    Great video. Maybe a similar conversation around the spare tire fit? Unless your mall crawling, a spare the same size is a must have.

    Great video. This type of attention to detail is why I went with Icons and probabaly always will. The 35x11.5 I have seen pop up recently. Was thinking of trying some out on my 15 f150. Thoughts? Its leveled 2.7" roughly with control arms, 17" Rebounds with +6mm offset per Icons recommendation.

    Would be really interesting to see a 34x10.5 on a 25 or 0 mm wheel. Toyo and bfg comes in that size.

    Thanks for the excellent video! I’ve been waiting for this! The referenced tire size cannot be “ideal” as the iForce Max Tacomas cannot fit a 17” wheel. Unless, I’m mistaken?

    Good info. Although just by looking at the aftermarket wheels offset is just one side of the equation, one would also need to check the factory wheel offset, it’s the delta that is the key information to tell how much the wheel is being pushed outwards.

      We understand that different trims have varying offsets, the TRD Sport (as seen in this video) has a 60mm offset, TRD Pro has a 25mm. Depending on the trim, this will change the distance in which the tire is being pushed out. We will know more as we get our hands on them!

    One thing imo, we may need to pay additional attention to those reeeeeally tight clearance taking into account doing AirDown for offroad😉

    Awesome, awesome video. I'm looking at a '25 4Runner Trailhunter. I will never have the suspension compressed fully (not even close, most likely). Would you recommend the 35x11.50R117LT for that if I am wanting a wider-diameter tire, in general? Thank you!

  • @unbobweavable
    @unbobweavable Місяць тому

    great video thanks! Does the custom suspension work you did affect scenario #1? or do you think a +25mm offset with 285/70/17's work up front with stock suspension in the 24' OF? I realize you did this on a TRD Sport, which comes with 18" wheels...

    Super silly question from a new to topic person, but is this a non lifted TRD Sport? Curious if 17 inch wheels will fit even though stock is 18 on trd sport. Thanks for any help!

    Any idea if the offset is the same for the off-road vs the sport? Would the 25mm be best for the off road as well to have minimal poke?

    Tons of good info! Kinda disappointed that you guys didn't show a 33 on a zero offset. Some of us guys don't want to go 35 and are perfectly fine with a 33 but want that small amount of poke.

    I apologize if this was mentioned in the video as i may have missed it, but is this test being performed on stock ride height or is this lifted? If it's stock, would a small lift change anything regarding tire size fitment? Great video by the way. Thanks!

    Great video!! Can you tell me what offset will allow me to get 285/70/17 right to the edge of the fender flare with little to no poke. It's hard to tell in your video, but it looks like the 25mm offset will achieve this. or would 35mm offset be better?

  • @KaptKevin
    @KaptKevin 3 місяці тому +1

    Since this is at full compression, fitment should otherwise be more generous, correct? I’m wondering about 35s if only going to full compression occasionally. Thanks again for the video! This is by far the best one on the topic so far!

      Going to full compression just once is enough to damage if you don't have the clearance. Still have to trim for 35's.

  • @Ubie1-1

    I would wonder how this would work with the 255/85/r17 (34.5/10/r17) Baja Boss A/T's would fit. I would hazard a guess that it might even require no trimming or very minimal trimming to the front since the 35/11.5/r17 with +25 offset cleared the back. Also not sure if you mentioned, what ride height over factory suspension is being run in this video?

      There's the part where he says his Icon control arms move the wheel forward. So yeah, it would rub in the front. There's also the part where he didn't remove the bracket in the back because of reasons. There is not the part where the OEM wheel is +55. So yeah, the story remains to be told.
