I can always tell if the movie is bad by how exhausted Alex looks
Yeah and I’m not surprised they didn’t like it. Marvel has been bad since endgame with the exception of Spider-Man and even Spider-Man bored me. No way home was just fan service and fan service is cool but I’m not gonna watch that again.
He always looks like that
Dude hates everything. I have yet to see what he likes besides ep 3 of the last of us.
@@grogu411 I agree NWH actually made me mad coming out the theater. Second one was MoM . Both promised fan service and the hype was crazy. And the pay off was horrible. Killing off aunt may making Peter a orphan. Not using Tobey and Andrew in the whole film which was a once in a lifetime thing. “Saving the villains” plot/ want my friends to go to college plot and the dumb conclusion.
Wanda killing the Illuminati man those movies really pissed me off haha 😂😅
He stays looking like that I mostly ignore him
Who knew that a multiversal conquer, one who killed various versions of the avengers numerous times (including some of their heavy-hitters), was weak to a bunch of ants that were borderline magical in their cognitive capabilities, rose to a class 2-type civilization (on the Kardashev scale) and somehow maintained the strictest of loyalties to the protagonists despite being stuck in the quantum realm for a bloody millennia due to the protagonist's fault?! Goddammit, that third act killed most of my brain cells.
“Dude just chill out”
That chekhov's gun really killed the movie for me
Hank: hey audience look at these cool ants that can make their own tech in this ant farm these totally won’t save our lives from a multiversal conquerer at the end of the movie 😉
I couldn’t stop myself from sighing nor face palming you are spot on what a mess.
Here is one for you: Every Kang is going to be weaker than last one. Because we already saw most powerful Kang. Not even ifinity Stones can touch him. This Kang was In Loki season 1. The one who remains won Multiverse war (other Kangs).
A part of me really wishes you were lying. The new main antagonist of the MCU can be beaten by ants. Phase 5 is fucked.
That was Kang the Concurrer. The most agreeable of all the Kangs.
An underrated comment
The Quantum Realm in the previous films is accessed only by becoming smaller than atoms, it's supposed to be a place where the rules of space and time don't apply yet in this film it's treated like a typical alternate dimension or something. It seems to me that Phase 4 has a habit of retconing established things set in the Infinity Saga.
@@EventualWarlord Yes true but my point still stands.
@@EventualWarlord
Tomato Tamato. Point stand Phase 4 and 5 suck
It's not the rules of nature. It's the nature of time.
@@JellisX891 Whatever, my point is that the Quantum Realm in this film has been retconed from what we saw in the previous films.
@@Bmhtsos18 Different characters mention that including Hank, Michelle pifer mentioned something about "hank never went deep enough" idk but yes I agree how in Antman 1 you had to be extremely tiny to go there and I thought only antman could do it
I feel like whoever came up with this backstory for MODOK also came up with the horrible take on Taskmaster from Black Widow. Just killin characters. Sure it's MODOK, but the point stands.
Unfortunately we will be seeing more of taskmaster in Thunderbolts
In my own canon that's not Taskmaster that's sword lady in costume
@@Ratvivor get outta here, are they actually bringing taskmaster back after that travesty!? LOL
yup I’m definitely avoiding mad stuff around this phase
They keep ruining these characters…… It’s very sad some of my favorites ones get treated like crap
@@MarcusBakerX97 maybe we'll get lucky and it'll be the real Taskmaster.
If I’m being honest, I’m absolutely ready for Marvel to go on a year long hiatus, minimum.
They did back in 2020.
@@achaudhari101 alright then, two year hiatus, and maybe not due to a global pandemic.
Not a bad idea
Yeah right. Then people will be complaining about the hiatus.
Can’t wait for DC to take over the superhero landscape man
..I missed Luis. It's not the same without him. Deserved at least a cameo in the first minutes of the movie
Facts I forgot abt him
Rolled my eyes like the 3rd time one of the protagonists got the drop on a Kang henchman because they were inexplicably not searched and stripped of their tech/weapons.
I was just thinking about this😂 walking them through the hall and all of the sudden they kick their knees and escape
I’d hate to have legs around these people 😂
Wait, how many times did someone escape the henchmen in this movie? I want to watchbit again just to count lol
@@grinningwombat 2 times I believe but I can’t remember, once was Cassie and the other one was the grandma
Uh, you know that only happened like ONCE?
The longer they talk about this movie and the more I look at Alex‘s face the more I’m convinced this is blow a 5/10
I mean you can practically feel his depression
Do you notice that Joe tries to shut Alex down and put him down then gets scared and backs down 😂 Alex doesn’t fight back because of course Joe is his boss lol
@@VastoFlo13 see I love this channel and subscribe to the channel because it was different from a lot of the other ones out there, having three different perspectives was always awesome, but yeah Joe has a tendency to shut them up and talk over them… A lot
Did you see the review of rings of power? It got really, really bad. So much so that the audience was talking about it in the comment section so much that Joe had to address it… Not that he actually did anything about it but complain
@@JackEverton101 the three of them together is awesome but Joe sometimes goes to extreme and wants to show power. He is legit a man child lol. Do you ever notice he always wants to stand out when he talks about celebrities, or gamers by saying yeah I know them, they are good friends of mind or I predict that would happen 😂. He is funny but like I said a man child 95% of the time
@@VastoFlo13 well yeah… he never had to get an actual job and isn’t humbled by the normal life you or I live. He literally plays videos games and watches movies for a living 😂. And yes i’m super jealous hahah
@@VastoFlo13 I hate how Alex or OJ will be about to make a great point but then get interrupted
I refuse to believe this Kang killed a single Avenger.
Kang is all bark & no bite!
lost to fkin ant-man the guy who got clowned by his entire family that belittled his accomplishments like a loser earlier in the SAME film lol.
@@MarcusBakerX97 technically he lost to those hyper intelligent super ants that'll probably end up conquering everything in the known universe if they developed tech to escape the quantum realm
@@romitch18 Yeah…..still a big bummer that can’t be taken in serious direction, they definitely felt like a plot device tbh
What’s sad is that we went from the greatest mind of the generation “Tony stark” faced with a life and death 2 week deadline, making armor out of his redemption arc to now 2 girl college students in back to back films that can make his style of tech and quantum devices in their garbages LOL
@@MarcusBakerX97 like how are they making tony level suits in the garage, that is utter nonsense.
I like how they explained why they understand the quantum people. In other MCU films, all aliens from the universe speaks english or they just can understand one another immediately
I agree that was a good way to explain it at least
Can't the likes of Thor speak all languages in the canon? Godly beings are omniscient, whilst advanced alien civilizations beyond humanity would either have knowledge of all languages or a way to translate them.
Did al 4 of you miss the 3 scenes showing why and how they can all understand eachother? Wow
The psychic powers of him tossing people around and the explosion ability alone was enough to beat everyone. They really dropped the ball with Kang the Conqueror. This needed a tragic ending to show how dangerous Kang is.
Someone should've died sacrificing to keep Kang in the quantum realm. Thought it was gonna be Antman and the Wasp, but nope, got portaled back. Maybe if they don't have the guts to kill Antman and the Wasp, they should've killed both Hank and Janet, or just Janet. Just someone.
@@akmal94ibrahimCassie should have been the one to die. That would be so heavy and set the tone for the next phase. But Disney ….
Marvel needs a break, no more shows no more crossover movies. Just take a year off and focus on individual characters and their own classic villains. It’s become very over saturated at this point
Nah bruh we gotta pay Brie Larson next for more marvel time next time you know Kamala Khan is gonna beat a version of Kang next 😂
Fuck it let it die
i'm ok with the shows(not the quality) but the movies......
No thanks after this I don’t want to watch a movie which is superhero fight bad guy, bad guy gets upper hand and superhero comes back and wins in final 3rd, you need crossovers now can’t go back to boring tiny no stakes films
They already are.
Hollywood reporter..
After years of Marvel and Star Wars movies and shows inundating screens big and small, Disney is putting the brakes on the output of some of its biggest franchises and brands following Bob Iger’s Feb. 8 comments that the company needs to be “better at curating” franchise content that’s “extraordinarily expensive.” Added Iger: “We want the quality on the screen, but we have to look at what they cost us.”
The movie should have ended with Kang's victory and Ant-man and Wasp stuck in the quantum realm (or with one of them dead). Moreover, I thought that Kang the conqueror eventually becomes "he who remains" (from Loki season 1) given his fixation with creating and maintaining the "sacred timeline". 🤔
I fully agree that Kang should’ve nearly killed Scott and his family sacrifice their way out of the quantum realm in order to save him…..But nah let him get outsmarted by Ant-mans wife and teenage daughter.
Loki season 2 is gonna be even more contrived than the 1st season. especially with how the endgame explained how travel works just for them in Loki to change that and have TVA be absolute morons
( NOT TO MENTION they spend many episodes bullying Loki and even telling him that his female version self is better than him, they say this 1000 times over….)
That's what i thought and i was truly shocked how it went
I do agree, it wouldve had more impact.
@@MarcusBakerX97 The TVA almost have to be morons, because anyone in the time cop position should just be able to dominate, so they almost have to be idiots, so a time travel plot can progress, or the timeline has to be this fragile flower that any little brush can just send it spinning off the rails into la la land. Also, they need to develop the Silvie character, not tell us she's so great, because its really not that obvious what is so great about her.
At the very least leave Kang alive but he has a way out and can truly regain his power. Maybe even have it where he orchestrated the hero's victory for his escape. Now he's going to wage war against the other Kang's and the MCU is his base of operation. Leading to a three way fight between an all powerful Kang the Conqueror, a Kang invasion force, and the Avengers.
Seeing this movie's Kang being not only defeated by one of the MCU's C-list heroes but also saying that he was the one Kang these other Kangs feared felt so ass backwards. Its like playing a game and the first boss you encounter turns out to have been the final boss and every boss you fight after is just a mini boss.
I think Alex nailed it:
It's all about tension and stakes that we can relate to.
There are infinite kangs and they travel between infinite universes to do anything: who gives a damn.
Thanos can beat the hulk in a fist fight: HOLY $H!T
One is totally intangible and we can't relate to it on any meaningful level. The other is a threat because it relates to a benchmark is strength we've been very familiar with and have come to assume was reliably unmatched. There is a real sense of shock and threat when we see the hulk beaten in a fist fight without any mcguffins or dumb scifi magic.
Yeah this is far tooo confusing I knew when Endgame came out and they introduced multiverses in FUCKING MOVIES this shit would be over RIP MCU
@@Thatguyyoudontknow594 This is all in service to reboot the MCU just wish they would hurry up and get it over with.
I don’t really agree. It’s about how you write the characters and their stakes, no matter the situation. Eddie Brock in comics is going through some wild ass shit right now that would be comparable to a “kang dynasty” type of thing, but the writing and character drama makes that concept worth while.
Well Said
It was all very well done with Purple Guy.
Thanos was teased throughout the years.
First scene of the movie where he's the main villain he kills Loki and Heimdall and beats Thor and Hulk.
When Bruce Banner comes to Dr Strange place and with fear on his face proclaims that "Thanos is coming" the audience knows it's gonna be a hard one.
Kang as a big baddie of current MCU timeline was teased in a... TV show? (Another point about movies in current phases being so deattached from one another)
First scene showing his power are the flashbacks where we're told stuff.
He gets taken out with Hank's ants. Then he returns just like that (I presume he beat the ants? So they weren't as strong for him? Why didn't they show it???) and gets stopped by Ant Man & The Wasp!
The ants seriously should be the next big threat lol
Lmaooooo i can't believe it
Lmfao don’t play those ants so far are a planetary threat to anything alive😂😂😂
Thousands of years of evolution but they still fight like they haven’t evolved.
Yeah, they still fight like ants, using claws to penetrate a force shield? Wearing a helmet does not make you an advanced civilization.
@@eliramh Im disappointed in the movie, they cater to the woke and kids too much. They should realise that most of their hardcore fans from the comic book days are 30+ years old.
How’s kang gonna be an avengers level threat bruh gets solo’d by a Loki and now antman LOL
Ant-Man bruh?!!!
I think that it's gonna be all of the Kangs joining forces against the Avengers.
@@Bmhtsos18 Oh god, I hope that the next Avengers movie doesn't end in another heroes fighting a hoard of "X"
Because they lie to try n sell tickets 😊
@@SirDubbs I'm afraid that it's gonna be Avengers vs an army of Kangs.
With Kang's ship power, it gets both tiny and huge Pym Particles at the same time, which is why it is and looks broken. The middle part gets tiny whilst the outer part gets huge.
I don't think Kang the Conqueror is dead...I think Marvel just wanted to show him real quick so they can tuck him away and focus on the variant Kangs across multiple movies & shows before bringing him back as a true Avengers level threat in The Kang Dynasty...Him getting sucked into the orb thingy is a good set up for him possibly growing even more powerful and at the same time making the audience forget about him long enough to have it be a surprise when he returns...as it says at the end of the movie
I think you are right but ur missing the point
The audience no longer cares, they’ve become disengaged with the MCU

When Alex & Joe mentioned that the one they took down is “The Most Powerful Kang”, I jittered in shock thinking “You seriously killed off the big one so soon? And leave us with these other weaker versions of this guy?”
Yeah i was shocked and said thats it? 😐
Someone else under a different comment already made this point (so I take no credit for this), but technically the most powerful Kang, the one who defeated all of the others and was in charge of the multiverse, was defeated by Sylvie.
@@famousthaneus9810 defeated by Sylvie? He willingly wanted to die
@@DC3328 didn't he also say that he would come back....
@@caliginousmoira8565I think the point of it was to show how a much more evil Kang could arise. So he was just keeping up one universe to avoid a multiversal war. But when he died there’s nothing keeping it stable. So yeah it’s Kang but like a different version of him
Once the spoiler review started I was shocked this got a 5/10. Should be way lower.
AJ chopped his balls off with his manscaped razor.
The ants were seconds away from soloing Kang. “Modok” literally just killed himself to complete a joke.
My biggest issue with the movie was how dumb they think the audience is, they had to do actual on screen flash backs during exposition what, 5 times? And once it was even a flashback/exposition dump about something that had happened 45 minutes earlier in the same movie
What did they flash back to? Intrigued but not going to watch this

MCU is going from a well-adapted Comic universe to a family friendly kids show.
How many more invincible hero children are they going to add?
Edit: Other than Groot, are all the kids introduced Daughters?
MSheU-gotta have the bestest Evar wahmen saving the universe. Next up is "The Marvels", should start a sweepstake now on how much money Disney will lose this year, i'm betting they can lose another $3b easily at this rate.
"Kids show" when most of the things from the M-She-U and Disney nowadays wants to groom children.
@@SpideyfanX no... i do not subscribe to that nonsense. It's just bad writing and an attempt to pander to what they think is a current audience.
If you think Disney is trying to change your children? Be a better parent or take your meds.
Well they have already stated they are working toward a "young avengers" project, and it should also be apparent from the current state of the MSHEU that an all female team up movie is planned, however I think the Marvels is going to flop so hard that they kill that project.
@@1978JWJ 'The Marvels' looks bad on paper. They need to build villains. At this point, James Gunn taking over DCCU? We are going to see a shift in quality. DC is gonna start hitting us with 'PG-13' content.
Marvel will still be not devolping villains and pushing kid characters.
I knew they were gonna mess Kang up the moment they announced he'd be in Ant Man. Kang is an easy character to mess up because he can be silly that's why he works as a background threat. The doom you're meant to feel when Loki sees his statue should have been across all of phase 4. Kang shouldn't actually show up until we have an established Avengers team so he can casually beat them. Earth's Mightiest heros did it well because dude literally is just talking smack while trivializing all the Avengers and he only loses because of plot. I just feel bad for Majors, dude is being wasted.
I knew Kang was going to be the new bad guy when they introduced the TVA, as this is such a dumb organization, and Kang did basically the same thing in his comic arc, just much better than they did. The TVA is like if Purgatory had an evil bureaucracy that made people they didn't like wait in line for no real reason, and they never really used their limited time altering power to do anything of significance, and the people they banished pretty much seemed to deserve it anyway, so it was hard to care what happened to the TVA, one way or another, which made their being a Kang tool really not matter in any way.
@@sprinkle61 The TVA ia arguably exactly what the MCU needed, just in s bigger way. Imagibe an entire phase without the major Avengers because they're being audited by the TVA. It's an amazingly mundane threat to follow the epicness of Endgame. The idea of the multiverse wasn't a bad one but it was disjointed. The link between the TVA multiverse and Dr.Strange multiverse was basically nonexistent.
Him being in an Ant Man makes sense as he basically the one responsible for getting the avengers to time travel. Wish the movie lead into that more as it’s basically his fault.
@@roxtechs Seems like they're implying the Kang in the 1900s invents a different time travel. Kang would make the most sense in a Fantastic 4 story since Reed is his ancestor.
Marvel has wasted all their villians played by great actors , gorr for example
didn't Janet have weird power in ant man 2? that was completly ignored in this movie
No, she never had extra powers. She was just saturated in extra Quantum energies she used to heal Ghost and the energy was all used up.
Friends should never let friends get interrupted mid sentences
When MODOK revealed his face my whole audience started bursting out in laughter. The film just straight up made him a punchline throughout which got old pretty quick.
Humpty Dumpty 😅😆😂
Mine did too
If they get reaction then there winning
Idk that sounds like MODOK to me at least cuz that guy just can not be taken seriously
MODOK is a joker in the comics too, it was intentional
Would have been a cool Ending when they come out of the quatum realm and many years have passed, kang has conquered earth and the entire universe and its scott fault because he basically set him free. All the upcoming movies could Deal with the other heroes dealing with the situation when kang took over and then in the upcoming avengers: the kang dynastie they come together to stop him.
Way better idea than what we got. But they even changed the ending of this movie which was a terrible idea
That actually works. It would hook you in for the next film as well.
You know what would have been even better? Kang offs all of them in the Quatum Realm and escapes to start the dynasty. But that’s way too dark for Disney.
I rate if Kang killed Scott in that final fight and showed us how proper strong he was and sent dread to those on the other side of the portal movie would have been pretty ok😄
I think this movie needed SOME visual tease of the multiverse. The main problem was this movie talked so much about Kang being this multiversal conqueror but we didn't see so much as him killing a single Avenger variant. Just like, show anything at all. There was no HOLY CRAP moment that made me really excited to see Kang Dynasty.
My favorite part of the movie is that the ants made a type two civilization haha
they will conquer the multiverse and reach type billion something and fight the multiverse super AI.
Loki Season 1 explained Kang and the multiverse much better. In fact, they should have cancelled quantummania entirely and just put all their effort and marketing into Loki Season 2. Big oof 😢
Loki and Sylvie are the real villains even worse than Thanos, for killing He who remains 😅 actually probably tony for creating time travel and getting loki caught by the TVA in the first place 😂
Silvies life in exchange for the creation and destruction of infinite people and universes is tight
You ain't wrong
The Loki show literally ruins everything lol, makes nothing matter at all

In Quantumania, the Council of Kangs looks to be governed by three distinctive versions of Kang: Rama-Tut (the Egyptian Pharaoh one who time traveld back to Egypt to conquer it), Immortus (the older, bearded version with the scratchy voice), and the Scarlet Centurion; of which the latter in the comics he wore red, so not sure why MCU decided to make him look all Tron blue neon.

Somebody probably stumbled upon the script and thought nobody would notice
I was thinking this !
One of my issues I expected from the trailers, was that Antman Thrives from scale. The audience needs things they recognize and can relate to in order to get a sense of scale with the shrinking and growing. Within the made up Quantum realm. There were No relative things to scale against. Which made most scenes confusing, especially the "you're huge" scene.
And this Kang guy. There is no setup to what he can do. So he just does anything. Like that kid in the playground "I have everything armour"
At least with the Purple guy and his Rock collection. You set up his strength, by fighting green angry man. And the magic rocks all had a special name associated with what they could do. Great set ups.
Didnt really enjoy this antman. It has been my favourite MCU hero to follow. Disappointed
I agree about the scale part, I see a lot of other people mention that too. At the end when he said "you're huge!!" someone said after you wouldn't even be able to tell they grew in size if you muted the movie. In Civil War you had the airport and other heroes for size reference, in Ant-Man and the Wasp you had the city of San Fran and the ship for scaling, in the Quantum Realm everything is already unfamiliar sizes and weird dirty colors so it's hard to tell.
@@navonmyhand7999 yep. Agreed
In the films defense Janet combined both the enlargement orbs with the shrinking orbs so it put the sphere in a state of Flux which cause the probability storm and that's why Kang couldn't enter it without loosing his mind... I also think that's how we get the Ultimate Kang (or Prime) because he looses his mind and one of the variants created in the new probability storm will be the most dangerous version 🤷🏾♂️
The helmet-on/helmet-off thing drove me nuts. Not just MODOK. Ant-Man, Wasp, Cassie, Kang. Constantly. On, off. On, off. On, off. Just keep the goddamn helmets on!!

I kinda found it annoying that at the end grandma (can't remember their names) says the orb has enough power for one more trip. I thought Scott was going to sacrifice himself, trapping himself with Kang, but then they just reopen the portal from the other side. Just kinda felt like a missed opportunity to have a bittersweet victory by having Scott either die or be at the mercy of Kang.
I got a Star Wars vibe from the movie. The world building, different alien races, rescuing other characters, the ships, cities and the big battle with the Rebels at the end.
Thought exactly the same thing while watching. Lucasfilm was in the credits so it could be that.
Never steal from the prequels. atrocious.

- there are hundrends of Kangs that behave like mindless sportfans
- there'll be a Kang in Loki S2.

2. Darren was Pim's protégé. Between him and Kang they couldn't figure out how to undo Janet's exploding of the core?
Jack Black would have been a great traditional MODOK.
I’m sorry but Namor was way more threatening than this Kang. The ending should’ve been Kang escaping and some of the Ant family getting trapped in the Quantum Realm. The mid credit scene would’ve had more weight because now all the other Kangs would have to come together to stop Kang the Conqueror
I thought this movie was going to be a loss for the heroes like infinity war where they're beaten but escape alive but maybe lose someone like Hank Pym and this exiled Kang escapes the quantum realm setting up a multi sided struggle for the fate of everything.
I actually wouldn't mind seeing a movie that is entirely Kang vs Kang vs Kang etc.
MODOK out here looking like George Lopez from sharkboy and lavagirl.
I think the Cassie actor would’ve made a good Ellie in last of us
I can't wait for the pitch meeting! Gonna be alot of getting ALL the way off the back & super easy, barely an inconvenience going on. Whoops! Whoopsie!!!
Oh….a very rude ant 😂😂😂😂😂
Just finished watching it...I don't know when but there was a point where I forgot I was watching a Marvel film. It straight up turned into a Star Wars film.
The ants felt like storm troopers
Did I miss the part where Janet no longer had those quantum healing powers she had in the last movie? I feel like MODOK could have benefitted from them being around.
Let it slide under the rug like it never happened
The MCU needs better writers and get rid of their ACTIVISTS.
Yup, nothing will get fixed until they fire all the Libtards
Where was the activism?

This THE REVIEW I was waiting for!
I really loved the part when Kang said "It's Kangin' Time!"
I just watched it and was waiting for this review
Take a drink every time Scott said "My daughter" Also Scott was not in his world at the end of the movie , thats why everything was different
At the end of the film when Ant-Man starts rethinking everything Kang said to him and becoming unsure if Kang was truly stopped, I think this is the 'cursed with knowledge' situation that Iron Man had with Thanos, where he was getting mental flashes of the impending doom coming after the first Avengers film. That's how it came off to me anyway
I highly doubt that Kang is dead…he got sucked into a portal
Hes gonna come back as modok 🤣
Don't put an excuse on Rick and Morty's writers. Plz...
These new marvel shows and movies are making me rethink if they were ever good.
Sounds like Kang is gonna have the Ultron problem. Ultron had an infinite number for his army and that made it really boring.
The Baskin Robbins guy is Gregg Turkington, who is friends with Paul Rudd and Tim Heidecker from Tim & Eric days. Tim Heidecker also has a cameo as the whale watching guide from the second Ant-Man movie. Gregg's role in Ant-Man is also a significant plot-point in the On Cinema at the Cinema universe, which is the greatest cinematic universe that's ever been created.
Can we for once, just let Alex speak without getting constantly interrupted
Joe likes to hear his own voice 🤣
Joe: "Alex what about you?"
Alex : " well i thought..""
Joe : " i thought this movie sucks!!!"
Pray for the boys during this new phase…..
Anyone calling this film great/good or even saying Kang is the best current big bad is doing a massive cope mechanism. Such a good start to the next phase of the MCU, have your big bad (Kang, a man who’s defeated the avengers many times) in this very film get outsmarted and defeated by goddamn ant-man, his wife and his teenage annoying daughter 😂 plus CGI Giant Ants (Alex was right it wasn’t that many) this movie was seriously an L for me i’m not looking forward to marvel if this is how weak Kang is gonna be presented, not excited at all for the upcoming phase.
Gotta love how super nerf Kang is (intelligence wise too)
Shouts out to Alex I truly appreciate him a lot because I’m honestly just like him after watching this.
Lol and to think that Kang is the big baddie of the entire phase....what a joke. Good luck to Marvel, they're gonna need it this phase.
It was a bad call to have Kang as a villain in this movie like this. They should've introduced him in the teaser and played that along towards an avenger movie. But I don't think Marvel intended Kang to be the central villain in the next avengers movie though. They have some other character in mind. The quantum world and Kang are generally very difficult to portray in a live action movie as general audiences won't understand it. In the comics, it makes sense as it is pages in a comic with artwork.
Did you miss the mid credits? Are you aware that they have a movie coming out called “Avengers: Kang Dynasty”?
@@LostHope84 Yeah. I know about that, haven't seen this movie though. They'll have to elevate Kang somehow for that avengers movie.
@@LostHope84 And? in this movie the the B/C list hero's killed the most powerful Kang. What exactly are the stakes? Kang the Conqueror in comics is a huge Thanos level threat more so then his other incarnations. So now with him gone it's what a disposable Kang army? I was excited after Loki I couldn't wait to see Jonathan Majors Kang the Conqueror after his He Who Remains but now what's there to look forward to. It would be like if Winter Soldier killed Thanos and Marvel said don't worry there's a blood thirsty baby Thanos who is going to reek havoc on the MCU. It's like okay but the superior one just went down easy.
@@LostHope84it’s doesn’t because their isn’t an main villain for the audience the fear, understand of relate too. Imagine if infinity war was just Guardians of Galaxy movie that they basically jobbed Thanos.
The avengers movie has his name in the title of the movie they definitely have him the main bad guy.
18:31 he actually does use his time powers, he put janet on pause mode right after ant-man got the orb, then he never ever uses that move again
That VHS bit earned my like, lol
I don't think Kang is dead, but instead is spending an eternity within the paradox dimension, slowly losing his mind being surrounded by an infinite amount of himself. Never able to escape. But he gets out in Kang Dynasty and goes ape shit, giving us the Kang we deserve.
Maybe so, but he was already described as someone who destroyed timeslines, killed avengers, and controls time itself. And then a joke head charges at him and wins? Why not reverse time? Jump backward or forward? Move a finger to choke enemies? Doesn't make sense.
Lol we cares if he's dead or not. There are a million more of him.
Wait so it's almost like this is a setup for the rest of phase 5? Whoa! Crazy concept! .......
@@DFQreacts that's why I wrote the comment. Cus people actually think Kang is dead.
@@fredericgibbinsthe2nd721 absolutely, its like they haven't seen a comic book movie before and still treat these as stand alone films and not as they are: another episode in a high budget TV show lol
Kang beaten by ants was so silly!
MODOK best line: I don't know what to do?
Cassie Lang: Don't be a dick!
Why does the MCU have little girls calling grown men "dicks"
Modok juxtaposition of looking bad ass comic accurate with his mask compared to with his mask off which by the time you see Darrens face is far from even the weirdest thing in the movie.
Also nobody is talking about how Kang treated him like a lap dog but when he saw Scott and Cassie they called him Darren and asked sincerely what happen, you can tell Modok had no plans to kill Cassie when Kang sent him at the end and at that point would feel more loyal to Scott and Cassie because they knew him before and he would be longing for his old life so it was not a surprise he turned.
The way alex is reacting says everything
Feels like DC is on the way up and Marvel on the way down. Thank you Disney.
yes!!! Finally !!! i love you DC
I doubt it. I think both will slowly fade into obscurity, meanwhile perhaps a new genre of movie will take over superhero films. That or one or both will completely change course.
With the utter trainwreck that was Black Adam, and with how generic the new Shazam and Flash movies look, I doubt they will match Black Panter or Spider-Man numbers.
I don't think so. James Gunn already f*cked up with Henry Cavil. The only reason why the flash movie would be worth watching is probably because of Michael Keaton. Otherwise I expect it to be a mid movie at best.
Nah DC will always be trash, I'd watch Antman before any movie of DC
@@tre3961 they haven’t released anything yet. Ant man trailer had just as much as hype and it didn’t do as well
I knew it was going to be stupid pretty quickly. Why is Cassie the one creating the quantum thing? Getting pretty sick of "the key to everything" children. But.....at least me and the crew I went with got a lot of enjoyment. The enjoyment was laughing at the sheer stupidity. I heard a lot of people in the theater like "wait what", "why's Cassie creating the quantum thing" "even the council of kangs is Goofy ". Da fuck is Disney doing? This movie got love and thundered up.
I feel sorry for Jonathan Majors, especially after that post credits scene

I have couple of questions at the very start of the movie
1. Why is janet so scared of quantum realm in this movie, but had sent Scott to collect the quantum particles earlier in 2nd part where he gets stuck , that time wasn’t she scared.
2. Is it me or do everyone feel weird when scots daughter calls janet and pimp as grandpa and grandma, like dude they are not related to you in anyways and they act like her grandparents 🙄
3. Why was his daughter researching to find Scott from quantum realm for 5 years, coz she didn’t know if he got blimped or not, also only
People who knew he was stuck themselves got blimped.
And how come getting smaller, if totally different locations, brings you back to the same micro location, with the same creatures you met before? Isn't it like goiwng to another galaxy, shrinking and still reaching earth somehow?
Answer to 1 is they knew where he was going and was going to bring him right out, answer to 2 is you don't have to be related to see someone as a grandpa, grandma or aunt and uncle.
Pretty dissapointing, kang is supposed to have already killed all the avengers, in many different timelines, with thor for sure being one of them, and he gets bitched like this by Ant-man and his crew? Really? It’s fine for an Antman like movie, but when you are hyping it up as this “new dynasty” that’s being established, it really fails to deliver anything close. Kang could have literally been replaced with any other mildly smart villain and it would have been exactly the same. 5/10
@32:49 bro Jet Li in the one was amazing! Had the most badass ending for a villain ever! Def need a sequel 🔥🔥
I was hoping by the end of the film, Kang was playing 4d chess and setting up all the pieces so he can escape, or maybe escape and play dead so he can have all the Kangs come to earth and Kang the Conquer pulling all the strings through out every film until Secret Wars.
Yey! Best way to start into a workday.
Bravo to Alex for coining "Dankey Kangs"
Also remember when quantum was basically as small as they could ever go with Pym Particles as established in the movies? Pepperidge farm remembers.
Yes the conqueror was the most powerful kang but he was cut off from his main power source the time chair for the entire movie. He will be back and get it for kang dynasty
Imagine 3 movies from now when Riri Williams snaps her fingers and declares, " I'm Iron Heart", to Kangs face as he turns to ashes. Humanity then owes a great debt to her
Something tells me to take a hint from the Heineken 0% alcohol beer commercial Ant Man is in.
It sounds like this is a movie "everyone" should like, until they take a drink and realize it's the Non-alcoholic equivalent of a Marvel movie packaged to look just like a better more enjoyable pre Thanos Marvel flick
I heard they gave MODOK a redemption arc??? Seriously?! Goddamn MODOK?
People are getting duped into willingly watching the credits just to see commercials for other movies, and I find that hilarious LOL
It was cold af outside I’m glad we stayed. Got to talk wit my group of friends cuz when we got outside we all bolted to our cars
At this point, I am guessing the big boss will be another version of Kang.
