I love the groove oriented riffs in this song...its very similar to something Soilwork would come up with...in fact the main riff reminds me of "deliverance is mine" by Soilwork...thats always a plus.
Saosin vibes for day. That chorus sounds similar to the chorus from Follow and Feel by Saosin. (As my favorite band, I love that Jesse Cash gets his inspiration from Saosin my other favorite band)
Metal Fans: "WHY DID YOU CHANGE YOUR SOUND AND TURN YOUR BACK ON ALL OF US LOYAL FANS WHAT THE FUCK" *Band changes back to the way they were* Metal Fans: "ARE YOU SERIOUS THIS BAND JUST PUT OUT THE SAME SHIT OVER AND OVER" I'll never understand this community I'm in I swear xD
Amad Danial Picture the guitar solo at the end. You're in a predominantly black band house in the early 1900's. Cigars are lit, people are dancing on the dance floor, everybody's laughing, and then you got the cool brotha breaking out that solo and it hits the soul! Makes anybody wanna dance, especially white folks(whitey, like me) Who use to think blues was the devils music. Just what I picture in my head when I hear it. Hahaha
Imo the album as a whole is not as good as Drift or Augment but this song to me is definitely the star, I think even Jesse said this was a personal fave of his
I dunno.. up until the Erra album came out (and the recent Deluxe version) Drift was my favourite album. Only just though. I don't think Erra ever does anything wrong.
@@landennl16 I have another dream tour with Sylar in it and i tried doing a more cohesive listing of bands. All those bands are heavier than Sylar and way more scream oriented. Sylar I love but most people dont. been to many concerts where they are the supporting act and i just here complaints. my dream sylar tour: From Ashes To New Sylar Fire From the Gods Discrepancies
they changed their sound in drift, ppl were upset ; now that they shifted back towards augment, yet ppl once again are upset. seriously ? bunch of dicks
People always want to give their opinion. And their usually stupid or hard to please little twats. "Drift had weak guitar riffs". Neon comes out with every song on riff steroid. Now t hey wanna complain about their songs in general. Let's wait for when their next album to come out "highly experimental", then they'll say "this is shit, i want the neon era back."
In their interviews they said ud like the new album if u liked drift and that they are similar but neons lyrics were darker I personally think neon sounds way different than drift
my personal opinion is that jesse overuses the high, shrill part of his voice way too often he has a unique voice, but i feel it would be best to use his upper register to emphasize intense moments in the song as opposed to using it all the time. i think his vocals were used really well in ghost of nothing, for instance still, overall i enjoyed this song. as a whole this album is far better than drift imo; it has more technicality and dense melodies
Spencer sotelo...... That is all.......lol of course it's coming from the guy with a screen name that has the word periphery in it. Ohh well I'm a true peripheral
This ERRA song has the greatest solo ever on the whole Neon album.
Is it just me or all of Erra's album covers fucking fire?
Oh for sure, this one was done by Mete Yafet. Dude's got some serious talent
That groovy guitar riff when Jesse starts singing is so sick!
Just discovered this band. Destiny might exist.
Destiny definitely exists...you just might have to pay her for her services 🤣
It 💯% exists. This band is like a Beacon, a Signal F🔥re, (pun intended) if you will, for listeners of other great bands
For sure
1 part melody + 1 part brutality = ERRAection
Yes.
I love the groove oriented riffs in this song...its very similar to something Soilwork would come up with...in fact the main riff reminds me of "deliverance is mine" by Soilwork...thats always a plus.
Was just thinking the same thing
Might be my favorite song of the album
Mine too =)
How is this band not more popular??? Wtf??? 🤔🤔🤔
Jesse's vocals are CASH on this one
Steve Aboagye wayyyy better than drift right bro ? It's a good cross of both old and modern ERRA..killed this album imo
Dude it just so happens that Jesses last name...is in fact...CASH
I Agree!
@@Jdogdrums7 so sorry to do this but

pHoTyPHoToN Yesssss glad I’m not the only one who hears it! So cool
first thing that came to my mind
The song Irreversible on the Drift album has saosin written all over it.
Perfect sound
I feel Tool inspiration in some parts. Just me? :p
Right there with you.
It's really apparent, and they pulled it off really well
Yes definitely. Tool has deliberately and even subconsciously inspired thousands of bands and musicians. Especially in the djent scene.
Indeed
i literally dont hear it at all. i must be tone deaf
Album of the year
Bro this band guitar plays is insane like wow

Damn that intro is so good, I love it
The solo at the end is one stone cold fox of a groove. Makes whitey wanna dance.
Jesse Roberts Do i need to ask who or what is Whitey

amazing work you guys, cheers
3:01 this part is so goddamn beautiful ❤️
the guitar sorta feels like a TOOL song on this song
Tool is the father to Erra
Sweet Karnivool vibes right there
They still got it
I really like this track! I was against this album at first but I am really enjoying it minus 2 or 3 songs. Drift/Augment was my shit though.
Groovy af!!
The chorus and lyrics are very reminiscent of Jamie's elsewhere "they said a storm was coming" album
i just found this band and they kickass some, serious ass😮👍
Saosin alive ❤
Perfection ***
so fucking underrated!
Venga a mexico :v
Anyone who’s hating just hit the fuckin road these guys are number one right now and very good reason for it.

hey mom!
Andrew Lein Guitar Covers what
hi son
So, i really feel like their are stuck in the same sound from always, is it just me?
yeah plus that JT guy won't lead them anywhere, band like Erra needs a more versatile vocalist
