. Fram filters don't even connect the filter to the body of the filter. Then additionally the filter medium is not connected to itself when wrapped around filter center. Horrible filters horrible. The air filters are so so . But guys please , never use fram. Us Bosh or K&N or even STP
