What’s up man, I followed your advice & got with Jimmy picking up my unit this month. Always appreciate the honesty of your videos. Not too sure if you still see the comments of old videos, but preciate all that you do my dude. When I link up with J Hall I will get him to give you a ring.
I’ve been eying your ball valve gun since I saw you using it. I’ve had a carpal tunnel release on my right hand, and I’m now due for the left hand. I really think this will help out with pain/fatigue. Thanks for showing the build!
Ray, really am gaining a LOT of knowledge from ur vids. I'm 49 (soon to be 50) and starting to feel those aches/pains. Can u please list those swivels, adapters, etc. So that I know exactly what to order? If not then thanks anyways for ur time and sharing ur earned knowledge. U will be blessed (and I'm sure) are blessed for doing so. Edit: I'm going to watch again- shud b able to write all down what to get and where. Dave in KY
This I'd the exact video I needed. Just about to start my pressure/softwash business and I bought one those Northern Tool softwash system but I hate the hose that it comes with also the gun doesn't swivel so I have to fight it every little move I make. Thank you.
I’ve added a ball valve on my softwash which help when dragging hoses and rolling up, I disconnect the gun and helps when I’m off trigger and the gun leaks.
Yes sir that high pressure ball valve set up is great!! that is the same way I run mine and ever since I have gone to that I haven’t gone back to a gun!!
Thanks for the great video. I’ve been looking to replace my current Softwash gun and I’m going to try this one out. Also, I use tape and true blue on all my fittings as well and never have a problem.
Can you use these gun setups on a regular 4gpm 4200psi setup? You carry such knowledge and am super grateful for. These videos. About to start out in south Florida
@@RaymondNotario I swapped to the pressure setup and I have to say that I love it. It is so much nicer to use than my old setup. I'm gonna swap my soft wash gun out for your setup here soon.
Question. Can you use that pressure washer hose setup to rinse your chemical off a house with oxidation? Would that be too much pressure or can the tip adjust to a point where you can safely rinse without running the risk of removing some of the oxidation? I'm just curious because I use the 12 volt to apply chem and would like to use my pressure washer to rinse. Thanks!
where did you get your hoses at? i'm looking for a hose for my pressure washer and a hose for my soft wash, if you could help me out that would be awesome! looking at the cox reels now
Thanks for the video I use a 1/2 banjo poly male camlock in my gun for my gas roof pump and 12v and I have a female banjo camlock with 1/2 cut off valve to 1/2 barb! This allows me to change out guns and to cut flow on off and so I can crank up my gas roof pump without pulling the trigger on the gun just leave valve open on the end of my hose! I can reel hose up without leaving gun on the end because I can easily disconnect!
Question about that black handle ball valve. I just bought one and when my machine gets pressure that handle is damn near locked and i cant get much leverage with it. Do you use wd40 or pbblaster to help ease that valve?
For the Pressure Washing side of the DN 10 ball valve is it supposed to be a quarter inch quick connect at the end not three eighths? My bad I was thinking the Quick connect from the hose was the same size as what you put on the gun never mind it’s a quarter inch. Thanks for the video bro.
New to the channel and new to pressure washing. trying to get in the game and this hose setup is great. carpal tunnel is no joke. ill be leaning on you for for info. thanks.
Greetings from malaysia. Need ur advice on whats the best solution to remove bat guano from a painted wall. Thakns in advance. Super good job uv done ray boy.
Hey Ray! I have somehow missed your channel and discovered it last week. You have some of the best content out there for pressure washing peeps! Really great stuff, keep it up and keep inspiring us newbies! One video I would love to see you do would be a typical onsite quote process or an upsell process. There is no real content on selling or upselling pressure washing services and it would be a great help. Anyhow, keep grinding Brother!
Hey ray you’re my go to channel for good PW info.. just wondering, what would you use the pressure washing gun for vs the soft wash side? They look to have roughly the same flow and pressure with that m5 tip... the PW gun more or less looks like your soft wash rinse..
Brother great content. I just posted my ball valve set up on wash life everybody slammed it bc I had the same adapter set up on the end for 1/4” everyone in there said man that too much steel lol thanks for the back up! Bet you won’t hear nothing
I really like the pressure washer gun idea I would use it if not for employees bc of the auto shutoff like you siad. Looking forward to the new chem video!
Ray for that ball valve set up are all those fittings high pressure? What PSI do you run by the way, I see the DN10 is 3000. I am running a 4000 machine.
hey man where do you find those twist wires that you have on your truck that help hold things down? Ive seen them on skids before just havnt been able to find them in store.
I am new and looking to start a small part time business with hopes to build up enough clients to do this full time. I will be starting off with a small set up. But can that shift wash gun be set up to use on pressure washer to so soft washing or will I need a dedicated soft wash system?
I have a question that may not pertain to this setup video. Anyways, what do you do before hand on a house for windows that are not sealed well? This question is eating at me big dawg.
Lightly apply and rinse. And I mean lightly. If you have the M5 fan all the way out. And make sure it’s in your terms and conditions that you’re not responsible for the maintenance upkeep and any leaks or water intrusion that may happen.
@@AutoDudes That is kinda how I was thinking. I just wanted to be sure. Do yall make customers sign a waiver before service? Which would include damages to property such as leaks, electrical shortages, dead grass..etc.
Do you think a pressure washing business is viable in a hot dry climate? I live in Arizona where it's fairly uncommon to see organic material growing on surfaces. Are there go to alternative services to offer in dryer climates?
Hey Ray, Just on the adapter after the ball valve, is there a reason you didn’t use a 3/8quick connect to 1/4 female thread? Instead of using that adapter piece? Or do you need it?
Why not just use an open gun with a DN10? I’ve got 2 Suttner open guns that are at least 6 years old, and I’ve got one J Adams open gun that’s around 3 years old. You still get the benefit of having a gun, but you’re not constantly having to squeeze a trigger. After years and years in this business the arthritis in my hands is horrible. Switching to an open gun with a ball valve is a game changer. Also, Teflon tape is for rookies. Medium threadlock or pipe dope only.
Hello Mr Raimond, where can I get the 1/2 inch swiwel and the viton gun that you show in the video, thanks
