Keep the ride height since it make you feel happy. Just think of CV boots as a 24 month maintenance item .

Your theory is 100% correct. Before I got my F36 lowered, my research did say lowering the car too low will damage my xDrive axel because you are changing the optimal suspension geometry of the axel et all. I did lowered it but just 1" lower at the front and 0.8 rear

Hmm.. I know CV boots are a somewhat known issue with these cars. But I'd think every shmo running around with H&R's on the bump stops would have the same issue. Maybe they do and just don't know it, lol. Looking forward to your tutorial on how to re-boot! Keep up the solid content man.

After getting my hands on the OEM part and comparing it with aftermarket, I think the possibility of failure due to aftermarket boot "robustness" is a definite possibility. Next video outlining the comparisons dropping soon! Thanks for the support!!

@@maxelnoyl3597 yea I owned a formula red ‘92 coupe MT that I built the engine on an turbocharged. Sold that then bought a FR ‘95 targa that I was planning on doing a bunch to but really just lost interest halfway through the build. I have build threads on both on NSXprime… I’ll see if I can dig them up. I regretted selling both and if it’s one car that I could have kept it would have been the turbo ‘92. But I got over it and honestly I would choose the 997 Turbo over either NSX I owned. It’s just such a good platform with a DNA shared with an iconic LeMans winning engine.

Expensive solution, try putting on aftermarket lower coffin arms and possibly put in the BBI spacers on the hub to help the angle on the input into the front diff. These are great cars, mine is ticking over 86K and still going strong
