Every moment kneels at his feet. Steadfast. Unfluctuating. There is no hesitation. And if you ask, I will follow. With your hands, place grace upon me, so I may not be forgotten. Forging pages of hopes and dreams, for the story I have written. This won’t dissipate uneasiness, but grant me strength in times of sorrow. This time I’ve wasted carelessly. When JT came in at 0:35, I had a gut feeling this song was going to be one of my favourites. But 1:51 just sealed it for me. Absolutely fucking phenomenal.
Same. 1:50 is probably my favorite part on the album.
I've never shot up heroine. But, i imagine it feels like when the drums come in at 0:18.
I figured more like 0:36
Just the fact they have a combination of architects, periphery, polyphia with their own perfection to it just makes this album a 10/10. None of their songs seize to amaze me.
Check out Impulse from 2011 and Augment from 2013. They had their flow long before all of those bands except Misha and Mark from Periph

Am I the only one seeing this song inspired by Warframe? The Character Erra, who at some point becomes the "Eidolons", the parts of the lyrics "Lost within a dream"... it's uncanny resemblance makes this song even more awesome.

I felt like drift slapped way harder than neon.it was definitely a production thing.brian good mixed drift.that thing slaps.neon seemed a little flat.but the songs were bangers tho.need a remastered neon.
@@echoesofether3591 Bryan Hood did not mix “Drift”, he mixed “Impulse” and “Augment”. Nick Sampson mixed “Drift”, and I’ll have to agree that the mix on “Drift” was flat and lifeless. Somehow everyone hated the mix “Neon” got, and I thought it was so clean. However, Carson and Grant NAILED this mix.

JT really expanded his range on this album. I'm very pleased with their sound, the intro sounded like a neat mix of Chon and Northlane. I like the more tonal vocal fry he's using at 2:38, it reminds me of Sam Carter from Architects. Well, their older stuff anyway. Very happy with this album overall.

Getting some really heavy Invent Animate vibes with them putting more harmonics into the background on some of these songs, absolutely love this.

Just by the name "Eidolon" I knew this song will probably be the best in the album.
This album in its entirety might be the first time ever that EVERY SINGLE SONG on the album is a banger to me. I've never felt a desire to just start at the beginning and let it run more than this masterpiece. Fucking bravo, ERRA.

JT got two full songs, this is what new ERRA needed. This is why I love Impulse and Augment so much, Garrison got full songs and it made the albums more versatile.
Hell, even Jesse has a full song here (unless JT has background vocals which I think he does). This album is super diverse.

They deserve so much more attention, they are definitely on ERRA's level as far as emotion, lyrical depth, and musicality go. I've been getting into Thornhill more recently and I'm really diggin' it 🤙

Love hearing the bass here, it adds so much to those Misery Signals-esque guitars and JT's ever expanding delivery.
I just love how the song rings out, it's a perfect blend of hopeful and vitriolic.

Obviously. I'm really hesitant to usually say a song has some biblical undertones but this one is obvious. I actually think it might be alluding to the crucifixion specifically. Hence "Last rites spoken in pantomime", "Bound to his throne", "Remember my name". If that is true, it is honestly very epic. Metal definitely is a great vessel for the more sorrowful parts of Christianity. I mean shit, I could write a whole metal album using verses from the old testament.
