    Nice Eric. Thirteen years ago I owned a very successful PW business in Tampa, FL. . Just outright purchased a complete rig on a whim. Got it home and my neighbor said WTF is this? To which I replied. "I'm a pressure washer guy. "He asked me how much to do his driveway? Nothing, I'll do it for practice and fun. A guy down the street came by asked if I would do his driveway. While doing that another guy asked me if I could do his house. Lot's of panicked phone calls to PW supply companies, but it just kept going, and going, and going. Then the wife split and I sold the business. Long story short, at the tender age of 69 and not having PW'd in 13 years I bought a trailer, got a 130-gallon tank for free, and a soft wash system from PressureTek up in Ohio. Everything should be here next week.
    Your video helped me a lot. I couldn't remember a lot of stuff and was making calls to my old friends in Tampa. Your video answered a bunch of questions for me. Thanks.
    I always enjoyed making stuff clean and seeing the customer's face when it was done.

    Great breakdown! I will say this.... If someone decides to start with a 4 gpm pressure washer, they’re around $1000. I go back and forth between down streaming and 12. I like the 12 volt because I have total control over my mix rate but I can move a little faster down streaming on bigger, taller homes.

    Love the explanation and I thank you very much only recommendation I see is when running wiring to your truck, install a fuse circuit on the positive to protect your truck very cheap like max $10 that's to avoid frying anything if your cable ever rubs or gets cut. Protects both your truck, pump and fire.

    Excellent video! My plan is to soft wash roofs out here on the west coast. I already work full time, but have 3 day weekends every other week, so this will be a spare time job for me and my 16 yo son. I do have a short list of questions if you don’t mind? I hate to think they have been asked before, but haven’t found the answers: where do you purchase your SH, surfactant, deodorizer of you use any and what type of face mask are you using? Thank you very much for taking the time to make these videos, it’s appreciated man!

    • @YoungAmbitionYA
      @YoungAmbitionYA  3 роки тому +1

      What's going on brother! Sounds like a good plan to me! I get my SH from local pool supply stores by the pallet. Others are more fortunate to live near wholesalers who deliver barrels to their door, some have local spots where it dispenses from something very similar to a gas pump! I wish I had that. You'll have to search and see what's best around you. One way or another you should find some. Surfactant and deodorizers can be bought at any online wash shop - try powerwashstore.com for starters. I have another video coming this week about a different setup for your truck... it's the style I use and recommend. I wouldn't waste my time batch mixing like in this video! Cheers!

    Nice job bro. I learned and made my own Softwash setup going on 2yrs now. I noticed I'm always tweaking something to make it better. The 12v pumps have a 1/2" female so I u need 1/2" male pvc pipe thread to 5/8" hose barb or if u want 1/2" hose barb whatever one your going to use for the Softwashing hose. I also use 5/8" flexzilla garden hose for my Softwash hose and for fresh water hose I like them cause they're lite and flexible. I also recommend a filter 1/2" male to 1/2" female find the on Amazon. I don't like fiberglass ladders cause the fiberglass will breakdown after awhile and give off tiny fiberglass shards that will cover your hands and body and they get into your skin oh its painful! I had them. Never again. I'll stick with Aluminum ladders lighter and last longer. I have 21ft, 32ft and 8 ft folding ladder.
