How is there a meaningful difference between the 4060 and the 4070? Even in gaming they're at best ~20% apart but they have both 8Gb of Vram which is the much more important metric when it comes to 3D modeling.
Could you help me? What graphic card would be better to: Plan in AutoCAD Export into SketchUp to build model and assign materials/colors Export to Enscape to refine the materials reflectiveness/texture/etc and add lighting effects Use Photoshop to refine as necessary and to add People into the rendering Thanks!!
Hi, I have bought this laptop with specifications CORE I7 13700H, RTX 4060, 1TB, 16GB DDR5 for my design, 3D modeling, and rendering work as it was recommended to me. I wanted to ask if it is normal for the laptop's temperature to range from 50° to 60° during normal use like browsing the web, watching videos, office work, etc. And when I use programs like V-Ray, it reaches more than 90° with the fans at full speed. I have never had a high-end laptop and I don't know if this is normal for a new one. Thank you
Upgraded my 2016 HP ZBook 17 G2 i7-4810MQ 17” FHD Quadro K1100M (never saw any errors or crashes here in Windows 10 even with own upgraded 32 GB RAM) to the: HP ZBook Fury 16 G10 (62V64EA) i9-13950HX NVIDIA Quadro RTX 4000 ADA, 1920×1200 IPS the power is wonderful! HP Price was 4.937,00 € and got it for 3.499,00 € BUT annoying: the 5600MHz ram will only run @4000Mhz I did know this before buy..
I'm A lighting designer, I need a laptop that I can Use for complex CAD software for creating designs, but also run a 3D lighting visualiser which is pretty process heavy, and also needs to be a touch screen, and have a numeric keypad for programming.. quite specific needs.. Losing my mind trying to find something that meets all
My new Lenovo Legion Pro 5i (gen 8) also runs on i9-13900HX/RTX4070 with 32GB DDR5 5600 so not only Legion Pro 7i or Legion 9 are equipped with Intel i9 CPU.
Still happy with my zbook g5 studio with Quadro p1000 vga.. Whether i open solidwork with the rendering portion, acad or eplan p8.. No big deal to open them with 16gb ram.. just setting that apps open with Quadro, not Intel hd..
Hello, what do you think about HP Spectre x360 2-in-1 Laptop 14' (intel core ultra 7 155h iGPU) ? I prefer the 14' to be able to use it as a tablet in a practical way but also i need to be able to do 3D Modeling (Like Revit) and photoshop. Can you help please? Thanks in advance
Hi there! Have you tested the Lenovo p16s AMD series laptop? Do you think they are powerful enough for 3D modeling and video editing beyond the beginner/student requirements with 32 GB memory and 1tb space? Specifically the 21K9001MUS model. Would love to get your feedback!

Can you help me to decide Which laptop is better for interior design, HP Omen or MSI Katana? * HP Omen: Intel Core i7-14700HX (14th Gen), NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 (8 GB) * MSI Katana: AMD Ryzen 9-8945HS, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 (8 GB) I use 3D max, Corona render, Autocad and Adobe programs
Is the Asus Flow x16 (rtx4060/4070)okay for multi tasking ? AutoCad,Sketchup(or enscape) w/Vray and photoshop? And microsoft office? 😅 The only reason I'm entertaining it is that the tablet feature is helpful in doing punchlist and even for on site presentation😅 but if not, i'm sticking w legion or zephyrus😅

Please I'm looking to buy a laptop for blender or 3d modelling in general. What do you think of the MSI pulse gl66? It has 32gb ram, 11th gen core I7, rtx3060, etc but I'm hearing that the display panel is poor

Hi! Grate video as always! Nice work! So I'm just wondering why you didn't mention the Asus Zephyrus M16 (2023) in this video. I'm an architect and I'm looking to buy an M16 (with an Rtx 4090 I hope...) and as I didn't saw it in our review I'm wondering if there is something that you wouldn't recommend towards that model. And to give more in-depth to the question I just wanted to know you point of view about this laptops with the Graphisoft Archicad (because you mentioned Revit and Solid Works but I think that at this point Archicad should not be put aside those programs). And with this thought I think it would a grate benefit mention the Epic Games Twinmotion too and the compatibility with these two programs. And I'm saying this because I'm seeing rtx quadros falling in rendering (specially with Twinmotion) and going towards the rtx 4090 4080 and the 4070 (despite the lack of vram) getting better results (please notice that I'm talking about the intersections between Archicad and Twinmotion, I have no doubt that quadros will work better in revit and solid works solo, and even if I'm considering Archicad without the rendering process of Twinmotion). So please, this is not a criticism, I was just thinking about what would be yours approach to something like this (a 3d modeling program in connection with a rendering software with a powerful gaming engine). And just know why you re not referring the Archicad in your reviews. Thanks you so much! Nice work as always!

You're forgetting something really basic... opening large CAD assemblies requires tons of RAM. This guide is totally useless since you only go up to 32GB models, and 64GB models are nigh on impossible to find with DDR4 as it requires 4 DIMMS. Glad you at least said to use A-series GPU for 3D modelling because driver and API support on regular ATX cards is poor and you're super duper gaming card will just crap itself.
No one ever explained ram before in such a way that makes sense to me, until now. Thank you!
This is exactly what I needed thank you so much for taking the time to do this!
you forgot to edit out the retake where you messed up the years in the first few seconds of the video

Would not touch anything with an AMD CPU.
Why? The intel CPU's give you a 1.5 hours of battery life, which doesn't make it a real portable laptop if you can't work on battery. So, why not AMD?
