    You know what I just thought would be super cool on this channel? If on each opening, there's a subtle text in the corner that says the name of the opening used and the defense used. For less experienced players, we may get a feel for which opening is our style if we see a certain player use it a lot! Or if we notice a pattern with their games, etc

    Sometimes when I see this channel I feel like this is the way chess was always meant to be played. I mean, in a social environment like a cafe, chilling, trashtalking, on a cheap mat and a set of plastic pieces, over a reasonable amount of time. I love good old classical chess and I watched the whole WCC match between Ding and Niepo and they are amazing but I don't know, this somehow feels 'right' in a way the professional world stage doesn't.

    Maybe the big surprise is how long was Carlini able to hold Fabiano Caruana to even according to the evaluation bar. He took it deep into the middle game. That's got to be worth something against a Super-GM. The amateur player eventually plays bad moves, obviously, while the Super-GM just bides his time until the inevitable mistake.

    • @gugalha
      @gugalha Рік тому

      No, when king go to f1, rook go to f2 and it's mate. And even if you missed the mate, pushing the rook to d1, then king go to g2, then rook to g1, then king to h3, then white king go to f2. Here, black would have to make a random move because his king is trapped. And finally, rook to g3, mate.
