I love how nebula started crying when rocket came back. A lot of people over look this but during the blip it was just rocket and nebula for 5 years. It's safe to say that rocket was arguably her first REAL friend.
Huh... I literally never thought about that...
No wonder Nebula went through what I can only imagine was hell to get Rocket Bucky's arm for Christmas. Lol
I remembered that also, i was wondering if stark gave nebula that morphing arm
This was one of my favorite moments! I was hoping to see more of their bond.
@@kagenotatsumaki It makes no sense tbh because there’s no way Bucky would let that happen if anything he’d ship Nebula in pieces of scrap in a box back to the guardians
With a note written
“Here’s your junk :)”
There’s no fucking way Nebula beat him and took his arm, refuse to believe he got punked by Nebula… no fucking way he must’ve been in a deep slumber and she strategically got it off… somehow idk
But dammit I can tell you one thing 😂 she didn’t beat him in a fight no matter what anyone says
@@DARKK_DC she probably stole it. I doubt he sleeps with it on. Most people take off their prosthetics before bed
Groot didnt actually talk at the end. We the audience, just like Gamora, finally heard him like everyone else does. They always said, the longer you are around him, you just sort of know what he is saying. This was a cute and touching moment for the fans.
I was about to write the same thing.
HUGE missed opportunity at the end when Groot says 'I love you guys'. There should have been large subtitles under that just saying "I am Groot".
According to infinity war, Groot was a language taught in Asgard . So i guess Gunn disagrees with that .
@@syedaiman5705thor was being sarcastic. Asguardians speak the "god tongue" which is a universal language that is understood by all and can understand all languages.
Yeah I didn't realize this until screencrush explained it
Also the scene where Groot actually talks and says "I love you guys" was implying that we understood him like Gamorra started understanding him.
That actually freaked me the F out! I was like ILLEGAL😂😂🤷🏾♂️👍🏾
Oh i thought so
@@B-DadBut you can say one F -Bomb in a PG-13 movie. Funny its just used now.
I'm just happy others understood that message in him saying that. Like we all became guardians in that moment.
Damn, this realization made me cry. Thank you for pointing this out! I love these characters 💚
I about broke down when you first get introduced to young rocket post surgery, and the first word out of his mouth is "hurt". Tears, man, I was not ready for that gut punch.
Lol could say the same about 5 different parts . So sad and loved the movie , gonna miss them and James Gunn too
I was a wreck man...I have a 10 month old doggy and she is my world and softened me up. I had to turn away from the screen for EVERY frikn flashback with rockets friends and backstory. I so wish they had a better ending.
Damn animal lovers
@@ShmadenShmuki. damn animal haters
@@mrj1299 damn soy boys
Seeing Rocket's friends dead was just a punch in the gut to me. Mcu movies never once got any serious emotion out of me, but this one did. Finally an mcu movie with some balls.
Wow, it’s nice to have friends. Lol
I didnt feel as much as the movie wanted me too especially when it just kills 2 of them off screen lmao.
@@zachrohler1047dont think u need to see them getting shot
Alex is wrong about the peter and zune... In the other movies he did the same because of the connection the walkman had with his mom. The zune meant more not because of the music... It cuz of yondu, his dad!
Yup 💯
wouldve been weirder to me if peter left it behind tbh
Alex completely missing an unspoken plot point.
Shocker.
Edit: I don't mean that as a dig at the movie. Alex just tends to do that a lot...
The stupid part is that somehow Starlord is the last person on the ship, then drops the Zune in the worst moment possible and then tries to get it back by jumping back into the exploding starship just to give Adam Warlock an opportunity to redeem himself.
A lot of the plot contrivances felt like watching Rise of Skywalker.😂
Exactly. Good luck getting him to admit he’s wrong though.
I’ll be very honest. I was not expecting the scene with Nebula struggling mightily to get into the car to be the first time the F bomb gets dropped in a Marvel movie. Just getting audiences warmed up for Deadpool.
I was also expecting somebody to die. I think every member of the Guardians ended up in a situation that should have killed them. After so many fake outs I really expected Mantis to just get unceremoniously eaten by the giant monster.
Lmao right. This is literally the first time I heard the word "fuck" in a marvel movie.
I kinda wish they would have given the F-Bomb to Rocket. Imagine if he said "Rocket Fucking Racoon"
@@jessec.6876 oh that would've been so good
I had to rewind that part to make sure I heard quill right lol
I’m so impressed by the way the characters had become in the film. Especially Gamora’s tough and rebellious switch over Nebula’s sister and caring evolution. The relationship these group have made at Knowhere and the community they built. Made me want to see more of them, and it’s so bittersweet to see it all ends here.
Indeed, I was actually getting frustrated that this is wrapped (perhaps) now cuz that community by the end has me wishing for a tv show at least
I would have given Star-Lord surviving outer space a pass, but in Vol. 2, Ego specifically states that if he dies, Peter will lose those powers and just be a normal human again.
There were a couple of scenes where ships were holed and no decompression occurred and I didn't notice any shields, knowhere for example had those things tearing into it
i think he was lying.... wasn't peter the only one with the 'spark'?
@@caliginousmoira8565 He did have a connection to the Light, but he hasn't been able to use since then because it was lost after Ego died. James Gunn confirmed it years ago in a tweet that he's been mortal ever since.
I mean he still has egos biology in his DNA. Ego can't really take that away.
Yeah that one was weird.
How James Gunn can get so much emotion out of what on the surface is a silly franchise is honestly quite amazing, by far one of the very top directors working today.
Mentioning the DC actors that were in Guardians 3, the actress that plays Ratcatcher was in the compound too. She was the pink lady that got taken hostage by Gamora
Ohhh I wondered why her voice sounded so familiar. Good catch!
She's also going to be in Fast X along with John Cena.
That’s awesome James looking out for his crew like that I immediately noticed Harcourt too
@@TheWrestlinEra and Fillion of course
The little girl is actually listed as Phylla Vell in the credits, a character that DEFINITELY has a comic counterpart
Oh shit for real? That’s awesome! Phylla was a fantastic character in the Annihilation and Annihilation: Conquest comics.
Yup. We are totally getting an Annihilation movie at some point
Isn't Phylla Vell a Kree, though?
Yup phylla is very powerful
I don’t get why people think marvel makes up characters no you just don’t know every super hero 🙄
Walrus and bunny scene got to me 😭
Teefs and Floor
@@thisiskindacrap13 ✊
and Lylla. . . 😢
Also Peter almost killing hinself for his music happened in every movie so it was a given haha
Peter got his Zune for Rocket, not for himself. He literally left a note that says "I got this for you" at the end.
Something I really liked about the movie was how graphic it got sometimes. Like when the High Evolutionary got his face pulled off, or our first MCU F-Bomb. Fun stuff
there was alot more darker stuff in this movie. adding to your few points you have the villain killing off the experiments and rockets animal friends being murdered
It was graphic and the Guardians was killing not knocking out the bad guys.
An all those animal 🐷 army bots 🤖 look like the Demons from Doom the game, and Aliens from Quake 2!
I don't get it how this movie got PG-13. It's insane.
@Zoltán Bublos not really. Everything in the movie falls within PG-13 guidelines, it's just that most Marvel movies keep a tame PG-13 rating that's closer to PG than R
I have a feeling that James gunn can do a good Teen titans move if he follow that formula from Guardian galaxy
Honestly never thought of that but that’s a great idea, im for it
That's what i thought when i went to see this too. He's a master of writing hurt characters/found famillies so yeah, such a good fit for that. Getting to mix slice of life elements in that feel natural. Although i'd be hoping for the 2004 animated line up, then in 10 years time after 3 or 4 movies and the original titans have grown up, we can get damian wayne with a new 2nd batch of titans.
Ooooooo but Titans the TV series was a snooze fest
@@geesixninenot the og one
He would make a great invincible movie that's for sure
Just wanna point out, Groot does not speak english on that scene, it's the audience that now are able to understand groot. This has been confirmed by James Gunn himself as the intention.
Yeah I got that but still didn't land for me, it reminded me of when they made Pikachu speak English in one of the movies.
I wasn't really crying when his family actually died, I was sad, but not tearing up... when I really started sobbing was when Rocket died, and was talking to Lylla about seeing the sky and how he wanted to go. I was actually hoping he wouldn't come back, it felt like such a beautiful ending for Rocket. This has to rank in my Marvel top 5
I was also trying to not get invested much in Rocket's friends in the flashbacks, I just had a feeling that was telling me that it wasn't going to end well for them
What really got me was Floor yelling “floor, teeth, rocket go now” after Lyla died.
Ugh seeing them all waving at him in the ether. I think for anyone who has ever lost a loved one you hope they’re waiting to bring you home. The way that they weren’t different just happy to see him
It's weird because I was a huge Adam Warlock fan as a kid. I was a little annoyed with this Adam at first, but I really started to like him. Didn't ever really think of him as Adam Warlock, but he was a cool character He sort of reminded me of that Funny cyborg from the 3rd Bill and Ted movie.
He’s supposed to be acting childlike as this is his first major MCU appearance since Vol. 2, similar to the comics. But I get your point
@@hoodiepen didn’t they also mention in the movie that the HE pulled him from the cocoon before he was fully mature or something? So he was kinda having to learn and form his own moral compass throughout the movie
@@matthewhall8939 yes. the high evolutionary forced the sovereign to birth him early. so he's not mature and has the mind of a child pretty much.
The Girl is Phyla-Vell she'll be the adopted daughter of Drax, instead of Moondragon
That’s a deep cut reference. I read all of the Annihilation and Thanos Imperative comics during Covid and I still didn’t catch that. Good catch!
That would be awesome but Dave Bautista said he’s done as Drax, unless he’s lying lol. Who knows as of rn
They say her names Phyla Vell in the post credit. now as far as the adoption part. it makes sense due to him adopting all the children which included her. now Drax can go do other things and get brought back probably way later.
Future Quasar as well.
Rockets back story was amazing, Adam was literally pulled out of his cocoon early so he was OP but just stupid and followed mommy’s orders until she died and filled that whole with the guardians, I really enjoyed the dynamic between the guardians especially Nebula, Drax and Mantis. The High Revolutionary fell to obsession over Rocket which made him make mistakes. Peter probably forgot his gear on Knowhere bc they left in a rush to save Rocket. The humor was surprisingly not that cringey other than some scenes (compared to past movies), Peter went back for his music player bc Yondu got it for him. Film was a 8/10 for me.
The screams from Rocket, Peter and Mantis in specific scenes were really good as well
@@steezymiguel2393facts!
The little girl that was in the after credits is in the comics, I believe she was like the genetic clone daughter thing of Captain Mar-Vell yeah comics are weird can’t explain her she’s a lot but good movie
In the comics she's also the love interest of Drax's daughter Moondragon
@Jason Tetkowski Her name is Phyla-Vell. I know it's unlikely but I really wished they brought back Ultron and did the Annihilation conquest storyline
Damn. This was an emotional movie. Loved it. Best of the 3 for me
I think so too
Yea man. This movie was hard to watch. I actually hated every rocket flashback. Every happy moment those friends had I already knew something bad is going to happen and I really felt bad for them. It was straight sad and disturbing. Dark for sure
@@bombjelly5795 Same! Every flashback scene, I had a feeling that it was gonna end with them dying so I tried not to get too attached. But when Rocket died and was talking about the Sky with Lylla, I started sobbing
I don’t care if I’m the minority, this is one of my fav movies of all time I’ve seen it 3 times already 😢😅
I like this movie. It's emotional and funny. It's a good GOTG movie. But, I'm probably in minority here, the first two GOTG movies are better.
I actually really liked how Peter went back for the Zune and think its perfectly in character for him. The Zune is the only thing left of Yondu. And he thinks Rocket will need it when he becomes the leader.
"only thing left of Yondu" uhh, did you not see the Yaka Arrow Kraglin was using? 😂😂
YES JOE THANK YOU not every hero exit has to be them dying how depressing if that was the case for ppl who just want to do good
@capt truth sometimes things just end on a good note. Ppl for some reason don't want characters to have joy
Of course not all heroes have to die… and usually they don’t die at all with extremely rare exceptions.
I am just annoyed that even the stupidest decisions don’t have any negative consequences at all… and I hate those stupid death fake outs.
@@TotallyWorkinggPeople only expected a tragic ending because that’s the expectation that’s been built up for the last few years by every piece of media/marketing leading up to release
Yes because the Guardians have suffered enough already. Nebula and Rocket had no family for 5 years in Endgame and Peter already lost his Gamora in Infinity War
@@ramigilneas9274 yea plot armor is a crazy thing sometimes
For me, this was the last MCU movie I was excited for, and will probably be the last one I see in theaters. The Guardians were always my favorite, and it was such a great end to the story. I'm probably done with Marvel movies for now, but man it was a good run. Big thanks to James Gunn for being such a massive part of my growing up
Yeah same very happy with GOTGs ending prob gonna be my last marvel movie for awhile. The new characters they’re introducing are so bland compared to the old ones. America, Ironheart etc. Not rlly excited for the new avengers movie with the current lineup
Rocket's outta body scene & Kraglin getting Yondu's arrow to work, those were my tearjerk moments. I saw the High E as a mashup of Dr Moreu, Dr Mengele, & Hitler, & seeing him get BEAT was sooooo satisfying! Offing ALL of Counter Earth, that shocked me, but the villain's callousness about it shocked me worse! If this is the final Guardians film, I was satisfied.
I missed a Yondu Arrow slow-mo montage, it was over a bit too fast.
@ 7:00, Quill lost all his Celestial powers when Ego's light was destroyed. So it doesn't matter that he's half Celestial anymore.
There is a comic book counterpart to the little girl, she’s Quaser, another popular character in the guardians mythos. She’s a modified superbeing with a glowing eye and the ability to create objects with light
She's just Phyall Vell. She was Quasar, Caption Marvel, Starbrand, and Martyr
I know it’s your opinion, but Peter has always been so close to his music. It’s his biggest thing to remember mom and now Gamora. Him fighting to get that zune was needed and huge. He’s caught in the past for them and it still rings true
Again, not sure the emotional connections to the actual music. Peter's mom made him mixed tapes with songs she loved and sang to him. Are we to believe Yondu was hanging around listening to earth radio, and put songs he loved in the Zune for Peter? Or was it a cool thing he found that peter would probably like, but not even important enough to remember to actually give to him himself?
Joe if you get a dog you will understand and laugh at the bad dog joke more lol 😂
the number of times i saw Mantis land on her neck, I thought she was gonna die
I’m a warlock fan and I really liked him in this movie. I wish he was incorporated sooner but I think him being removed from his chamber early and he is not fully developed is a good idea and is well performed in the movie. If you think about it every time he attacks somebody or does something he literally goes all out which is why he seems to crash through things and fall down a few times because he is literally overclocked. It’s good character development that he will learn how to control his powers and find more understanding of interpersonal interactions.
Seeing Rocket’s origins and when he was younger was when I cried the most. Overall, I enjoyed this movie so much despite crying a lot. Oh and give Linda Cardellini an Oscar ASAP because she did Lylla so perfectly and beautiful
Yes this is the only guardians movie I won’t be rewatching. I did too much crying and I feel like no matter how many times I will watch it, it will always make me cry. Plus I cannot take seeing young rocket being maltreated for the second time 😞😣
The final flashback fucking broke me never felt such seething hatred for an mcu villain before.
The High Evolutionary put on a performance
Groot in the end when he is big is actually how groot is supposed to be and his first appearance back in the 60s in tales to astonish so groot being that big and that design is accurate to the classic comics
they dont always sign the contracts. they probably had talks with Pratt. will see what happens or maybe even recast if Pratt decides he doesnt want to return. Also, the young girl in the new guardians lineup is: Phyla-Vell . fairly recent in the comics. post year 2000 from what i read.
2004 but yeah
They wouldn't say he was coming back if Pratt was coming.
I don't know if this explains it, but Mantis said she couldn't translate the language that the kids were speaking. I'm guessing that's why she couldn't use her powers to tell the kids to move away from the starboard side of the ship.
9/10 The only thing I felt was out of place was the Sovereign characters, I think they should've had more screen time to really flush out their characters. They made Adam Warlock child like and they should've used the death of this mother to mature him (maybe she would sacrifice herself to save him to show she loved him even though they had a rough relationship) perhaps he would make a connection with Peter means his mother died when he was young too.
That last part could still happen. He could talk to Thor too
Sad part is, and I'm not a comic reader, I can imagine comic readers complaining about him being too immature and underpowered but it'll just be handwaved away by the fact of "wElL tHeY oPeNed hIs eGg tOo eArLy"
@@Naysayernotme well yeah that was the point. I’m sure that if he features in future movies we’ll see him grow and become more powerful over time
@LivingEC In the comics Adam Warlock is initially immature. He takes time and tragedy to become serious.
The second I knew this movie was great was when Rocket told Quill they needed to save the rest of them. But he struggled getting out the words. I immediately started sobbing.
When Peter swore at Nebula was pretty funny
Also Groot at the end was homage to comic Groot I think well at least with how his head looked
For Peter his music means a lot so he had to turn back and get it.. and dont forget he said he always finds a genius way of getting out of situations so he thought it would be fine.. and Mantis was going to use her ability to tell the kids but then Nebula annoyed her and she ended up scaring them so Drax had to step in. Did you miss the mention of Kevin Bacon?
You missed the point also dude. Its not about the music but what the actual Zune means to him (his connection to his mom)
@@mopillo88 lol you missed it... It's the connection to his dad, yondu... The story evolved in Vol 2
@@rayyrantz its his connection to kevin bacon
When Groot said “I love you guys”, I’d like to think that in reality he said “I am Groot”, but similar to Gamora, at last we’re understanding what he is meaning to say.
The girl is a comic book character. Phyla-Vell, Daughter of the original captain marvel from the comics. Also goes by Quasar.
i don't know a lot about the comics but who would be a big enough cosmic threat that would need cosmic level heroes?

12:30 No. That was "Lamb Shank" voiced by James Gunn. Pete Davidson was just some random guard.
Such an emotional movie. I honestly think it’s the best MCU trilogy.
It is. Officially. GOTG 2 is better than Cap 1. That's the buzzer beater right there imo. If GOTG 2 was dogshit...it'd be right there with Thor before Ragnarok
im torn between this and spider man trilogy
little girl in post credits was called Phyla, pretty sure it was Phyla-Vell, a very much comic book character.
Oh man that hallway scene. Loved it.
I thought it was pretty sad when Mantis made drex forget after she yelled at him and nebula about drax being dumb. She put them both in thier place but made sure drax forgot everything haha. Nebula still needed to hear it though.
I wanted drax to dance for/with mantis before she left. It would have meant more if he did it as a goodbye
My one problem with the jumping off the ship plan and the ending space scene is Peter doesn’t have his gear. Where’s his helmet and rocket boots? Maybe I need to rewatch it but I swear he doesn’t have them through the whole movie.
Right! Like he had his gear in infinity war & endgame so idk 🤷♂️
They were destroyed in GOTG 2 and they were magically back in Infinity War.
Someone said that Peter may have literally just forgot them at Nowhere because they immediately sprung into action to save Rocket without really gearing up or planning.
It kind of checks out honestly.
@@kagenotatsumaki I was also thinking that he just forgot to grab them too because they were in a rush
He left his room in a hurry. I’d assume his crap is in his place of dwelling
Totally agree on the Cosmo joke. First time it was funny, next eight times it got really old.. I am surprised you guys didn't bring up Starlord dropping a hard F-bomb when he was telling Nebula how to open the door. That caught me completely off guard.
Vin Diesel said I love you guys, come see Fast 10
I’m familiar with the high Revolutionary because of the Spider-Man Unlimited animated series back in the late 90s. 2°. He’s accurate in the guardians movie, because there is a counter earth where you have humanoid animals. The only differences with that Spider-Man Unlimited series. There were humans on counter earth, but they were lower on the hierarchy underneath animals.. everything and guardians wasn’t comic book accurate or even accurate to the Spider-Man series, but it was OK. The high revolutionary wasn’t as strong as he is in the comments, but really, no Villines. And they depict the Adam warlock naïve because of the recent depiction of Adam warlock in the animated marvel shows in the 2010s.. they could’ve balanced it out like they did in the guardians video game back in 2021
I just remembered that High Evolutionary was from Spider-Man Unlimited the cartoon after the original 90’s series. As soon as they were on counter earth it just flashed back to me
I was wondering what happened to Quill's space mask? I don't know if i missed it in any other movie, but how come Quill doesn't have his mask to save him when he was in space like the other movies?
James Gunn’s explanation is that Quill aka Star Lord left it in his desk drawer in Knowhere.
@@timothymorris157in other words he forget that quill was supposed to have a suit with gadgets and boosters.
Drax survived planetary re-entry while hanging outside a crashing ship. And we doubt how he survived this?
And also like I said I have the bonus footage, and James Gunn did commentary on the movie, and he talked about Groot, has he is a different Groot, not the one from the first movie that one died cause he sacrificed himself for the team, this is like an offspirng of that Groot
Best marvel movie so far. Actually made me feel something.
Why didn’t starlord just use his helmet or rocket boots when he was in space?
When Peter, Nebula and Groot go to the High Evolutionary's ship, they are stopped by the pig & rhino monster to be scanned. The pig tells Nebula she can't go in because she just is a weapon, and they scan Quill. Then as the Pig turns to Groot, the scene cuts and they are walking inside. Yeah I bet you had to cut there, because that was kinda awkward if you had to try and explain how they managed to sneak the guns through a gun scanner so you could have the "Now Groot!" gun reveal scene in the throne room.
Griot is nude…you see what you get. I mean shit I wouldn’t of thought he had them either 😂
They didn’t scan him because he’s not wearing anything to hide something
@capt truth
It’s very very stupid and would have been easy to solve… or at least make it less stupid.
Simply don’t use a scanner at all… and let the scene play out the same.😂
I know the review has been out for awhile already but I recently seen the movie, and got the bonus footage, and with High Evolutionary, it shows on the deleted scenes while they are back on Knowhere they have HE in a prison cell, it’s actually more like an animal cage
Groot turns into King Groot at the end there. Adam warlock should've done a little more but he essentially was as useful as nebula was in the second one and she got on the team. He gave me guardians the video game from like 2021 vibe. Which was fine. Music was good but I agree a little mehh like Alex said. I like how nebula had an omage to Iron Man with her wings and photon arm like Tony against thanos. This movie is better than a lot of Marvel movies lately. Great!
The little girl is Phyla Vell. She’s a prominent member of the Guardians in the comics.
The little girl in the post credits scene is actually based off a comic book character, Phyla-Vell! In Annihilation/Annihilation Conquest she becomes Quasar and she wields the quantum bands. The girl in the post credits scene is not the same Phyla-Vell from the comics, but it seems she will be loosely based on her if she returns.
Glad someone else noticed her.
The little girl new To the roster IS a comic book character she is Phyla-Vell she was one of the lady's that held the title Captain Marvel 5 and Quasar 2
@ 26:29, They didn't let the High Evolutionary die on the exploding ship. I just saw it a second time, and the scene where all the animals are running, you can clearly see Drax carrying him.
It was quite clear High Evolutionary wanted Rockets brain, that's it
Give them a break. The dude only screamed it out loud in like 6 scenes. How the fuck were they supposed to catch that???
@@kagenotatsumaki yeah they should watch a movie twice before reviewing. That shits annoying
There were so many heart hitting moments in this, such as nobody dying except for the Guardians in the sense of splitting up a bit, Groot saying “I love you guys”, and Star-Lord eventually returning in whatever.
There is a comic book version of the little girl in the end. She is Phylla Vell, daughter of the original captain marvel in the comics. Wich means, she is Kree warrior in the comics and she used to be in a relationship with moon dragon.
I can see the wheels spinning in Alex' head in every review, waiting for the moment he gets the mic.
Only to hardly get a thought out before being interrupted
When Peter stops Ego in Vol 2, Ego explicitly states destroying him and his home would render Peter human again. So it makes no sense that he survived.
Ego said the source of Peter’s power was from him. When Ego died Peter lost his celestial powers.
My biggest question, where was Peter's helmet and rocket boots? He had them in the past 2 guardians movies, he had them infinity war.. where'd they go?
I think Adam on team could technically do it all however I think rocket would humanize him like how Peter did to rocket. Rocket at first was all shoot questions think later. Now rocket has to teach lessons to someone similar
Great film, lots of emotional moments. Best characters in marvel.
Honestly since I played the game my opinion for these movies changed the game did such a good job fleshing every one out and did such a good job with thier character development and back stories and i honestly love those versions of the guardians more then i do the movie ones now

That hallway scene was fucking amazing. When Rocket jumped in the air and did that badass pose, I couldn't stop smiling.
I found it surprisingly emotional with Mantis + Drax's wave goodbye. you can see the tear in their eyes and just got to me.

One DC actor crossover you missed was Uhra, the pink girl that Gamora takes hostage and Quill tries to flirt with, was the girl who played Ratcatcher 2 in The Suicide Squad.
👍🏻Thanks bro for pointing out and remembering her cast participation in the last MCU Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy film. Daniela MELCHIOR is her name, she's Portuguese and plays the role of Ura in the movie. We're very proud of her here in Portugal and wish her the best. Vol. 3 is nice but has some annoying flaws (Adam Warlock's introduction and plot being of them imo too). My final verdict=8/10✓ Obrigado pela consideração! 🇵🇹👊🏻🇺🇸
As someone who loved first movie more than any marvel movie this was great but depressing. Really hit home that gamora actually did die and even groot reaching adult form and being different then OG groot really drove home the original groot wasn’t reborn but new groot was actually more like a son. . So groot really died to……. Balls
isn’t quill no longer half celestial? pretty sure ego said in volume 2 when they were fighting that if he killer him he would be just like everyone else (mortal)
Mortal, yes
Still more durable than a baseline human.
Theory is kang was supposed to be in the post post credit scene but it was cut with all the things happening to Jonathan majors
Wait, what happenings? Also why Joe mentions about recasting?
I doubt that. I feel like James Gunn would want this final entry to be more self contained.
@@Kairax he is accused of assault of his gf. Pretty solid evidence for it apparently
@@Favar1 Thanks. Would be awesome if they change marvel main villain.
Every change is at least "change" in mahvel
@@Favar1there’s no evidence but ok
The little girl IS a character from the comics. She's phylla-vell, she's had a few aliases (last one I was aware of is martyr or photon)
Quasar
There is a comic book counterpart to the little girl whose in the Guardians in the post credit scene. Phyla-Vell. She was Captain Marvel at one time.
I loved Guardians 3. The comedy, action, and music was great. The somewhat final performances of the actors were done as well as they could and I’m fine with that. The emotional weight was great and Rocket’s story was great, or as I called it “Beautifully Depressing”.
Chukwudi Iwuji was amazing as I loved him in Peacemaker and here he was truly a Shakespearen Villain. And just his entire arc here was great. I also liked that this film presented darker tones and the first F-Bomb, but I can’t forgive marvel not giving that title to Samuel L. Jackson😂😂😂 but the overall story was great.
Also, as much as I Love Adam Warlock, he honestly had NO PLACE in this film. He’s just kinda there tbh but Marvel’s gotta introduce characters somehow.
Overall, this film was great and I loved it, even though this film made me an emotional wreck. 8/10
I loved when he screamed get back in your cages! Had me a lil shook 😂
This movie is the closest thing to perfect that I have ever witnessed. Guardians Volume 3 is not only one of the best Marvel films I’ve seen, but this is one of the best films I’ve seen PERIOD. I won’t say much other than to get your asses to the theater and watch this cinematic masterpiece. James Gunn in my eyes is the greatest filmmaker of this generation and this film solidified his genius.
That scene in the beginning with Adam getting hurt for the first time and bleeding that scene could be scene like out Naruto when Sasuke attacked and hurt Gaara and he felt pain and saw his own blood for the first time. He could have gone in insane and killed more random people and use more powers. Adam Warlock could have been a better antagonist in this movie.
Peter for some reason doesn't use his helmet and rocket boots in this film, which would be extremely useful and save him from the near death situation at the end.
Adam Warlock should have been handled like an Evil Vision (Like the moment where Vision talks to the "Other" Vision, Wanda and Vision serie), trying to reason with them, telling them to surrender Rocket, then being a threat throught most of the movie, with similar outcomes
Well technically he was a Fantastic Four villain which they called his name HIM. Before he became a I guess anti-hero and was named Adam Warlock.
There's literally and evil version of warlock that's way stronger then anyone we have ever seen
Ngl I kinda wished that groot had more more scenes with rocket since the first movie we have seen them together.
I think their relationship just isn't as strong as og Groot and Rocket. Rocket seems more like an Uncle to Groot here, with Quill being the dad figure. Idk that's how I've seen it.
The lady that Peter was flirting with was Ratcatcher 2 in The Suicide Squad. I looked it up too.
There seems to be a trend where a new kid character/hero is added at the end of MCU movies: Love and Thunder, Wakanda Forever, and now Guardians 3. Are they trying to set up a Young Avengers?
Yes, so in 20 years time those actor are still young enough to be cranking movie sequels
I was remarkably surprised that I enjoyed this movie after the last 3-4 movies I was worried this would just be 100 jokes and we'd just laugh at the experimentation and torture. But surprisingly marvel restrained itself and let those emotional moments happen, and sit
Stop doubting James Gunn. Marvel had no part in this. Don't give them any credit quite yet lol James has had this idea for Rocket since Vol 1.
How about that F bomb getting dropped in a Disney movie. 😂
I feel like it was a specific reference to another movie but can't think what
