I love these tires on my 501. They’re the best I have found for here in Oregon. I don’t even browse through the tire section anymore lol. I haven’t tried the fatty front just the 90/90.

I’m surprised you run that much pressure in your tires. I’m usually running between 15-13 psi front and rear.
I liked my GoldenTyres. Lately, I haven’t been using dot tires. I’m on the geomax tires now. I have also been using IRC M5B’s in the back. I have no complaints with any of those tires. I will say the GoldenTyres lasted the longest.

Great feedback! Just the kind of info I was looking for, I'll definitely try dropping my tire pressure down as that will make for better grip and ride! Glad to hear what you currently use, but also that you had good a good experience with Goldentyre. Thanks again!

IRC tires are one of my favorites for offroad use. I actually currently have the VE33s on the rear and the Dunlop AT81 gummy on the front. Amazing performance. The VE33 rear and M5B front is one of my all time favorite combo’s out here in Idaho

@@oregonmotojohn If you're running Tubliss, I'd recommend 4-7psi rear, and 8-12 in the front. don't be afraid! you'll be just fine, unless you're doing 50 mph in the rocks

HD tubes, and 15psi for pavement and faster fire road riding, 12 front, 10 rear for single track and trail riding. I’ve had so many hard square edge hits and never had a pinch flat.

I just used them for a 1800 mile trip on the Oregon section of the T.A.T. to part of the Idaho BDR. They preformed well, but I think the rear tire wore out a little too soon. I definitely liked the front fatty because it worked well in the sand. My next set will be a Kenda Parker DT for the rear and Golden Tyre fatty up front.

I got 1200 miles mixed use on mine. I was running 25ish dual sporting and around 15 when on the trails. I probably could have gotten another 400 miles out of them. I felt like they were the best tires I've ever had with good grip everywhere. That being said I recently switched to Motoz Tractionator IT rear and Tractionator ST front. They have very similar knob patterns to the GT333 and GT216 but with a different compound that is supposed to last much longer. We'll see I guess. The good news is if I don't like them I know where I'm going next!

Your front almost appears to be a 80/100/21, is it the 90/90/21? Thanks!
