    Congratulations!! Water in the house (the plumbing not the roof)!! Must be such a good feeling to get to this stage!! Keep up the good work! Love the gates and matching stone columns on the house/gate! I think it looks really nice! Another great idea you came up with!

    Looking good. Seems like just yesterday you started to build. Guess it shows what it like if your hire the correct person to arrange the build. Will be nice to be in your own home.

      Yes, we were fortunate to find these builders, truly a crap shoot when searching.

    Good luck with that roof leak. We had three separate roof repairs until it finally stopped. Bummer on that bath tile- but safety first! Thank you for sharing your first flush with us. And thank you for being fully clothed when you did.🤣🤣🤣
    And damn fine looking gate!

      Thanks Greg, they repaired the roof again late last week, but no rain yet. No faith in it being right, but we will see. The tile took 2 days to remove and replace, so the cost shouldn't be too crazy, and it was the right thing to do no matter what the cost. Wait for the shower demo!

      3 meter copper rod. I showed it on a video in a concrete box outside.

    That mango will want to fruit first year, but best to take the flowers off this season and give the plant a chance to develop proper roots for later years. Try telling your wife it's the right thing to do and wait to be told you're wrong "not Thai way" 😢😅

    G'day Kenny and Sompit, always enjoy the videos. House is looking good. Time to start shopping for furniture and the like or has that already happened?

      Fridge is sitting in the kitchen in the box waiting for painters to finish and washer/dryer delivery any minute today. Sofa, bed, desk, and maybe a TV havent decided yet on that.

      Yes, that's the plan, not sure how to do that and not show the same content as the 5000 other Thailand vloggers.

    Maybe try invisathread or liquid traction to make those tiles non slip…

    Kenny, could you put a non-slip sealant over the tiles instead of ripping them up. Just a thought. Have a great day.

      Someone else suggested that, and Sompit suggested it to Duke, he just said, "no, we will replace it." Yet to know if it was at my expense or his.

      I would have simply used the appropite primer, then tiled straight over the existing, which is what I have just done, to cover up the dizziness affect of the floral tiles. I see you have a small step down into the bathroom area, so no level issues, why waste a good tiled sub base ! 👍

    We had the same problem with the bathroom tiles, we bought similar tiles and at first they were real slippy but after a few week they was ok, my mother in law did clean everyday, so maybe there is a finish on them that fades after a while?

    Everything looks great, but I'm wondering if we need to send you new shorts? Those look a bit wore.

      @ParadiseNThailand  2 місяці тому

      Lol, brought 5 pair just to wear during the build. Now trying to get them to last until the end of the build. Down to three pair and they are barely rags! Thanks for watching.

    Flashing is likely the issue, either poorly fitted or didnt put it on for that car port roof...had a Thai friend build an extension each time it rained her wall was a waterfall....no flashing...

    • @ParadiseNThailand
      @ParadiseNThailand  2 місяці тому

      They added flashing late last week, no rain yet so we'll see.
